Jim Ross possibly leaving RAW announce team
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
They could get Robert Englund dressed as Freddy Krueger, Jason Lee, and Lindsay Lohan to be the announcers...but as long as the storylines, wrestlers, in-ring product, music, PPVs, and emotional attachment all SUCK, who cares? -

He was never in any danger. It's like Triple H scared to death in the ring with Batista about to blugeon him with a chair...but all along he knows Flair is going to turn and fix things. Both examples of fantasy...not real life, remember. -
Oh my the RF suspense is killing me.

Palpatine went from grimacing in near death pain to sneaky smile in like a second. He was faking. Are you dumb? -
We have one already. JoeDirt's thread. Your fault for not contributing. I brought y'all Harts/Team Austin way back when.

"And we still gettin' rowdy...Odelay! Oh, you didn't know? That we the 3LK." Theme Music Review The Good - AJ Styles - Good, fits his character. - 3 Live Kru - Excellent. Say what you will about the stale stable, the song is good. - Fallen Angel - Very good, made the Slammiversary "led up to this" 3 way package great. - Jeff Jarrett - Annoying, just like him. Guilty pleasure. Sounds bush league, sounds horrible...but its still great, I dunno. The Passable - Lance Hoyt - Eh...kind of generic, but one of these better ones. Better than a lot of WWE songs. - The Naturals - VERY generic, but some touching it up could fix things. - Team Canada - Could be a little edgier. - AMW - Needs to go. Generic. - Sabu - Not much else to do. - Samoa Joe - Not very good at all, but its new and NEEDS updating. Not loud and sinister enough. The Bad - TEAM 3D - Horrible, horrible. PUSH UP, BUTCH UP, BUSHOUT! - RHINO - Zzzz... - RAVEN - Doesn't work with new-look ECW Raven, reminds me of shitty WCW Raven matches. - MATT BENTLEY - Makes me want to surf. - PRIMETIME - Beyond awful. - SHARK BOY - Was this made out of a MIDI file? - JEFF HARDY - Jesus. - KEVIN NASH - It sounds like a mouse is sneaking around. Horrid. - KIP JAMES - It's not 1997. - CHRIS SABIN - Beginning works. Rest is too generic. - MONTY BROWN - Doesn't work for him, horrid cover. Looped shit. - ALEX SHELLEY - Needs a cover of his indies Von Blondie song. This sucks. Generic. - APOLO - Oh my God. Ears. Broken. - DAVID YOUNG - But who cares... -
"We hafta save this food for all the starvin' children!" "I was just makin' sure it tasted good for all the starvin' children!" I thought the U2 cameo thing on Entourage was cool. Some of their music is alright, if not severely dated. I don't think their stuff today is very good. "Beautiful Day" reminds me of Triple H juicing, "Stuck in a Moment" is awful, "Vertigo" is embarassing, IMO. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. "I Will Follow" is a cool song and reminds me of "The Last American Virgin", however, so it scores points.

I get OLN, and there's a Pittsburgh game, plus one other coming soon. The intermission report/pre-game commentators are interesting, to say the least. "Remember folks, OLN will donate $1,000 for every live goal scored in the months of October on our network to the Hurricane fund...up to 25 goals!"
-
Oh man this is not good. 4 straight by NY, 5-3 lead.
-
Flyers dominating Rangers, but sloppiness at end of 2nd period and a shaky powerplay (1 for 7, one 5-on-3 goal and a two blown 5-on-3s back to back) have the Rangers in it, 3-2. Mike Richards had an awesome goal.

Whoever thinks he'll see Triple H "win a Rumble one of these years"...he's already one one, and it sucked.
-
To new fans, maybe. We just got a giant HDTV a month ago so I've been waiting for this game forever.

I can't wait til Abreu gets ranked like #1 or #3 and he's dealt in the offseason so the Phillies can worry about Big Injured Thome moving back into the lineup. I dislike Abreu, but the shit that's been rumored to occur involving Abreu and Wagner gone, Howard to the OF, Big Jim back to first is really awful.
-
Psyched for Flyers return tonight. Last game I went was Game 2, 1st round against the Devils of the last season. What a cool opener the NHL setup, 2 big markets.

"I dread the six weeks that we have to play Philly, Atlanta, Cincinatti, and Minnesota on the road, and Pittsburgh and Minnesota at home." I think the Pack goes 1-5 during that stretch. You're right.

What year did WWE start to lose their edge?

You can argue that the "Who TRIED to run over Goldberg?" brief storyline from a late-Spring 2003 Raw also made Goldberg look bad, by making him talk a lot and having to be in the ring with the likes of Lance Storm (good talent, but nowhere near ME level). -
TNA is still not offering anything new. They need to have something that is UNIQUE to their company. Have a Gauntlet, an Ultimate X, Six Sides of Steel...SOMETHING.
-
0.8 isn't very good for their most hyped show ever, a lot of advertisement on Spike, and months of internet hype, IMO.

How long does Matt Hardy have left in the WWE?
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Matt was pretty damn over as a face during Homecoming last night. And the end of the match was awesome too, with the sleazeball couple cheating and Matt being forced to watch his dream be taken away. I'm game for him to stick around if he keeps his working shoes on. -

Updated for Homecoming, though not much changes. Cena takes over #1. -
The HBK Vs. Angle Iron Man was probably the best of their 3 matches due to the fact that the match wasn't as fake-looking, poorly sold, or ridiculously contrived as WM 22, and also that it was a draw, since I don't think either man is superior.
