    Cool finisher, horrible name

Watching Badd/Pillman from FB 95, I loved the announcers: "Badd needs to hit one of his big maneuevers and put this one away...perhaps the Badd Mood or the Tutti Frutti."
  7. UseTheSledgehammerUh

    Cool finisher, horrible name

Holly never called it the Hollycaust. That was an IWC name. The Big Show's "Hog Log".
  8. UseTheSledgehammerUh

    Cool finisher, horrible name

Test's renaming the Roll the Dice as the "Test Drive". 2 Cold Scorpio's 450 Splash being named the "Diss That Don't Miss" in WCW.

Most forgettable stint in a promotion

"One Man Gang in WCW in the mid 90s" Pffft. Gang was a cornerstone of the Dungeon of Doom and easily won the U.S. Title at a PPV dark match (?!?!), the same title the likes of Benoit and Booker T have to have 7 matches over.

Benoit, due to his win last night, will end up the 2005 winner, I believe.

TSM's WORST POSTERS - VOLUME ONE

Matt's cool with me as long as no red dragon t-shirts are there.

    OAO Smackdown Thread For 12/30/05

The "spot" in question, I believe, was Nitro sliding/crawling over to cut off Rey from access to the corner and making the tag. It was realistic and a nice touch.

    WCW PPV 2000

Booker T Vs. Sting - Spring Stampede 2000 BTW, that Ladder Match from New Blood Rising is AWFUL, full of blown spots and just really, really sucked. Much like the entire PPV.

    WWF/E Tidbits from the past

Hunter actually addresses that situation (and the fans speculating on his return and being dissapointed) on the WWE DVD "Triple H: The Game".

Most forgettable stint in a promotion

Chris Benoit's few tryout matches in WWE in 1995 (I think). A clip of one (Vs. Holly) is on his DVD. Rip Rogers rebounding from the demise of "The Cartel" in the GWF in 1991 to a few months with WCW in 1993, including a ***PAY PER VIEW VICTORY*** at Starrcade (?!?!?!?!) GWF Tag Champ "Conan" Chris Walker getting promoted heavily in the WWF in late 91-early 92 with vignettes on Superstars and Primetime and then wrestling maybe 1 or 2 TV matches and disappearing. Jerry Lynn and Tajiri working Raw in August 97. Xanta Claus - besides the net fans, I'm sure he's unheard of. "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton's appearences in ECW as they folded. Psychosis returns to ECW in 2000.

TSM's WORST POSTERS - VOLUME ONE

Hey, what's everyone up to? The worst poster I ever saw was Dave O'Neil, Journalist...but he hasn't been here in ages or was banned. So I guess I'll go with CarnivalIzComing, the Jeff Jarrett mega mark. His content is alright, I guess, but anyone that loves Jarrett that much just bugs me. However, in his credit, like the best of heels, he actually seems to believe in what he preaches.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

Those sub-1000 crowds was an experiment WCW was trying. Running small shows every 2 weeks or so with one big name to draw and letting younger/lower card talent work longer matches.

Smackdown's No Way Out PPV *Main Event* Revealed

Who cares that Batista is 40? He doesn't look it, and everyone was cool with his whole gimmick before they got anal and started the "40 year old guy!" bullshit. He pops a crowd, bangs hot managers, and still has the same "Pimp Suits". And the fact we're speculating about the main event a few months before is why they should do Taker/Batista. There's nothing else to do. It's Mania. It's supposed to be special. If you think about, Batista going over the UNBEATABLE Undertaker would be much like Hulk going over the UNBEATABLE Andre. While the sequel is never as good, or as hyped, it still would mark quite a "WrestleMania Moment" that would never die. No one gives Batista a chance, even the smarks, and in the end he wins, and finally proves himself to be a major figure and capable of carrying the company.

    2005 WWE Television Win-Loss Record & Standings

I would imagine when the time is ready I'll start it. And it is still 2005. Not sure if Raw plans on a 12/26 show or Smackdown plans on a 12/30 show.

Man cries at a Wrestling Convention

Barron (yes you're unblocked, I actually wanna see your writeup on the SNL from a few nights ago), I think the random "It's still Real to Me, Damnit!" could catch on as a fun chant during a blown spot at indy shows. So keep yelling it.

The Story of XTREME PRO WRESTLING

Barber, personal thoughts about the company aside, you sure put a lot of work into this. So good job. Are you releasing this as a DVD, magazine, or a website?

    A Cereal Mascot Battle Royale

C-3PO from Star Wars' "C-3POs" cereal would be the generic comedy entrant, ala The Cat in the 2004 Rumble. he'd be easily eliminated by one of the favorites after a few crowd giggles.

    Tim White's "Suicide" skit

Clips of Bossman's hanging were shown during the PPV. And Lawler actually said "Remember when Hell in the Cell ended Mick Foley's career!" during the ME.

    The Chronicles of Narnia

Just remember who the first one to use that here was when it explodes. Also, anyone remember Cartman's book review of tLWatW? I'm going to see this on Monday. I've heard good things, and I JUST saw Harry Potter 4 and was slightly dissapointed that while it was really good, it wasn't as cool to me as 3. So I wanna go see another "magic" movie.
