Leavin' for Panama City FL on Friday

Hey, I'm back. BTW, hotel was already paid for. $400 was enough. Had a great time, access to their big clubs (Club La Vela, Spinnakers, Latitudes (or Lot-of-Dudes as I saw it), Harpoon Harry's, Hammerhead Fred's. So many guys, it sucked, like, securing a woman was quite difficult. Make all the "gay frat boyparty " jokes you want, but I honestly missed Jersey and how easy it was to dance with a girl at a party, whereas in Panama City, there was a goddamn 8:1 guy:girl ratio. Highlights included fucking a girl from Florida, and then doing the same with a girl from my school that I met down there. Food highlights were "Dirty Dick's Crab Shack/Shop", where they had awesome pasta/stuffed shrimp/crab meals. Other days, hit up Taco Bell, KFC, and Hooters (most times). My Hooters waitress refused to serve me the next day, due to the fact that I yelled at her, cursing, apparently, when I was shot down and was piss-ass drunk the first night, and she was bartending at the club next door. Also, on that first night, I was pissing outside on the front entrance, RIGHT near the juiced up bouncer, and was quite lucky I didn't get killed. Some kid grabbed my by the shoulder and spun me around to try to help me and got soaked...my bad. 3-Story Beer Funnels were around, good stuff. South Carolina girls we got naked by shutting them out in pong, they then ran around the hotel. Drank lots of vodka/soda drinks, many Coronas, and Yeunglings. Good trip, god damn the south has a lot of "Waffle Houses". And I got to ride the mechanical bull! Later. -

DDP was the lesser of two evils to Savage, who wanted Nash's death (and later title belt). -

Haha, not you. -
True, some people may have been shafted, and undeserving people like Catfish Hunter are in, but that's life.

Well at No Way Out 1998 he was Aztec Warrior Vs. Bradshaw. At WM 14 (next month) he was Flashy Outfit Riding with Gennifer Flowers. Backlash he sung with "Sawyer Brown". -

I gotta good one. Jeff Jarrett, Jan-Feb 1998, just having returned from WCW, was the NWA North American Champion in a stupid NWA-Invasion shitty angle. Aztecs Tights Jeff. His theme music used to start off (Holly-esque) with: "There's All the Great Superstars in the WWF, but then there's ME!" and then his music played. Please tell me someone remembers this. -
GWF... The Dark Patriot FINALLY defeats The Patriot, who was the unbeatable Hulk hogan of the company, by using the dastardly INK TO THE EYE, and wins the GWF North American Title. This would be shown in replays like every week for a year.

Uh... I'd say DDP's speech was over, considering thousands of Canucks chanted it at the end of his match with Christian at WM 18. -
I agree. Man, that "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" out of nowhere was just perfect. Plus, in storyline, Ted DiBiase is responsible for The Undertaker's Debut, Kama The Supreme Fighting Machine, The Hebner Clone, Hogan's 5-Year Title Reign Ends, and Turned Babyface Tatanka Heel. JBL has thus far produced: Amy Weber.

Don't forget... Purchasing Dusty Rhodes' polka-dot wearing #1 fan and apparent gold-digging trash: Ted Handing Dusty & Dustin their ass at the same time on PPV: Ted Popping a NYC crowd like CRAZY during a match with VIRGIL: Ted Better mic skills? DiBiase (88-91) or JBL (Survivor Series '04 - present)

Fuck the Veterans Committee. Did these guys get more hits or stats since the last time they got REJECTED? No. So it's a joke.

The face turn: Page stayed heel with the triad into the summer. Heel in fall, losing to Goldberg and defeating Flair at Fall Brawl and Havoc, respectively. At Mayhem, he saved Kimberly from the psychotic David Flair, then beat David at Starrcade, still wrestling/acting like a heel. Starting feuding with Bagwell (Page the heel) over rumors of Bagwell/Kim affair. Late January '00, started coming to ring w/ Kim and beating likes of Disco Inferno. Started "signalling" for Diamond Cutter again and getting face pops. Given considerable time off before returning to WCW for "New Blood" angle, pushed as a top face. -

DDP's heel turn began on the 04-19-99 edition of Nitro. He made a "shout out!" to Hogan, who was a face, and at home recovering from a knee injury, annoying the fans. Then he commented that Goldberg wanted a title shot, Goldberg wanted to be like DDP...but it wasn't happening. Goldberg came out, the match was on. During the match, DDP used a foreign object in his tights, and pulled the referee between him during a spear. he repeatedly used the object, and went to ringpost figure 4 Goldberg. DDP threw the ref into the guardrail, and then hit Nash with the title belt when Nash tried to save Goldberg. They also promoted DDP as the guy who caused Hogan's injury via ringpost figure 4 at Spring Stampede. Next week, Roddy Piper tells DDP to defend the title against Sting. Page is boo'd heavily. Page refused. Piper ORDERS him to. Page loses the title to Sting. Later in the show, a 4-way match is ordered, Sting Vs. Page Vs. Nash Vs. Goldberg. With illegal tactics, an assist from Randy Savage, brass knucks, and a Diamond Cutter, Page regains the title by pinning Nash. -
A few weeks back on Raw (may have been when Hassan pinned Jericho, I think it was)... JR: "And Muhammad Hassan continues his undefeated streak and has to wonder who he'll be facing at WrestleMania." That makes me think that Hassan will have a scheduled opponent, not a "surprise" match.

If you READ...I mentioned the money they drew. Ted/Andre was amazing. Even in the old WWF Superstars arcade game, once you got to face Andre and Ted it was like "Oh...shit". It's weird, if you matchup JBL and DiBiase in any category, DiBiase wins...except one. Theme Music: Ted Finisher: Ted Outfits: Ted Main Event Matches: Ted Opponents: Ted Overness: Ted Money-Drawing Programs: Ted Heel Heat: Ted Stables (Andre/Virgil or hell, even the awful Corporation): Ted WWE Titles: JBL

JBL is a self-made millionaire. He doesn't need a backer, much less a preacher man backing him. I would like to see Ted & Virgil meet up with JBL & Orlando once, though. But by success, JBL & Orlando > DiBiase & Virgil. Didn't outdraw them in money. But JBL is in an announced WM Championship match, and WWE Champion, DiBiase can never say that.
-
He deserved it sooner than Orton, IMO. DiBiase would make a great addition and add the the "Hogan" thing. Jeez, at this rate, I could see DiBiase, Iron Sheik, Vokoff, Piper, Orton, Orndorff, etc. all doing one last old school beatdown of "Hulkamanaia", with Hart turning heel and yelling "Keep on him, baby! Now you got 'em!" on the megaphone...and then a mega-Hulk Up ensues. What was so great about Orton, BTW? Never saw a lot of his work but he always just looked like a henchman for Piper or Race.

Airfare to Mexico is roughly 500 dollarsa ticket booked Dec-Jan from Jersey/Philly. We're getting 8 days, 7 night hotel (Days Inn, waterfall pool, hot tob, etc.), plus this pass booklet for $50 with maps and "feee beer" times n such, for $333.50. So I think we got a good deal. Factor in round trip gas will cost each person approx. $40. 373.50 Hotel + Travel Vs. 500.00 Travel for Mexico. And we WENT to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2003, actually. Great time. 10 of us. Well I'm bringing $350.00 for 7 days. I think it'll be enough. We're bringing lots of booze with us to begin with, plus a lot of the clubs have "no cover" times due to those 50.00 packets we bought. -
Sting is a better heel than face.

Jericho and Saturn at Uncensored 1999. This wasn't a great match or anything, but it was decent. It also ended their feud, with lots of near falls, etc. Didn't Billy Gunn and Road Dogg have one of thse on Raw? "Dogg Pound" match?
