Eugene's on Smackdown.
-
7 years? Uh, no. Orton defeated Foley by countout a few years back in late 2003, setting up their feud, when Foley lost his courage and walked away.

Holy shit Daivari is on the Chris Masters diet.

They always debut the new guys strong. I remember when they put over Shelton, Rhyno, Tajiri, and Nidia (all SD! draftees) in one show. Probably someone else I'm forgetting.

"We haven't seen enough Booker Vs Cena and Booker Vs Lashley." I hate to say this, because I like Smackdown, but no one watches that show. Thus, these matches, especially promoted on Raw and thus automatically being "more important", could be deemed fresh to many fans who aren't familiar with Smackdown.
-
Perhaps in kayfabe Sandman can't remember his World Title wins. Last week they did say that you have to actually want to be in the match, you're not automatically entered (which is why Vince wasn't included).

Kill Carlito. Get into PPV Main Event. Works for me.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007

Mentioned this in the Raw thread, but Sandman should be added to the Vengeance main event. -
I *love* the Cleveland Indians and hope to God they are the AL rep. in the World Series. They're so fun to watch, even embarassing the Phillies.
-
I expect Sandman to say he wants in at Vengeance... And then Coach's music hits. And he says to show Sandman how Raw "does things", he puts up Sandman's spot in a match, with Sandman facing... UUUUMaga. Squash ensues.
-
The Sandman is a former ECW World Champion, much like Bobby Lashley. Thus, if Sandman is not included in the main event for WWE Vengenace, making it a Six-Pack Challenge, I will be pissed. What better way to rekindle his star power and get him over then to brawl with Foley and cane Cena in the face? Tonight, I want a "YOOOOOO!"

I am really getting tired of Manuel batting Ryan Howard 4th against lefties. If Howard, who has one swing, was not 4th, the Phillies would have a hitter up, with two outs, who knew how to pull a ball and at least get a run in from 3rd on a fly out. Instead, SURPRISE, we get Howard striking out badly, and now the Indians lead it 1-0. Howard cost the team some runs yesterday too with RISP and just terrible at bats and an 0-5 day. Howard needs to be batting 6th until he learns how to swing against lefties. The fact that Aaron Rowand, who has the 5th best average in the NL, is hitting behind him just sucks.

Re: Bischoff I'd prefer Vince and Bischoff and DX and nWo and Hogan and Austin the rest of the washed-up Attitude Era bullshit stays off TV. It's 2007, not 1997, and Bischoff sucked back then, much less 10 years later when the marks and smarks alike know he is just an actor with no real political power.

For what it's worth, WWE.com was hinting at Kendrick & London possibly facing The Hardyz sometime in their Raw futures, despite Matt being on Smackdown!. I don't get it.
-
Sandman is an low-carder who will replace Eugene on the "squash" list and make the squashes appear to be fresher. I want Kendrick & London to destroy the Highlanders tonight, feud with TWGTT in July, then win the tag straps at SummerSlam from the Barnyard Mafia.

AL REFERENCED THE "SUPERSTAR RECORDS" PAGE!!! alkeiper just used UseTheSledgehammerUh as a reference. Think about it.

Smackdown is the "AAA" of WWE, where characters are developed and fleshed out and then moved to the flagship show, Raw. It's how the business works. The paychecks remain the same. London & Kendrick went from small cruiserweight no-names to having an impressive tag title reign and carrying opponents like Stevens & James and Deuce & Domino. They increased the overness of the team on Smackdown! and now want to bring them to the "A" show and make money with them. Stop this ridiculous "Smackdown! got raped!" stuff. It's all one company. It's all one business. Yeah, drafting them both was a cop out. But it's likely they were going to both be taken as singles, so they probably wanted to move one more talent so they combined the picks into one. That's a good thing, someone else gets moved to a brand that they fit better with.

I never really got into The Incredible Hulk character. Then I read, in order: Incredible Hulk #105, World War Hulk Prologue: Worldbreaker, Incredible Hulk #106, and World War Hulk #1. Brilliant storytelling, really good art (some better than others)...The Hulk is now just one of the best characters I can think of. -

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I think we'll get Lashley/Cena at SummerSlam, based on Lashley's "I'm still a champion" comments and the announcers teasing that "John Cena may take exception to those comments". Then they can drop the title to Lashley, continue his God Push, and shift the negative heat from Cena onto Lashley, while repairing Cena's babyface heat even more with a 2nd tier run. If the "WWE doesn't revolve around Cena", fans tend to hate him less. And by 2nd tier, I don't mean mid-card, he can stay near the top, just get screwed out of a rematch. Hell, turn Lashley heel and make him the brickhouse killer. I loved Benoit/Lashley, BTW, because Lashley finally played his character right - juggernaut who can mat wrestle who will eventually knock you down for three. Likely for the Bash, IMO: John Cena over King Booker Bobby Lashley over Randy Orton -
Somehow Dan Rodman will be behind the bombing.
-
Hey shitty ring announcer, they won by DQ.
-
What is Marcus Cor Von's gimmick, exactly? He's pretty short, BTW. Looked like a cruiser in that battle royal last night, despite his upper body. I don't think he's ever been pinned or made to submit since his debut.
