Hey, you're lucky The 3 Comcast OnDemand matches I have now are: Skipper/Daniels Daniels/Shane/Sabin 20-Man #1 Contender's Gauntlet (Abyss/Killings final two) The Gauntlet was okay. WAY too rushed. I hated how they seemingly had to hit a big spot right before the clock finished counting down. Outlaw/James thing was cool, but James needs to lose the fat jersey. BOTCHED SPOTS GALORE from Primetime/Roode, Abyss multiple times, Killings/Abyss, and a few others. I do not like how Tenay and West cover Abyss' blown spots by using the "tunnel vision" (?!?!) excuse, how "he'll keep trying til he gets it and cant be stopped". 3-Way X-Title match was REALLY good. But the crowd hurt it. They were dead until the final minutes. And the two female valets (Traci, Trinity) were horrendous, both in-ring and looks. I know Traci usually looks SMOKIN in her photo shoots and on TV, but something was wrong there. Havent watched XXX battle yet.

LOL, already got an assignment due. Was gonna just go from 5-7, then head off to my friends "OC watching party" thing.

I've got a class from 5-9:30 EST. Any good excuse ideas to leave early? Besides the obvious crap.

Dean/Scotty is criminally overrated. *** at best.

The last time stopped CALLING IT "In Your House" officially was Unforgiven 1998. It still said it on many posters and such, including TV graphics, however. But it was "Next month, at Unforgiven..." As opposed to "Next month, at In Your House: D-Generation X"... -
Fish may have the WC share by end of the evening.

Not that she can work or was ever any kind of ratings draw, but she's pleasing to the eyes. Credit: TNAWrestling.com

"Saito is getting too old for this." Starrcade 1995 begs to differ! Saito rules. Push Tatum & Price to the moon. Austin should be a mid-carder. Find the Lightning Kid and Benoit.

Two recently released stars buying tix?

"these were probably the two released people that WWE regarded highest" Or maybe the 18-time World Tag Champs that just main evented a PPV in June... -
Alright, I lumped him in because I didn't want to lump shitty Tina Fey in with Fallon, as per the usual. Although I enjoyed Horatio's one sketch where he portrayed the little kid from Jerry Maguire.

WWF Match Review WWF Saturday Night's Main Event (1989) Announcers: Vince McMahon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) Vs. The Blue Blazer Note: This marks the debut of the "Million Dollar Championship" belt. The Blazer comes down to a nice pop and does his trademark backflip into the ring...and is immediately LEVELED by a DiBiase clothesline! DiBiase works over Blazer in the corner, before taking the masked man down with an elbow as his own cape is tangled around his ankles! Scoops slam & three elbowdrops by Ted, as he then taunts the crowd. DiBiase shoots Blazer in, but the richest man in the business gets cradled for a 2-count! Backslide by DiBiase is reversed for another nearfall! DiBiase regains control by raking the eyes, and follows up with a clothesline. With the Blazer staggered, Ted actually connects (!) with his trademark second-rope axehandle. More time wasted taunting the crowd, but DiBiase scores with a beautiful vertical suplex. DiBiase whips Blazer in...a backdrop is reversed, as Blazer flips himself over Ted's back! Amazing spot for 1989! Blazer dropkicks DiBiase over the top rope! Blazer gets a running start and hits a crossbody to the floor through the ropes! Atomic drop sends DiBiase into the ringsteps! We may see a Million Dollar Champion Blazer! Blazer up top, flying bodypress for two! DiBiase sent in for a big back body drop! Two Blazer dropkicks followed by two European uppercuts send DiBiase to the mat. The announcers can sense an upset! Only a two count, however. Blazer whips DiBiase into the ropes and attempts a leapfrog, only to be caught in a 360 powerslam, right in the middle of the ring! DiBiase scores the academic pinfall with one of the best slams in the business, out of nowhere! So close for the Blazer...he gained a nugget of respect, however, from one of the WWF's top stars. Winner in 3:58 via pinfall "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

A whole lot of suck. I wanna see London bump for Kennedy's top-rope Finlay-roll move.

I don't hate Scott Keith, I just don't like his rants. For instance, I never saw Backlash 2000 or Judgment Day 2000 until recently. For the Benoit/Jericho matches, he's like "OMG!! CHRIS BRINGS THE VIOLENCE!! THIS IS CRAZY!!! OMG GERMAN SUPLEX!!! THIS IS CRAZY!!!!!!!" And it overhypes the Judgment Day match, which was like *** if that.

I hate barron because he's a super mark for shitty SNL actors like Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz. Plus he loves Regal.

"It'd be great if wrestlers who were fired just showed up at events as fans." Wasn't that the basis of the nWo angle? -

I have an idea. Three things could happen with Gail signing: 1) Women's Division kick-started. NO ONE WANTS THAT. 2) She manages someone. Silly, no real impact. 3) She gets TNA some ratings through T & A, online pics, hype for her being on Impact in scantily clad whatever. Not likely. So why not... "Fans, let's welcome, here on Impact...to help us kick off our debut on Spike TV...YOU'VE KNOWN HER FROM OTHER ORGANIZATIONS... Gail Kim!" Gail will come out to a decent ovation. Then Samoa Joe comes out and shakes her hand. Then he kicks her in the face as stiff as humanly possible. He delivers a muscle buster, stiffs her in the face a few more times, and chokes her out. Joe makes it clear. Stop BRINGING IN OUTSIDERS. This is his turf. ___________ Gail is eliminated. Spike can bank on Joe kicking the shit out of washed up WWE castaways (castaways, that, in some cases, are more over and talented than the guys we're seeing on Raw nowadays, THATS THE KEY). Builds Joe up into a 1997 "Taz" mode with super heat. Sends a fuck you to WWE. Less money wasted on paying multiple castaways per appearence. ____________ Well that's the best they can do with Kim. You know what would be cool?
-
Maybe she'll wrestle the guys. She's as cut as many of their lower carders.
-
"the Phillies had everything going for them." Until they turned to the worst collection of pinch hitters since... Actually, this is the worst collection of pinch hitters ever assembled.
-
Eh, Kim's initial face push was awful. They tried to win her over with the smarts with forced submission but I wasn't buying. Then again, TNA usually steers clear of women's work so maybe she'll manage someone.
