Announcers shouldn't have gimmicks. They should announce matches and MAKE THE VIEWERS WANT TO WATCH THE MATCH. Giving wrestlers generic last names just makes the viewer feel even MORE apathetic about the team, much less, the match.

Sad thing is I started reading the Heat preview and saw the Shelton in action part, and I thought he was back. Actually, sad thing is, I started reading the hHat preview.

Um, Bret had plenty of charisma during his run as champion, IMO. And in a lot of cases, it was his cocky yet confident "straight to your face" type gimmick that helped add to his feuds with "whiny" or braggard type characters (Owen, heel HBK, Diesel, Backlund, Lawler). If anything, Bret's "acting" and charisma lessened during the feud with Austin. He went from natural emotions the crowd could relate to ("I don't like Michaels and his pretty-boy, Luchador-style. I can BEAT HIM." or "My little brother Owen is a pest. I'm gonna hurt you, Owen.") to "Wah! Canada rules! U.S. sucks!" Bret's "character" during the whole U.S./Canada thing was made stronger by Austin's huge popularity. IMO, it was a lame gimmick. Canada/U.S. feud? Uhhh....oookkk....

Leaves Wolfy in...idiot. But the Cubs practically GAVE The Phillies the game...Bases loaded and no outs. Thank you Chase and Mr. Michaels for youre valuable at bats. Fire Bowa, I don't care anymore. Every year after the All Star break the Phils are doomed.

I've seen bits and pieces of the Thunderbirds show. It was God-awful. Don't get me wrong, I think South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut was genius. And Orgazmo made me laugh. But this looks stupid and I doubt it will find an audience.

If anyone else needs, I have a master of this show, in a pretty brand new original box.
