Only match on the show that looks good to me is the main. Anyway, I have a question: What is up with all of these short Punk/Raven/whoever tags? They bring in some mystery guy each week, this time it was Sabu, and then they have a 4-6 minute tag match. Why can't we have a 10 minute match if it's hyped a week in advance?
-
Not to mention the big match with Daniels down the line.

He said what people have been saying here in this forum for months.

Punk or nobody anytime soon. If London is released soon, it could be him.
-
Give me a break. The guy is fucking awesome, and easily remains a top 5 worker in the world. Everything he has lost in speed (not much) he makes up for in smartness. He's still INCREDIBLE.

For the new ones, once this whole thing gets rolling, I'm told they will remain exclusive to RFV for 3 months for us hardcore fans, and then go to the stores.
-
PLus, if TNA dies, Japan will swallow up Daniels, Punk, and Styles, and we wouldn't get to see them in RoH.
-
It would be cool if they let an underdog win the BR at Mania and give Chavo a run for his money, instead of blowing Rey-Chavo. Yeah, this is me dreaming of London winning the Battle Royale.

"Assault Weapons" ban picks up GOP support
Michrome replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Well, Lincoln Chafee is a RINO, so I don't really count him. If they'd actually define the assault weapons ban, instead of making it a ban on ugly looking weapons, I'd at least give it some thought. -
Just as a bump, I have reviews of 1/4/04 (Tokyo Dome), 2/1 TV taping, and the 2/15 Sumo Hall heavyweight tournament up at that link. NJ seems to be on a roll as of late, lots of good shows.

I am doing NJ reviews of the new shows in a log of sorts here. I now have IWTV, because I need my Danielson fix, and I'll be reviewing the new shows to hopefully help people decide what to get.
-
It's mind boggling that they keep letting Daniels go on 3-week long NJPW tours, as though there's nothing they could use him for. I have IWTV, so I still get to see him, but it's still stupid. Might as well use him while he's in the US, since they apparently can't be bothered to keep him here.

Hilarious. Pure gold. Show could be decent. If the 3rd guy is Lynn or Daniels, it should be good.
-
They do have good comedy matches. I'd rather watch a comedy match between these 2 than a regular match between 90% of the TNA roster. It should be fun.

Steven Bryant's report to UPW 5th Anni Show
Michrome replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Has he gotten roughly 4 zillion times better than he was in WCW? God he was fucking horrible there. -
The article ignores key things, like the fact that Goldberg is # 1 on the WWE's international marketing list, and the fact that his merchandise sells like nuts. Goldberg should have been a homerun for the WWE, and they blew it by having him do comedy with The Rock.

Some Sam Goodies, Best Buys, FYEs have the first one now. Some don't. If you go in and ask them to order it for you, they will.
-
This wasn't even remotely good. So many dumb, illogical 3-way spots that made no sense at all.
-
Obviously there was misinformation. Everyone who has bought it has said that it's the whole show, minus two matches, and about 2 hours long. I trust them over LRS
-
Yes, that's it. Some places are selling for 9.99, but Ive heard of it going for 6.99 elsewhere.

In 2001, the top 1% earned 17.53% of all income, and paid over 33% of all income taxes. How did they get such a huge break?

Shawn's torn ACL changes everything. HHH is winning.

City of San Francisco sues State of California
Michrome replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Some conservative group in California really needs to start handing out right to carry licenses to everybody. -
Angle popping up for the superplex 58 minutes into an ironman match. Just a rotten cherry on top of a pile of shit.

BPS, the situation is so clearly different now. For one, the product was fresh back then--there were good matches on the normal shows, something that doesn't happen anymore. Before, people like Syxx2001 would sit here all night arguing in favor of TNA...now there's just apathy. For a while, there were huge OAO TNA threads...now maybe 1 or 2 people contribute, if ANY. Meltzer reports a huge dropoff in feedback too--they are clearly losing buyers. Companies exist to make money. As soon as Panda realizes that this little venture will never make money, they will pull the plug.
