Actually, Dean went on to hold the title for some 11 months, feuding the next month with Eddie and Saturn over the Euro title, dissapearing from the PPV scene until November, and then re-uniting with the Radicals. A heated story with Lita started, seeing Dean defeat her on Raw and at Armageddin in a 6-person tag. Lita eventually defeated Dean after he lost the title on Raw. Dean appeared in Eddie's corner at WM 17. Last I remember of him. -
Snitsky never said he was "doing my job". He said "I was out there to do A job." He was referring to his then unknown status and the inside "job"-ber term. There was no hiree.

Name wrestlers and their greatest opponents
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Bret Hart's greatest opponent was Steve Austin. Anyone doubting this is a mega-mark or just being silly. Dispute this. I'd like to see the argument, concerning money-drawing and/or mark-emotionial investment. -

I have got a really clear version of Steiners Vs. Sting & Muta complete from the 92 Supershow Sorry for the delay, I'll get that and Vengeance 03 main event (DVD) up by Sunday morning. Just a lil busy. -
I actually find the poll decent... As for the indy guys, its like ranking college football/basketball. HHH = Duke, Illinois Super Dragon Samoa Joe, etc. = Boston College, Northwestern, Gonzaga "You can only play who is on the schedule".

Mr. McMahon as The King in The King and I. Have all the Divas come out as his many wives to pleasure him. With HHH as his "lead wife" and Stephanie as the "true love". -

LOL @ Owen... "I wanna give you credit. You beat the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Stick with me and you're gonna get more titles just like you did tonight. Good job anyway, Bulldog." Update: Matt/Benoit is gone. -
It sucks that new fans who heard the buzz about Season 1 via friends, or DVD sales round Xmastime have to watch this over-written brooding/non-character trait crap.

Who should of won the WWE world title...

RVD. Fall. 2001. Most over guy in the company. Good enough-very good matches all summer. By December = Taker's bitch. By February = Goldust feud. By April-May = Eddie's bitch. By June = Brock's bitch. By Sept. = Trip's bitch. Notice a trend here? I wonder WHY he's so complacent. -
Tonight's episode was AWFUL. Sandy leaving Kirsten to kiss the chubby ex-love was horribly written. I couldn't tell if the shocked look on Kirsten's face was because she was upset at being left alone or because she realized what a dopey segment the writers put in this episode. Lindsey is a horrible character who is just so vanilla and I could care less about. Zach needs to get hit by a bus. Ryan has lost every aspect of the decent "edge" he once had. Seth totally turned into a flaming wuss. he was always a dork and such, but Summer was always the catalyst for his most breakout moments. Tonight, FIZZLE... I could care less about any of these characters anymore.

Tonight WWE sent a big message... Orton and Edge are not ready for the main event. Orton's been thrown into the mix with Christian and Goat Boy...and Edge's whole "never gotten a shot" gimmick was effectively Pedigreed into the ground. What's next? Do they stretch out Orton's injury thing, and do Randy/Christian at Mania? Or throw Orton and Edge at each other after Orton wins a blowoff against CC?

A note on X-Men: Animated Series... The Age of Apocalypse take-off was a 2-part season opener. It was called "One Man's Worth". The 4-parter was called "Beyond Good & Evil", and just featured all the villains Vs. all the heros, with some new comic characters finally introduced onto TV.

This thread is so close to becoming a great battle against the hypocritical one...I hope it resumes. I starting disliking X-Pac in early 2000 when he went from "Right hand guy, #1 henchman" to "throw-away tag wrestler".
