I agree, neither woman compares to my brothel of sluts. Now, Applegate 10 years ago I'd take.

Just John said: "Carolina is looking at the same Eagles offense they mauled last year" BRIAN WESTBROOK. Duce Staley sucks.

The kick doesn't even look that bad, IMO. I have the video, and sometimes my friends ask "Can we see the kick that ended Bret's career?" I show it and they're like "Eh...".

NBR had a much hyped ladder match with 3 count/Dragons that was AWFUL and pales in comparison to their late 2000/early 2001 work. Awful Awesome/Storm match. Main Event was average. Awful three-way with Goldberg/Nash/Steiner...Goldberg "walks out" on the match. Storyline was "Wrestling is fake! Goldberg is supposed to LOSE. But he's not! This is revolutionary!" I kid you not. Plus, uh...Vampiro and Muta win the tag titles, a Sting squash, and more Russo crap.

You know what sucks about throwing fraternity parties. If a freshman girl gets LOADED at her dorm... And then come to my house and doesn't have a sip and leaves. And then gets killed in an accident. The fraternity is held responsible. There's a TON of shitty laws that fuck us over.

Bret quit, and an angle was set to have Bret/Nash face off on The Tonight Show, until Owen's death, which occured the day before the show's match was to occur. Bret would eventually come back, obviously as a face, to have a classic with Benoit (see Benoit's DVD). He would remain a face, winning the World title until he turned heel in December. No Bischoff/Bret feud (why Bret "quit") ever played out. Bret would actually next see Bischoff in April 2000, saving him from an attack by Hollywood Hogan. Although Bret's active wrestling career was over by then, as he suffered from post-concussion syndrome due to a stiff superkick from Bill Golbderg at Starrcade 1999, and reaggrevation of the injury at the hands of Terry Funk a few weeks after.

He did include it, slapnuts. Vengeance 01, Austin. The much much better match with Rock (No Mercy 01) is there.

So next week, NEW ORLEANS Vs. CAROLINA... - Philly is in at #1. - Atlanta is #2. - Green Bay is #3. - Seattle is IN and may be #4 (I'm prediciting, b/c even if St. Louis wins tonite against the Eagles bench, they'll lose next week, as their team is trash). - Minnesota will most likely be #5. Leaving...New Orleans, Carolina (winner of next week's game has better record) and St. Louis. Can New Orleans upset Carolina and steal the #6? Discuss.

alf, No, Steiner and Goldberg never had a match that good. They had a passable "Oh, this could be on WWE" match that wasn't boring. Since it wasn't boring, it had a decent storyline and wasn't embarassing to watch like the rest of tyhe company's matches, it was overrated. Call it ** 1/2.

By the way, Benoit's WCW World Title win doesn't count. It was reversed the next night, as Benoit left WCW for WWE. Storyline mode (as you can see during the match) was special referee Arn Anderson announcing Sid's foot (clearly planned) was under the bottom rope as he tapped out. It's just like the referee doing a Dusty Finish at the end of a title bout, it doesn't count. WCW never counted it on their website title histories. It doesn't count. Just sayin'... Oh yeah, after Benoit, the title history went: SID, NASH, SID...it's like WWF 1995, baby!

But...but...they had Ludicras! And Motley Crue! -
In this thread, let's post what we feel was the worst episode of WCW Nitro ever... READ THIS...it may not be THE worst...but it's right up there...check out some of the fucking angles in the "angles" area...as well as match times and workes paired together... And then post some of your memories! 12-20-99, The Baltimore Arena, Baltimore, Maryland Announcers: Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay, and Bobby Heenan Backstage, the unseen Vince Russo and Roddy Piper argue, as Russo tries to get Piper to tell the fans he "sold out" to Russo, and Piper refuses. The announcers speculate that Vince Russo caused Bill Goldberg to be "screwed" at Starrcade, much like Bret Hart was two years earlier in the World Wrestling Federation. Kevin Nash cuts a "shoot" promo, running down Bret Hart and saying that Goldberg was screwed out of the World Title. Jim Duggan refuses to denounce the United States, and The Revolution brutalizes him until The Filthy Animals make the save. Roddy Piper quits WCW for making a horrible choice, but is stopped by Bill Goldberg and Bret Hart. Hart vacates the WCW World Title and says he had nothing to do with Piper's decision. Vince Russo admits he screwed Goldberg to make up for the "screwing" of Bret two years earlier. A Hart/Goldberg rematch is signed. Roddy Piper destroys Vince Russo's office, coming through the wall with a baseball bat. In the rafters, The Total Package, dressed up as Sting, was seen posing with a baseball bat. Disco Inferno was brought to Mr. Marinara by The Mamalukes & Tony Marinara, and forced to "join the family or live in a coma". Backstage, David Flair's gothic #1 fan, Daffney, is hit on by Jerry only. She responds by biting his nose and running away from the other Misifts. Later, David Flair beats down ring announcer David Penzer, as well as Vampiro & Jerry Only, for Daffney being harassed. Evan Karagias attacks Chavo Guerrero for attempting to sell him a book, titled "How to Pick Up Chicks". Dallas Page comes to the ring and attacks "Buff" Bagwell, who is claiming that an affair may have occurred between he and Kimberly, Page's wife. Roddy Piper gives an emotional speech to the WCW locker room about not selling out, as the crowd chants "boring". 1. WCW Cruiserweight Champion Madusa (with Spice) pinned Buzzkill in 1:38 with a German suplex after hitting him with brass knuckles thrown to her by Spice. 2. Curt Hennig pinned Hugh Morrus in 4:30 with the "Hennigplex" as Morrus was frequently distracted by his father, who arrived to ringside in a hospital gown. 3. Tank Abbott fought Jerry Flynn to a no-contest in a "No Holds Barred" match when security broke up the fight as the referee was knocked out. After the match, Abbott hit Flynn with a knockout punch cheap shot. 4. Brian Knobbs & Fit Finlay defeated Meng & Norman Smiley in a "hardcore match" in 4:00 when Knobbs pinned Smiley in the arena's bathroom after slamming a stall door on his head. 5. The Maestro (with Symphony) pinned Evan Karagias in 3:41 with a running knee as Karagias was concerned with Symphony, who was feigning being knocked out after Karagias ran into her. 6. Chris Kanyon (with J. Biggs & women) defeated Bam Bam Bigelow and Dallas Page in a "three-way dance" in 4:19 after smashing a champagne bottle over Bigelow's head while the referee was distracted. Page walked out on the match after hitting both men with a "Diamond Cutter" moments before the end. 7. Kevin Nash (with Scott Hall) fought Creative Control to a no-contest in 3:30 in a match without a referee after Scott Hall entered the ring on crutches and broke one over Creative Control's backs. 8. Jeff Jarrett defeated WCW U.S. Champion Chris Benoit in 6:56 in a ladder match to win the title after hitting Benoit with a guitar and climbing a second ladder. Benoit had just earlier attempted to climb a ladder with Jarrett incapacitated, both the rungs on both sides fell off, as someone apparently rigged the ladder. 9. The Wall (with Berlyn) defeated Sid Vicious by disqualification in 2:33 after Berlyn came off the top rope and dropkicked his bodyguard. After the match, Vicious powerbombed Berlyn, and then shook hands with The Wall. 10. Mike Rotunda & Rick Steiner (with Kevin Sullivan & Leia Meow) defeated Harlem Heat in 7:14 when Rotunda pinned Stevie Ray as he was distracted arguing with Midnight, who appeared at ringside after the lights went out. 11. Bret Hart pinned Bill Goldberg in 5:44 to win the vacant WCW World Title after The Outsiders (aided by Hart) came to the ring and brutalized Goldberg with baseball bats. Roddy Piper unsuccessfully came to the ring and attempted to shield Goldberg's body. Jeff Jarrett came to the ring and laid out Piper with a guitar shot. The group spray painted Piper & Goldberg, as the nWo music played to announce the new four-man faction.

Your "band to watch in 2005"

I just saw Franz in concert...some of their stuff was great, some of it was like listening to Duran Duran on Acid on a scratched record player. I give them a C. -
311 is painfully overrated and mediocre. Altho that hasn't stopped me from seeing them twice, owning all their CDs, and just getting their giant DVD. I dunno...I like their stuff.

"Ban greek living". Greeks run the country. Why don't you look up some "Frat" men that have risen to prominence in this country... Hell, Michael Bloomberg, Woodrow Wilson, and JFK Jr. are among the great leaders who were in MY frat alone. Don't make stupid comments.

They already had the Video Game Awards on Spike TV. Take them as official. -
I like SD Vs. Raw, decent storyline mode, best graphics ever, just a horribly limited roster due to the awful brand extension. That doesn't make sense, but it does.
-
The ECW DVD is easily the best, yes, since Flair's DVD doesn't have a career retrospective (main feature) on it. Eddie's DVD rocks too, with a diverse match selection and a tearful ending (on the phone crying with his wife after beating that fucking pussy Brock to win the title).

If you can find it, check out WWF Unforgiven 2001. A really fun show, with the exception of one match. It gives a great opening WCW Tag Title 4-way, a Raven/Saturn WCW-ish match (altho heatless), a great RVD/Jericho bout, a pretty stellar Austin/Angle match with a big title change, a funyn Jericho/Stephanie backstage segment, a quick Tajiri/Rhyno US Title change that resembled Rhyno being a monster in ECW, the first Edge/Christian battle, and a decent, altho silly Rock Vs Shane/Booker title match. Not the BEST DVD...but a really SOLID all around card. Underappreciated.

The WM 20 match is about **** in hindsight. I think lots of people overrate it due to the sheer mark-out for Benoit winning the title. Most of it is SLOWWWWWWW, SLOWWWW punching punching punching SLOWWWWWWW setup on the tables and then all the great stuff at the end.

What is worse? "Hey guys, WWE is on! Check it out!" :::potential new fans sit down:: Stevie/Tomko 1) Wow, that was a pretty pathetic match. Why was he in bra and panties? They both SUCK! (It was 5-6 minutes...) or 2) WHO THE FUCK IS JBL? Why is he the champion? THIS is the big title match? :::apply to any title match::: Keep Time-Constraints and Dissapointment in mind...I may change my pick.

I better get an award. I'm by far the best newbie that I've seen on here for meeting Tyson Tomko at a bar, running Angleplex out of town, starting the "mixer" picture threads and being the WCW Smark. Plus I think most of the Hardcore Discussers are pussies.

If a guy robs you, its unadvertised. If your girlfriend mistakenly gets pregnant, its unadvertised. When Tomko faced Richards on PPV, it was unadvertised. My point being: IT STILL FUCKING SUCKS.
