I just recently found Law & Order and must say that I'm very impressed. I like how they really don't get caught up in to much of the detectives personnal lives and just give pure story most of the time. This makes for a good show that you can catch everyonce in awhile and not feel really lost. I've seen an episode of each and like the original & SVU the best, but CI was fine too.

Where does Martin Brodeur rank on the All-time

A fourth cup isn't on the way this year, but I think he's a top fiver. That's means a lot coming from a life long Flyers fan. -
Alright, let's get this show on the road. I think that both games in E Rutherford are going to be incredible. It's rare that two teams will match up similar styles in a game, but I think that you'll see it twice tonight. I have absolutely no clue what's going to happen in these two games. It'll come down to who plays better, which is how it should be. Nelson vs. Paul is going to be an awesome display of how to play the PG position. I haven't looked forward to two players going head to head like this in a long time. If only we could've seen Carmelo vs. Lebron on this stage. That would've been too much.

There was some follow up on this story on the Today show this morning. Apparantly this was a very troubled teen who believed that he really would be blessed by having the 72 virgins waiting for him in the afterlife. He also was said to have been having problems fitting in at school or something like that. Kind of sounds like the same excuses people use for American kids that do fucked up shit. Well, except for the virgins thing.

I think that you read the quote wrong. I take it to be that neither had Mandela's greatness, but Yassin was the better of the two. Eh, but whatever. They shouldn't even mention the fuck in the same sentence, so you do have a valid point.

Well, the topic kind of explains itself. I used to really dig those guys, but haven't heard from them in a few years. Anyone else like them or know what happened.

You guys didn't like the Sixth Sense??? I thought that was one of the best movies from the past 10 years. I've liked all three of his big movie a lot. Hell, I even thought that Stewart Little was alright.

Replace her birth control pills with tic tacs. It's a nine month April Fools day celebration.

I hope that they don't have Edge jobbing out to HHH in his first PPV back. That would really be hard to overcome if they want to give him a good solid push down the line. I just overall don't understand the draft/trade of HHH logic. I hope that Angle at least gives some kind of reason as to why he wanted to trade him back to Raw. And, I hope they have some kind of explanation for Angle being the GM outside of him calling dibs.

I was always a dog person and still am to a large extent, but if you live in a city, a cat is the way to go. They're so much less maintenance. My girlfriend's cat, which will become part mine when we move in together I guess, is pretty damn cool. He kind of needs as much attention as a dog usually does, but at least he's not one of those finicky cats that hates people. He changed my opinion of cats quite a bit.

I'm really looking forward to the Wake/St. Joes game. The teams seem to match up really well and it should be close. I'll probably be in the minority in the Philly bars cheering Wake on, but that's always fun as well. I don't see Paul getting the jitters, but you never know. There were a couple of times in the Manhatten game where they needed a bucket and he just threw the team on his back and got them one. Paul and Okefor are the only two players in this years tournament who I think will translate into great pro players. Everyone else seems destined to be a bench player in the NBA.

Oh, and I think that today is the deadline to sign restricted free agents away from teams. I know that Buckhalter is still on the list. He's a guy that I would spend a 4th round draft pick to get. Are there any other good restricted free agents left?

Carter's numbers in the first half of the season were identical to the prior year when everyone said he was horrible. He's not going to be a great quarterback, he might end up being okay but that's about it. The Cowboys pretty much got shut out everytime they played a good defense last year.

Blank Man All the Karate Kids except for the Next Karate Kid Over the Top Can't Buy Me Love I think that I could really go on forever, but I'll stop with these that I hadn't seen mentioned.

I enjoyed their match last night. I didn't think it was amazing or anything, but it was a good enough match to me. I would have liked to see Eddy hit the frog splash though. It got kind of clusterfucky at the end, but that wasn't HHH's fault.

Very awesome dudes, though. I hear they're great live, too. I still hate myself for missing them the one time they came down to Southern California within the last few years. They do put on a great show. I've caught them twice and enjoyed each concert a lot. Hrm, I'm interested though... how did meeting them come about? It came off pretty easily actually. They played at a college in my hometown when I was home from school on a break. A buddy of mine went there and was a member of the security for the show. He got us backstage and we were just kind of wandering around after the show, ran into the band and started shooting the shit with them. They were very friendly, just a little bit out there, which after listening to their music I guess should have been expected. I still think that their first few albums were way ahead of their time. "I Hear the Rain" remains one of my favorite songs to this day, and the entire first album holds up after almost 20 years.

Allman Brothers Band - Live at Fillmore East. In my opinion this is the definitive live album and double album. Duane Allman shows on this album why he should be forever included anytime anyone mentions the greatest guitar players.

I've been to far too many concerts to list, but have met the following.... The Violent Femmes - very weird dudes. I think one of them was hitting on my friend who was maybe 16 at the time. Matthew Sweet - He was a trip. He let us hang out on his bus and party the whole night.

"The Daily Show. Where more people get their news than probably should."

I may be against the war... and I know this sounds strange, but I HATE peace protesters... especially the young MTV watching jackasses that get all of their news from the Daily Show and Rolling Stone magazine I call them pseudo-hippies, in case you wonder the next time I throw that reference out (I haven't said that in a while though). If you protest against child labor in countries that you can't find on a map, you might be a pseudo-hippie. Interesting how this person's face is hidden by the sign. Real brave, douche... We used to call those kids "hempies" when I went to school. They were usually characterized by wearing a lot of hemp products, listening to Phish and then driving the SUVs their rich parents bought them to random protests for things that they knew nothing about.

Chris Paul will be a star. The kid has got amazing game.

I heard Sapp went to the Raiders. Anyone know the terms of the deal? And, whoever thinks the Giants are going to be good is on crack. Their big offensive line pickups were rejects from Tampa that they've been trying to get rid of for 3 years. So, the Giants still have no O-line, a quarterback who is going to personally cost them 4 or 5 games by playing ineptly and a running back who can't get the ball near the goal line because everyone is afraid he'll fumble it away.

Huh, I thought that someone else liked the Arena Football League as much as I did. Guess I was wrong.
