Heading to the Phils Friday night as well. Last nights game ended with Endy Chavez having one of the worst at bats I've ever seen from a major league player. He was so overmatched the only chance for him to get on was to get hit by a pitch. He took the walk out of the picture by swinging at a ball that bounced in front of the plate (I wish I was kidding). This is the same guy that Ed Wade was really excited to get in a trade for Marlon Byrd. The lesson as always, Ed Wade is an idiot.

If there ever was a recipe for a movie that should not be made, this is it. A 60 year old Stallone fighting? Rocky V was bad enough. Now I'm going to have to spend 10 bucks to see this crap. (yeah, I'm from Philly so it's not really an option)

I second the Entourage love in here. That show is the greatest thing on tv. Piven really deserves to take home the Best Supporting actor one too (especially since Gob wasn't nominated).

Wow, I am kind of disturb that my thoughts were just put into nl5xsk1's post. I've always been into Tanya and Trishelle for some reason. I think that the coke off the vag would peak my interest most, as that is not a common site. But, if Trishelle has her mouth open, that would probably overtake it.

75 mil on a budget in the 20's is pretty fucking great.

I somehow managed to stick with the show through all five seasons (missing episodes here and there). The finale was everything that I could have ever asked for in a tv show. Absolutely amazing. I have to admit that from Claire's going away dinner until the end of the episode I was fighting a losing battle against tears. It was a brilliant way to end such a poignant series. SPOILERS BELOW (don't remember how to tag) The ending montage showed how all of the major characters died, giving them all the white card treatment and ending with a very elderly Claire in bed. They zoom in on her eyes as she dies and flash back to her driving away from the house. Just amazing.

CD04, do you mean The Dead (as they currently are) or The Grateful Dead version (when Jerry was still alive)? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Both. I actually really like the new Dead, especially when they have Warren Haynes playing and singing a lot.

At this point I will have a hard time really enjoying the Eagles this year if TO is still around. Unless he has a dramatic change of attitude. He's such a fucking little girl.

Always really enjoyed the Dead (mom listened a bit, so I got exposed at an early age). I remember this day 10 years ago, similar to how I remember Cobain. I was in a small record shop in my hometown buying some stuff when the store owner asked me what I thought about it. I was pretty much floored. This seems to be ending. I've had Ondemand for quite awhile now, and they used to have 4 matches up and when one went down a new one took it's place. They've had about 20 different matches, but seem to have stopped updating it.

Just wanted to jump in here with two quick things on the Phillies. Abreu gets shit on all the time around this city for the things UTSH is mentioning, and I don't think that it is fair to him at all. If you actually look at his stats, they are about the same in all situations (runners in scoring position, late in games, late in close games, etc.). I think that he got shit on by 610 and people picked up on it, and now you remember the bad. If you think about it, someone who fails 2 out of every 3 times is considered very good in baseball, so it is easy for people to find examples of Bobby getting out in clutch situations and they stick in your mind. Now, on the other hand I don't always get the feeling that he is giving it his all in the outfield. It might just be that he's not the greatest fielder ever, but that is where my problems with Bobby come from, not anything he does at the plate. The other Phillies point that I don't think has been mentioned here, is that by doing nothing, the Phillies have given Ed Wade a 2 year contract extension. Unbelievable to me. He has made maybe 2 good trades during his time here, the team has not made the playoffs once and he hired the worst manager I've seen in a long time (well, not that long since we've had our share). What is it going to take to get Wade out of here?

The Dead Milkmen are my choice. The Bleach Boys still makes me chuckle. I found Eminem's first couple of albums to be funny as well. I Never Meant to Give you Mushrooms, or whatever the song was actually called cracked me up.

Big Fish was a really enjoyable movie, but the best McGregor movie is "Shallow Grave", followed by "Trainspotting". I thought I'd throw that in, since we are giving each other opinions and all.

The topic was an interesting one - whether or not an internet service provider should allow Horsley to post the names of abortion doctors on his website. A good system that I used in the past was Q Carbo if you have a couple of days. If you have a week, cranberry juice is good to drink in excess. If you don't have much time, here is what I did to pass one. Drink a ton of water before you take the test. You will be basically pissing water then. Now, so it appears that you haven't, eat 3 or 4 hamburgers and take 4 tylenols. This will effectively mask weed in your system.
