    Matches you love

But not even DiBiase's post-match antics were enough to stop Boss Man from overcoming the monster that was Akeem.

WWE news on the Ultimate Warrior DVD

Eh, I hate all 3, but Warrior and Goldberg were more exciting during their peaks and had better matches (cough, carryjobs) than Batista has yet to have. Batista owns them in storylines and coolness by far, though.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

Didn't matter. Flair, who was WCW's savior in 1993, loved Austin. Austin also went over WCW GOLDEN BOY (and quite unbeatable U.S. Champ) Dustin Rhodes in TWO STRAIGHT FALLS in their biggest show of the year. Flair would've elevated Austin.

    Best "Total Package"?

Tom Zenk. Before you bash me...he formed good teams with Pillman and Martel. He worked good matches against heavyweight. Take a look at him get an AWESOME effort out of Luger at Starrcade 91. He worked technical guys well (Muta, Anderson). He worked fliers well (Eaton, Pillman). He could kinda cut decent promos. Plus, what better way to PSYCHOLOGICALLY intimidate your opponent than being announced as... "And...Voted The Most Sexiest Wrestler in WCW...The Z-Man!"

    Matches you love

Liger & Wellington Vs. Pillman & Benoit - Clash 19 Rude Vs. Steamboat - Beach Blast 92 THE ROCKERS Vs. THE LEGION OF DOOM - WWF Superstars late 91 Animal has Michaels up for a powerslam. Jannetty comes in to do his "dropkick Shawn in the back and make him fall on Animal" traditional spot...but for like the first time ever, HE F's up (storyline) and dropkicks Animal (who spun around), sending Michaels to be slammed double! 1-2-3! Breakup further teased. I just loved seeing my fav team get a title shot against unbeatable LOD.

BTW, MikeSC, Warrior and Goldberg were better workers than Batista. Don't let the suit fool you.

WWE news on the Ultimate Warrior DVD

    1) How does Warrior insulting the crippled and being a homophobe give a reason to create a DVD just to bury someone? Austin beats women. Likely, a majority of WWE wrestlers have been total scumbags. Do they all deserve the same fate? Austin beating women has nothing to do with THE WWF. Warrior HOLDING A PPV UP FOR MONEY DOES. Warrior failing drug tests does. Warrior not knowing how to work does. Warrior's lack of heat mid-90s to forward does. Austin's personal beating women schedule has NOTHING to do with wrestling or the WWF. This DVD ripped Warrior's WRESTLING CAREER, because he's a fucking prick. 2) I'll be in the minority on this since I'm a cold bitch... but, if you're going to show the hatred that Heenan showed towards Warrior, you're fair game for anything verbal that comes your way. He didn't show hatred, he used examples (which were backed up with video footage) to explain why Warrior was a horrible worker. 3) Hypocritical? Let's see. HHH saying anyone is unprofessional. WWE saying Warrior was only in the business for the money, while you have Hulk Hogan right fucking there. WWE ragging on Warrior for changing his name, and not mentioning that he WON the case in court. WWE yammering on about Warrior's horrible workrate, considering the amount of useless lugs they've pushed down our throats. Can really go on and on with this one. Triple H is one of the best workers in the world. It's not 2002 anymore, get a new reason to hate WWE. Would Benoit's title win have meant as much if he made, say, HBK or Big Show tap out at WM 20? Hogan, as far as we know, never HELD UP THE COMPANY FOR ***MONEY***. He never blatantly NO-SHOWED advertised events, or PPV EVENTS (IYH: Int. Incident). He was in the business for money, like many workers are. But he paid his dues. He worked Japan. He worked WWF. He worked AWA. He kept going and going. Warrior ran away at the first sign that he wasn't as over as Hogan. And about the name thing...Warrior's name was MADE in the WWF. He briefly worked in WCCW as the "Dingo Warrior", but no one knew who he was until he came to Titan. It's their intellectual property and they deserved to keep it. ___________________________ BTW, how would you feel, if in 1998 WCW, Benoit put the Crossface on, say, Goldberg, at STARRCADE...and Goldberg simply threw him off in 1 second and squashed him. I don't think Warrior was supposed to no-sell the Pedigree. Just kick out. It was absolutely pathetic.

WWE news on the Ultimate Warrior DVD

I thought they put over Warrior's strengths while recognizing his obvious weaknesses, and then revealing some "insider" things, quite nicely. It was boring, but he wasn't totally buried. How were they being hypocritical? 'Cause Ross said the 80's WWF was full of hosses? That's not hypocrital, find a dictionary. I'd love to see your rationale. Every "burial" comment about the Warrior, from his lack of drawing power, to his terrible scummy business moves, to his not being appreciative (and that's DIBIASE, not WWF saying this) of the WWF jobbing Hogan, Andre, DiBiase, Savage, Honky, Rude, etc. to him convincingly, is TRUE.

WWE news on the Ultimate Warrior DVD

I got the DVD from Wal-Mart for 15.93 today. It made me sleepy. I laughed during the first long Warrior promo. The extras are horrible, the main feature burial is boring, but so was the worker its about so I should've known better. 2/10 on the WWE DVD Scale.

Would you purchase a new WWF Theme Music CD?

Not really a question of whether you'd buy one, since I know a ton of us just DL the songs a week before it comes out. But rather, is there a need for a new WWE Theme Music CD? The last one that came out was horribly outdated, and had quite terrible tracks. However, there's actually some new and/or popular songs that could be included, but is it too soon? A few months more, perhaps? Mania time? I know some of this stuff can be DL'd, but its still tracks I'd like on CD: - Batista's Saliva Theme - Eddie's Current Theme - New Mysterio Theme (Not "Bukake 619" or whatever its called, hopefully they'll release a remixed one) - Masters - MNM - Rob Conway (!) - Mr. Kennedy...Kennedy - Randy Orton Slap on a Cena track? __________________________ If there's not enough tracks, perhaps the WWE needs to get off their ass and put out another Anthology disc, and put these songs on the third disc, along with stuff like Benoit's theme, Triple H's theme, Raw theme, etc.

WWE Fantasy Season Five is available

Wow, my York Foundation kicked ass with a good SD! team hopefully working. Question: How do you get the standings to go in numerical order, all I see is alphabetical? And the OVERALL standings, where are they?

Raven out of Bound for Glory

I remember when I posted in the "Why Jarrett Sucks" type thread that JJ is much more reliable and thus should be the champion, not Raven, people went "NO NO RAVEN IS SUPER RELIABLE AND OVER". Pfft.

When was the last **** match...

Last 5-Star Match? Angle/Benoit Rumble 03. NOTHING has been as good as this match.

WWE Fantasy Season Five is available

No, they do not count. My team did well. The Big Show with appearence and last match points. Chloe with an appearence. Chris Masters with victory and finisher. Edge with main event victory and appearence. Rob Conway with victory and finisher. Trish Stratus with defend title victory.

    IMPACT Diatribe for 10/8/05

The first glaring error I noticed was Dames saying AMW was in two 5-star matches. It made me laugh a lot.

The OAO RAW thread - 10/10/05

I find Batista's World Heavyweight Title a million times more important than Cena's. I mean, since late last year, the guy has gone over World Champ HHH 3 times, WWE Champ JBL 2 times, WWE Champ Eddie Guerrero, World Champ Chris Benoit, World Champ Randy Orton...plus he tossed WWE Champ Cena out of the Rumble. He's owned every top-level WWE star. It's amazing.

Edge should just tell the has-been 1996 World Champions (Angle NCAA Champion, Show WCW Champion, HBK WWF Champion) to step aside and have a three-way death match, while he uses the title shot he already has. "Bank on it!"
