The opening of Conway's theme is actually the piano music from the beginning of the Ben Folds Five song "Kate"...download it if you don't know it.

I can't watch this match.

I'll always see Matt as that computer nerd who says he is dating a super model. I mean, the guy once had a stable with Crash Holly and Shannon Moore. They couldn't even take the friggin' York Foundation.

Matt's going to somehow have less heat than he did as a jobber soon.

Updated, look out for Booker T and MNM. -
Lamb of God is a horrible, pussy name. It sounds like they're inviting the fans to run down the "sea of death" at the 'fest and take holy communion.

I'd like the washed up 1990's wrestlers at SummerSlam kept to a mimimum. And why would Spike allow Vince to publicly announce the move to USA? Back in 2000, the commentators just mentioned it.

How is Heidenreich and Animal winning the tag titles a tribute to Hawk? "Let's do a tribute for Hawk. We'll give the titles to two horrible workers, one of which is 70, and the other is WrestleCrap! That will honor Hawk by showing him the tag titles he held years ago are worthless props, and tag team wrestling is pure shite!"

Why the hell would anyone put Kane on this week's team? Isn't he reportedly in jail, aka no match, run-in at best? Seems like a waste of cash.

August Jukebox match listing
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
I still love how WCW wrestlers, including legends like Sting, Nash, & Flair, would sell the "mysterious red liquid" that dropped from the ceiling during the new Blood angle. It would hit them and they'd act as if 10,000 bees just stung them and/or they were shot. The announcers sold it as if Sting was somehow in shock, or weighed down from the liquid. Except for that fact that, oh, I dunno, VAMPIRO is soon covered in it and kicking all kinds of ass on all cylinders, I don't get that point of view. Mark Madden: "Eww! Eww!" _________ Jim Ross during Oz/Simmons match: "And there is the Great Wizard..." -

God that Oz/Simmons match is painful. -
They kept using that Puddle of Mudd song to express Ryan's frustration. "Away From Me." Such as when Marissa closes the door on Ryan to stay with Oliver after his "overdose" (which was awesome). "YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm always afraid that you're gone away from me. I'm always afraid that you're lost in somebody. I'm always afraid that you're gone away from me. I'm always afraid that you're lost."

Versus and Reed Red are definately in, Aliens OUT. Sutherland's Body Snatchers in, if everyone agrees it stays. 2 spots left...hoping to have the brackets out to you tonight. I wasn't sure about the cannibal movies, although Holocaust, Ferrox, etc. would be there. I'm going to put Holocaust in, as its been nominated a few times. -
SATURDAY NIGHT at 11 pm is going to be horrible. The timeslot alone will forever typecast them as bush-league. At least when ECW was on Sportschannel at 11 pm, it was local, and wasn't their "big break, all we could get was this" of a National TV deal. Good luck, but that timeslot is going to keep the company non-profitable, IMO. MikeSC, ECW was forced to shit-can all their quality work by TNN, who wouldn't air most of their original programming. To think ECW came up with that "Vs. The Network" storyline as their Best Idea is ridiculous. Their debut show was nothing but a plug for WCW and WWE, basically, as they showed highlight videos of ex-ECW stars who were now working Monday Nights. And an old PPV match. You think Heyman wanted to debut Nationally with that?

Ryan's the fucking man. The one redeeming thing about Season 2 was the fanbase bitching about how the characters weren't being what made them so great in Season 1...and then, at the end, when Ryan fucking loses it and goes to confront Tre, he does the "IM NOT BEING MYSELF, this whole year (season) I've been trying to be someone different" speech, then gets that look in his eye and is off to the big finale.

The OaO Mid-2005 Zombie Movie Tournament
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to dubq's topic in Television & Film
With all due respect to your opinion, I think that would take the fun out of the random-ness of certain matchups. Imagine having a big "WWE Tournament" or "MLB Tournament" and not allowing for inter-brand or inter-league matchups (which are the major draws), and instead limiting the finale to movies we all knew would be there in the end, anyways. -
I saw Bad News Bears...with my mom. Odd choice, but individually/with others we had seen everything else out except The Island, and I fucking hate Scarlet Jo-man-son. Plus, it looked like shit. I expected BNB to be too kid-friendly. This became worse during the terrible kid-oriented previews, including "Barnyard". But that went away easy with the KIDS, not Billy Bob, being very vile and rude. Nothing beats "Cocaine" at the Hooters. It wasn't LOL funny, but had its moments. Love baseball, so I liked it.
