Flair working over the knee and quad...FIGURE FOUR!
-
It works fine on Stickam. Carlito has had an armbar on forever.
-
More restholds from Carlito.
-
Make the Stickam viewer bigger. Mine's like a foot square. Carlito with evil new BLACK TIGHTS.
-
"If Carlito wrestles this match every night, he might be the next WWE Champion!" - Jim Ross (Carlito is doing restholds...)

Just opened up "paltalk", I'm in the chatroom. All I hear are some weird voices.
-
What speaking? "Sounds as bad as the old WWF AOL chat rooms." I made that exact comment in there. It's exactly the same.
-
I'm in as LetsGoKhali. Right now it's hell there. JeffHardyFan is leading the way with "hey who in here roleplays?"
-
Vanhalen, thanks a ton for the link. KHALI WINS OR I RIOT.

On Baseball Tonight, the retards interviewed Hunter Pence. "So I gotta ask you, the name 'Hunter', where did you get that?" "Uh...it's...my name..." "Yeah, sorry, it's just peculiar!"

The only bad thing about tonight's Phillies game is that Turnbow didn't get rocked again. Loving the production from the likes of Ruiz (who has hit a HR at the last 3 games I attended now!), Nunez (somewhat), and DOBBS~!. Brewers have some decent pitching and some on-again/off-again stud hitters, and they're in a kinda shitty division (or at least it appears that way early), but I don't think they're a team that can hang with the N.L.'s best. Old man Moyer for the 4-Game Sweep tomorrow! I'm going, so Ruiz better hit another dinger.

"We saw this 100 times on SD." Not at that point. It was Rey's first meaningful match. He debuted in late July, IIRC. Awesome opener. Really got Rey over with anyone who wasn't familiar with his work, instead of just having him go over the mid-card/lower-card.

Why Snitsky vignette's are airing on Raw

"Ooh, one instance out from the four years he was supposed to be Mr. Super Duper Evil Guy, and it did so much for Batista!" It did a ton for Batista. He then put him over two more PPVs in a row. People generally liked the matches. Batista's whole rise to the main event was people saying "THIS GUY IS COOL. HE DOESN'T TAKE HHH's SHIT. THIS IS THE GUY TO END THE REIGN." And guess what? HHH hasn't won the belt since. It's not HHH's fault that Batista did programs with shitty JBL afterwards that were not well-received. Batista can blame his shitty main event run on injuries, steroids, crappy opponents, and not being the same post-injury. -
Why Snitsky vignette's are airing on Raw

Heat is heat. Edge's first title win was lazy booking because: 1) Edge had only 2 months left to cash in the MITB shot. They seemingly forgot this. 2) Cena's reign sucked. 3) They wasted the whole nearly-year long build with Edge to give him a fuke win, then erased it 2 weeks later. Edge would then subsequently disappear from the main event scene for 3 months. It was almost as if they said "You know, Edge has that MITB case. Let's give him a quickie reign to establish the MITB's importance, so that come WM time, people care about the MITB match." Then, Edge gets taken apart at the Rumble and goes on to feud with Mick Foley, who hasn't been in regular action for 2 years or so. It ended up hurting Edge. -
Michaels Hayes: U.S. Champion would be like today is Chavo Guerrero woulda won the U.S. Title from Benoit last fall/winter.

Why Snitsky vignette's are airing on Raw
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
"That's kinda funny, because none of HHH's megaheel antics after his first quad tear got as much heat as Edge's opportunistic title wins." Batista/HHH was more over than anything Edge has ever done. It sold WM 21. And by over I mean "sell the biggest PPV of the year", not sing a funny song with Kurt Angle that the arena laughs at or "pop the internet with a fake shoot angle with Matt Hardy that gets the second from curtain jerking spot at SummerSlam" angle. Yes, Edge is not a WM main eventer just yet. Although he did lose in the opener this year. In the same so-called "mid-card elevation" match he won years ago. And if you think HHH **pinning Goldberg** and shocking the crowd at SummerSlam 2003 and pinning the unbeatable Goldberg after Goldy steamrolled through the entire main event scene, with HHH injured no less and "surely dropping the title" wasn't more over than Edge's lazy booking title reign pt.2 (both Edge MITB cash-ins have been lazy booking/forced last-second decisions) you're dreaming. Plus without HHH, you don't get Benoit's smark wet dream World Title win at WM 20. You think the reaction woulda been the same if Benoit made, say, Guerrero or JBL tap out? LOL. I'd even say that Triple H retaining by luck at the late December '03 Raw in San Antonio against Michaels got a bigger reaction than Edge's third in a series of lucky title wins. AND HOW CAN WE NOT FORGET... Triple H kicking Orton the fuck out of Evolution, another brilliant post-surgery HHH heel angle that was more carefully done and over than Edge's title win. Subsequent awful HHH/babyface Orton follow-up aside, the actual angle was red-hot. ____________ Seriously, I've enjoyed probably about only 10-12 HHH matches since he returned in 2002. And it took until 2003 for me to like ONE of his matches. But scumbag politician or not, you can't ignore he's a brilliant AND legitimate heel. Edge's 200 pound frame kinda hurts his legitimacy at times. -
My friends and I sat down and watched the West game last night. 4 of cheering the 8-seed Warriors and 1 cheering the Jazz. The calls against the Warriors, who I have no reason to homer for, were ridiculous. Carlos Boozer is a scumbag who was out there elbowing and chest-bumping the other team and trying to goad them into more T's. There were about 6-7 calls during the 4th quarter which were phantom or just not seen correctly. Coming off of last year's Western Conference Semi-Finals and Finals, which were some of the best series *in NBA history* (or at least since I've been watching since 1990) - now we're gonna get the fucking SPURS and JAZZ, two of the most boring teams in the league, going at it. Hooray. I was hoping someone hit Boozer in the face last night. Derek Fisher, among other Jazz, sliding all over the floor, feet hitting everywhere, NO CALL. And Kirrilenko and his bitching when the Warriors actually GET a call for a change, give me a break, and get a new haircut. I have never, once, ever, supported a Spurs team, but may do so against the Jazz.
-
The bullshit calls that went to the Jazz last night were too many to count. Fun game, but ridiculous home court bias by the referees.

The new Dungeon of Doom? -
Getting drunk on a Friday Night is generally more acceptable than a Monday, which typically has work the next morning. j/k, Raw's batshit awful. Smackdown! is so fun.

There's a sick Owen Hart/Jeff Hardy match on RAW back on December 11, 1995. Jeff does a shooting star press sell of an Owen clothesline. Right after Owen kicked Shawn's head off, baby!

Lets get more "History Threads" going guys....

"became the most repped person on the entire network" What the hell does that mean? I reviewed like a half-years worth of Nitros with great care, search the forum and go find them, tell me if that's what you're into. -
Paul Roma is awesome on the Horsemen DVD. The Horsemen DVD was very boring. This is from the NWA/WCW ultra-mark. I love Flair and Tully and Arn and even Ole could work. I even dig Sid, love Barry, didn't hate Roma. Benoit and Pillman are gods. But this DVD was SO GOD DAMN SLOW.

Kinda like the level in CastleVania where you can't possibly get to the Grim Reaper with 10,000 enemies right before him and then you have to fight him with zero health if you luckbox your way there.

Edge got himself a belly.
