If RVD would just land on the opponent and not bounce off of them he may be the champion. -

Did anyone bid on Jacqueline's underwear? Cena hits the softest slams ever and I swear, they'd knock Hogan & Warrior out for minutes. -
That looks awful. Puppets shouting corny one-liners? I'll pass.

Benoit's title reign hasn't even been 5 months. So how has "Angle been out of action for 6 months". -

How did they become faces? Johnny the Bell had a good luck in WCW, a certain "cool" luck while with Big Vito and the Thrillers. When he debuted on Raw in the Hardcore Division, he had put on weight (in addition to muscle) and looked way OLD. He's in pretty damn good shape now and grow his hair out some more, so he's about back to his prime of having the look. But still a 0.1 on the Batista scale. -

That segment with Arn from the Benoit DVD isn't original. It's the same segment that appeared on Flair's DVD, which in itself isn't original. It was a small piece they did with Arn which originally aired on WWE Confidential. -

How underrated is Too Cold Scorpio?
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to AmazingRen's topic in General Wrestling
When he broke out the 450 Splash at the November '92 Clash of the Champions, I think just about everyone in the arena and watching at home went insane. Awesome, awesome, stuff. It's a shame Scorpio was made to look weak, almost DIRECTLY after that: - Jobbed in tag match at Starrcade "Lethal Lottery" tag. - BARELY got a win over a relatively unknown Benoit at a major PPV. - Jobbed in TV Title Tournament...that belt would have been perfect for him...exposure on major TV programs, with an exciting moveset. Of course, Orndorff is given the title for some reason, defeating ERIK WATTS (?!?!?!?!) in the final. - Losing to TV Champ Orndorff... - A Tag Title reign for a couple of days...with freakin' BAGWELL. - "Dancing" with Bagwell. Sigh. -
So my friends and I were pre-gaming and about to go out. We watched Smackdown!. A good episode. Complete with a really pretty decent Spike/Rey match (good bout...but Christ, Spike??? Totally lame)...and Eddie/Angle, which got the marks and females to laugh...a bit... Then came the 8-way. I put my "money" on R...V...D. Everyone liked Cena. Then came the end.... Cena, Booker T, RVD are left. I put my "smoking cigarettes" on the line against RVD, who for some reason, cause I thought I read the spoilers, I "knew" would win. Everyone loves Cena, they laugh, I break my last cig in half. This really hot girl comes really close to me, gives me here # and bets a "hook up" that RVD loses. I'm all "Hahahahahaha.....sure!" RVD jobs. Cena jobs. Fuck you, slut. However....on a blight side...I am now TO MY WORD, NOT ALLOWED TO SMOKE A CIGARETTE (and this is with my "see you everyday" crew) until Booker T loses the title. I got the whore's #. The moral of the story. SOMEHOW, Vince McMahon got 7 NON-FANS to come watch SummerSlam. Cause I'll be ordering, and they'll of course, be there. Go RVD. Or Cena. Don't care. Benoit isn't dropping the title. Otherwise, there;s only one title change I wanna see... DA NA NA NA NUH NUH.... "AND NEW....UNITED STATES CHAMPION.... I advise any smokers to bet the same. The whores get laid, and you still have interest in watching somehwat predictable PPVs.

They don't have a "HHH Vs. The Rock...Their Matches" or "The Best of The Rock Vs. Stone Cold: The Rivalry" DVD.... Not to those suggested DVDs are better...but you can see what I'm getting at. Unfortunately, keep wishing.

Oh knock it the fuck off, London is good in small doses, when he can hit his "indy spots!" Otherwise, whether or not you wanna see "cruiserweight moonsault dropkicks" or not...be realistic. He does have a pretty cool website, however....www.paul-london.com.

Gotta respond on Benoit/Jarrett. Saw this live on PPV, liked it. Been reading reviews/questions on it so I picked up a copy at the video store. Nothing special. Excellent for WCW at the time, but not special or "most underrated". I give it ** 3/4.

Having actually said down and thoroughly looked at a few matches, I can positively give the following star ratings: Benoit Vs. Angle - Cage Match, Raw: *** 1/4 Benoit Vs. Angle, Royal Rumble '03: **** 1/2 Benoit Vs. Booker T, Great American Bash '98: * 3/4 Benoit Vs. Guerrero, October '95 Nitro: ** Even the stuff that isn't rated highly (take the Nitro match) is awesome to have historically. Some great spots in it, especially for it being a 1-hour TV show. (And a major blown one, heh). Booker/Benoit was a HUGE dissapointment, and they had many better matches in the series. Restholds hurt this. As did Benoit controlling the ENTIRE match, only to go down to three straight blows (one of which MISSED Benoit clearly) and lose. Angle/Benoit Rumble is amazing. The end sequences are what WRESTLING IS ABOUT. Drama, surprise, and put both guys over huge. The cage match is very great. The three "big spots", mixed with good matwork, Benoit nailing 9 Germans, but gets a little repetitive at times. Still, great to have a copy of.

Just to be picky...Dynamite Kido... you said that Grisham sounds like a dumbass because he called it the IWGP Title, unlike Benoit/Malenko. Benoit refers to it as the IWGP Title during the main feature.

Bischoff during Benoit/Guerrero on Nitro... "Just a reminder..1-900-909-9900...call the Hotline, he has got some HOT...I mean DOUBLE-HOT info. for you!" Meanwhile Benoit is trying to break Guerrero's arm. Oh god...DEATH-BOMB by Benoit on Eddie. Yeah, Sullivan and Booker's themes are edited, too. Odd, on the MAIN FEATURE, Bret's WCW theme is heard. Yet during the EXTRA match Bret/Benoit, he has a new theme inserted.
