They're showing the reruns on some weird channel called TV One. I've caught a few. The episode where Rapaport made his class read the book "Nigger" and was then surprised by the controversy it caused was probably my favorite.

When Michael Rapaport became the focus it went downhill. My roommates and I used to watch this before Monday Night Football. I have no idea why, but it was enjoyable.

I thought that they had just said he died upon the crash and Ben stole his identity. I don't think that they went any further into it than that, and that explanation may have come from Ben, so of course it has to be taken with a grain.

I wonder if there is any significance to the ones who they say survived the crash, but died on the island. It seems random to say that 8 survived the crash, but then 3 died on the island. Unless it was just to make it seem more realistic that some would die on a deserted island.

I actually don't think it would have mattered either way. If you look at Daughtrey, it's not like anyone forgets he was on American Idol. I don't think that he benefitted by losing, just from having good catchy pop rock songs written for him, which if Cook gets, he'll be fine.

Cheers had a pretty great long run too. It all depends on the writers. This year was a little weaker, IMO, but they should be able to bounce back hopefully.

Have any of the Idol debut songs ever not featured "reaching for the sky" or "achieving your dreams"? Why they bother to force that on the nation escapes me. I thought Cook was better last night. Archuleta's version of "Don't Let the Sun" was well sung, but exactly the same and really he brought nothing to the table with it. And I hate his version of Imagine.

The NBA really needs to put in a flopping foul. Now. It happens all over the league now, but the Spurs for whatever reason seem to be the biggest culprits (probably coached that way by Pop, as it is a good strategy until called). The second offensive foul on Paul where he slightly touched Bowen, then it looked like someone shot Bowen was sad. Also, even Duncan is in on the act now.

I think I saw "Wilco-esque" (or some variation of that) in Time Magazine this week. I cried a little on the inside.

Also, they just made the comment that it was a good substitution to put Rondo back in for Cassell. Without pointing out that putting Sam I Am in the game is killing the Celtics.

Things are setting up for the Flyers to get destroyed in the finals again by Detroit. That was fun last time.

I'm not sure what that means, but I think that of everyone who was on the Costas "Town Hall" thing Leitch was by far the most reasonable and well spoken. Except for Mose. Who ruled as always.

Yay Flyers! I actually thought that was a fairly well called game. Richards boarding was questionable, and there was definitely a cheap knee thrown the other way, but nothing too bad. The last 7 minutes were quite a roller coaster too. If you're scared Joey, get a dog!

Braylon Edwards was there questioning his agent's judgment. I think that Leitch did a good job (especially for someone who lives in his mom's basement (msm LOL)). Basically the whole segment showed how desparate and afraid of change Bissinger is (and really mass media as a whole). Newspapers aren't failing because there are blogs that swear on them. Newspapers are failing because they haven't adapted yet. When Leitch said only people over 50 check the newspaper to get the scores, he couldn't have been more accurate. Really, the best sports writing I've read over the past year has all been from blogs. To pretend that they are all just dick and fart jokes is so far off base. But the dick and fart jokes are fun too.

Hey Kinetic, Neil Diamond owns your face. They had plenty to work with, don't blame Neil that these no talent ass clowns fucked it up. I think that the bottom obviously is some combo of Castro, Brooke and Syesha. Castro might be the odd man out this week.

I guess it's that he's easily marketable to pre-teen girls. Syesha is working it.
