I've recently totally eliminated beer & regular soda from my diet and stuck with mixed drinks (or just vodka shots, etc.) and diet sodas. It really works wonders. Had a Diet Pepsi slurpee the other day. Just a tremendous aftertaste. Had a regular Coke slurpee for some reason on July 4th and it just didn't have the "kick" that the Diet one did. My purpose was to get more trim and cut, and exercise whenever I could. It's easy. One-Two GOOD meals a day. I recommend: - Serving of Romaine Lettuce. No cheese, no croutons, no dressing. - Eaten with 1-2 breasts of Grilled Chicken (try to get Carribean or Cajun, for FLAVOR!) - Sides of string beans and asparagus...asparagus are one of the BEST THINGS YOU CAN EAT. Lots of nutritional stuff, but hardly ANY carbs and no fat! - If you need to fill up, grab one or two SMALL CHILIs from Wendy's. Try to work out (I'm not a gym guy). I recomend SWIMMING (40 min-1 hour) and Running the Treadmill. If you're overweight, you'll see dramatic results. If you have a little babyfat or whatever, or have just not been eating properly, you'll see a TREMENDOUS change in your mood, sleep, and energy. Good luck.

Coming this Friday to The Smark Marks
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to JasonX's topic in Television & Film
I saw an attempt to post the "first part" of this on the main page yesterday, but the link led to nothing. Do we really need a review of this crap. -
I wouldn't throw Mysterio into the match. The buyrates aren't going to change because the show is already purchased. I find it silly to have him not win in the match, as well. Also, Jericho's cruiserweight run can't be denied! Plus, at this time, keep in mind that Rey's knee required major surgery. Also, keep in mind that Booker T is one of the few wrestlers who used a title to develop major mainstream credibility (ala Orton). His "surprise" win over Disco on Nitro helped build what would be a solid fan-base. Everything else is cool, but Bobby Heenan? Eh...why add more non-wrestlers/guys who won't actively manage to the fold?

If Philadelphia is not the #1 City, this list is a joke.

Neidhart was rumored to be the third member of the "War Games" team in 1993... Of course, imagine replacing NEIDHART with a WORSE worker. They did it!

WWE going after E-feds?
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
If you join and then can convince the booker to have 6-8 of your closest "boys" join the company and give you a "comfort circle"...CONGRATS! 2 year title reign! -
WWE going after E-feds?
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
What will their policy be on hiring JAPANESE E-Fed workers? Such as Ultimate Dragin' or Kendo Nazuki? Surely without ever seeing their work, Mr. McMahon will ASSUME they are closely like other similar looking people in the federation....namely Ron Mysterious, Jr. and The Great Hooka and then fire them after they wrestle different styles? -
Wow, that may be my first legitimate, laughed at, comedic moment on this board. :::Back to reality::: Saw The Butterfly Effect on DVD tonight....good stuff.

Are you sure your friend isn't mistaking Rick Rude for one of the Super Mario Brothers?

"Benoit holds the title for months and then drops out of the title picture completely?" (after feuding with HHH) See: Jericho, Chris. 2002. See: Goldberg, Bill. 2003. 2004 brings us: Chris Benoit
-
I swear to God that they don't do a TIME LIMIT DRAW at SummerSlam. I think after HHH (eventually) gets the belt, he'll probably face Edge at the show. And I think it'll go to a draw. HHH playing Flair and Edge playing Sting, and HHH not dropping the title that soon, but still making Edge look great, with a hot crowd. Benoit/Eugene HHH/Edge Eddie/Bradshaw? Orton/Jericho?
-
Okay, so they'll push Edge. Take out each member...okay. To get to the leader? That would mean Edge won't be winning the IC title Sunday. So they're going to further develop fan interest in Edge by making him fail on Sunday? Right.
-
Evolution "officially" formed a little before No Way Out 2003, so your theory holds true. Still, it's Edge, and he's not over with the crowd enough to do the Sting 1997 "take out each member" deal...or even the Goldberg 2003 "go through each member" deal, for that matter. Even with a mega-hot Canadian crowd tonight, Edge got a...nice...ovation. No way in hell his IC Match with Orton will be anywhere near as hot or good as Jericho's bout with the champion tonight. WWE would be very smart to keep the title on Benoit, turn Eugene, and do HHH/Edge and Benoit/Mega heel Eugene at SSlam.
-
I stand corrected and totally forgot about Benoit/HHH, which was good, but still..."strange"...seeing Hunter put over as a face. I'll never, ever forget Benoit HEADBUTTING STEPHANIE MCMAHON on a Raw before the PPV, during the storyline buildup.
-
5 matches for Vengeance? Maybe we'll get good blowoffs? (lol...)
-
This has been a pretty good Raw. A very solid, if not unspectacular tag match...great IC match...and the women's stuff was just bland this week, not embarassing. Main event will probably deliver, as well. Good job. Best Raw since the Jericho/Christian cage match episode.

Jericho/Orton = **** (TV-wise) Just awesome. A couple slow periods by Orton and a less than desireable finish (It was the best that could happen given the PPV is Sunday). They did chant "Go Jericho Go!", btw.
-
It shouldn't have been WrestleMania. From an intelligent standpoint. Vince already had his WM buys based on the "WrestleMania" name and "All Day Long!" show alone. Backlash, a traditionally bad and/or poorly purchased PPV, was hyped by Austin's return and finally, the 1-on-1 Rock/HHH bout for the World Title. Further reason why wrestling's a business, not a legitimate sport.

KOTR 2000 was awful. Unforgiven 2000 was awful. No Mercy 2000 was awful, save for the main event. Survivor Series 2000 was awful. Armageddon 2000 was awful.

Van Helsing wasn't terrible, just unoriginal, void of character development, and just highly non-enjoyable. I wasn't embarassed for having seen it, just not entertained and dissapointed.
-
Isn't Trish injured? "Women's title/intergender match is assured". Also, the PPV IS ON SUNDAY?!?!?!? Wow, that was quick. The Bash really threw me off. Anyone think Eugene books he and Triple H against La Resistance to "be the tag champ with his best friend?" Could happen, and makes La Res's reign seem more credible if they can get past them. I dunno, totally confused over what to expect tonight. I'd like a gimmick match show though...at least we'd get MATCHES instead of interviews and Diva Search info.

Benoit, Edge, & Jericho Vs. All 4 of Evolution? Benoit Vs. HHH & Batista?
-
If a newbie TNA fan were to turn into Impact! tonight, he'd see a Monty Brown Vs. Abismo Negro match. Just found it interesting to have a competitor labeled as "Negro" and have Monty Brown doing his insane, screaming gimmick.

I stopped watching Smackdown regularly after the much-hyped Iron Man match between Angle and Lesnar was mediocre, and afterwards Lesnar went into ANOTHER feud with Undertaker, and the McMahons FEUDED WITH EACH OTHER AGAIN....Late Sept. 03.
