Sorry accidental Tenta re-post.
-
Tenta posted this a week ago... "Hello everyone. I'm sorry for such a long absence. I'm doing pretty good right now. I have been going through radiation, and will receive my last treatment on Monday. I saw my doctor on Thursday, and he actually said he expected radiation to kill the small tumor in my hip area which showed up in June. He actually used the word "cure" as well so I have a lot of hope. The tumor in my lung as of the last scans is gone. Thank you for all your prayers, and keep them coming, as it is looking like God just may give me an extension after all! Well just wanted you all to know, I'm still here. 'Quake"

Rumored sub-main tonight: Jim Neidhart, Jimmy Hart, Danny Davis (managed by Bret) against Ricky Morton, Tommy Rich, and Terry Taylor (managed by returning Terri) HART Vs. YORK Only ONE Foundation can there be.
-
Do you guys think anyone not hyped on wwe.com will appear, as a nice surprise?
-
What's sad is the growing list of people that couldn't appear for nostalgia value... "You know the Big Boss Man will make ya walk the line!" Boss Man puts the ball and chain on Angle's leg and leads to a countout, helping Bossman's new friend Eugene win a match. Masterlock Challenge Chris Masters gloats after having defeated "Former legendary member of the Four Horsemen" Paul Roma in a Masterlock Challenge, only for HERCULES to come up and lock in the dreaded full nelson on Masters from behind.
-
Will the entire show be streaming? Or just the commercials?
-
Koko B. Ware needs to do this tonight, and pop that 11.0 rating share. Sometimes love, sounds like a fight It sounds like an argument It sounds just like A PILEDRIVER!!!!!!!!!!! ...... Sometimes love feels just right! It feels so real It feels just like A PILEDRIVER!!!!!!!!!! You're right beside herrrr!!! She's got you hot wirrreddd!! HIGHER AND HIGHER!!!! Piledriver!!!!! _________________ Imagine this with the current Raw stars "playing" instruments. It would totally induce the awesomeness and camp needed. __________________ Just please, do SOMETHING cool. I mean, could you imagine if Cade & Murdoch were out there doing a heatless interview, blah blah...and "HERE COMES THE AX, and HERE COMES THE SMASHER" hit. Jesus. Out of the Box, tonight, WWE...or you're losing a fan for a long time. Last chance.
-
See, that would be something outside the box and cool. Vince thinks something like that, however, would be lame and "not cool". We're WRESTLING MARKS. How cool does it have to be? So instead, we get Chavo Vs. Shelton, a heatless battle of de-pushed lower-carders.

Slick and Hacksaw screams 1990 Superstars main event. "HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I will mark out for... Don't go messin' with a country boy! My first meal was a bass she killed! A bass she killed! A bass she killed! My first meal was a bass she killed! Vince should shoot and tell viewers not be alarmed by Hillbilly Jim's theme, as NWA-TNA wrestlers will not be coming out.

Question: Let's say Angle/HBK is awful. Your spirits are down. JR announces "Right when we return, a WWE legend will come down THAT ramp and speak his mind!" They go to commercial. When they return, what happens next to make you mark out. Can be an instrument, a quote heard, anything...who returns, how? Mine would be a drumroll. People suspect Slaughter or a generic drumroll. Of course, it cuts into JIVE SOUL BRO. Slick returns, flanked by THE WARLORD, AKEEM carrying a nightstick, and PAUL ROMA (wearing goofy sunglasses), also carrying a chain for HERC. They dance and get into a brawl with Carlito, Masters, and Angle, and a classic SSeries 8-man is set for later with Team Slick against Team Bischoff.

Um, wwe.com announced HBK/Angle would open the show this morning. I posted it here a page ago.
-
HBK/Angle starts off the show and should end in a draw, methinks.
-
This Smackdown six-way can't be anything other than a Gauntlet Match or Elimination Chamber. And having an EC on free TV would be horrible booking.
-
Poor Taylor is just so cute, though.

SNL viewers, much like anyone without HDTV, are tools.

ChrisM, I'd have to research the wins, but I can assure you it's accurate. The WWE has always protected Heidenreich VERY well, including in his first major program with Taker @ SSeries 04, kicking out of the "Last Ride". -
I did enjoy seeing Billy Wagner rip Marlon Byrd a new one, today.
-
You'll "Macias" next year, Phillies fans.
-
Here we go, 3 outs left...
-
Go away Barron, no one cares about your predicted woes.
-
The end of impact was horrible, with washed-up ex WWF, ex WCW employee after another being paraded out to terrible music. Other than that, it was decent.

ArkhamGlove, my MultiMedia class just used that image of your pipe in an explanation of PhotoShop eye tricks. That picture isn't real, it's been heavily PhotoShopped to be more eye-pleasing. I'm in, BTW. -
The Chiefs ability to cover big-time WR threats is absolutely pathetic. However, the Eagles ability to stop good runs and short pass 1st downs isn't very good. This could be very close (Eagles by 2-4 pts) or a blowout (Chiefs by 20), depending on whether McNabb stays healthy and the Birds can deal with the stadium and not make errors. ____________ Plus, this week, it's the debut of TODD "I See London, I See" FRANCE

I don't see how any kind of argument can be made that Carpenter isn't better than Willis. And I'll be the first to admit Willis had an excellent year, minus a few very small rough spots. Carpenter was more dominant while Willis was more of a leader, IMO. Plus Carpenter is in the playoffs and Willis' last big loss, came in the 9th inning and resulted in his team's meltdown and dropping out of the WC hunt.
