    RAw and Smackdown

Ah, which one of La Resistance is named "Ron" ? They're the best team on RAW, btw...don't forget about them.

The Cat Not Well Liked Backstage.

Ah, I think The Cat will be gone from WWE by WrestleMania, or at least television. Besides neat entrance music, he has a corny, unfunny sidekick, he looks out of shape, his reports of wrestling @ dark matches weren't positive, and he rambles on the mic like a drunk. Kanyon sucks, by the way. Always has, always will. Can't talk, is boring, hits contrived "INNOVATIVE!" spots, and has ugly ring attire. Liked Mortis, though, because he wrestled a different style. And he was under a cool mask. And he didn't talk. And he was a tag team wrestler.

Something I just remembered about Judgment Day and

Judgment Day probably to avoid the embarassment that the card was. -Rikishi and Rico win the tag titles. -HHH and Y2J in a SLOWWWWW, boring, lack-of-bumps Hell in a Cell Match. Y2J jobs. -Wasn't there a Trish Vs. Stacy match. -Undertaker Vs. Hogan etc... I never saw Vengeance, but I hear the main event was pretty good, if not silly, to give The Rock a world title reign like 2 weeks after he returned from an absence. I'm sure the other title matches were decent, but forgettable. RVD/Brock, UnAmericans/Hogan+Edge, whoever else fought. Didnt Benoit and Eddy job to the Dudleys?

    Dupree turns twenty

I'd like to see some of these "rookies" gain a natural response from the audience. The "Attitude Era" did have that strong point...it gave us guys and we cheered for them and their success (and the companies success) was b/c of the fans, how it should be. Now it's "That's Matt Morgan! He's mean!" "That animal Batista! Boo him!" "Randy Orton is cocky, that sonofa..." "La Resistance are French, boo them!" Like, personally, I found La Resistance to be cool. Their wrestling isn't great, but they're better than Cade/Jindrak, fresher than Dudleys, better than Test/Steiner, Rosey/Hurricane, etc. They may actually be the best team on RAW. And one of them is 20 years old. My point is, maybe guys like Dupree, etc. would get better responses if ya know, THE PAYING FANS could choice whether to cheer/boo him and that fat scum pig Jim Ross would shut the fuck up.

    ESPN's Top 10 Games

I would think that the NFC Playoff game from this year (I think, January) between the Giants and 49ers, featuring that awesome 49ers comeback, would be included. Or was that late December '02?

The RAWZone (Hour 2) -Backstage, Orton is arguing to Bischoff about defending titles against ystery opponents...he is joined by Batista who is FURIOUS about his title loss to The Rock. Bischoff says Orton will get his rematch on WWE Saturday Night, and tells Batista that The Rock will be dealt with soon enough. 5. The Undertaker Vs. Booker T The Match: Taker was not in a good mood, obviously, and polished off Booker in 2:45 with the Last Ride. -Backstage, Brock Lesnar worked out and danced around, as he was sure he'd face Goldberg in the main event tonight! -Backstage, The Hurricane was sitting next to Triple H, who simply stared at him with a pathetic look. Hunter told him since they can't legally kick him out of Evolution, and Helms won't quit due to Bischoff's threat at the PPV, he didn't know what to do with him. Triple H then smiled, and said he knew exactly what to do with him. <commercial> -"Evolution" played as Triple H and The Hurricane headed to ringside. Triple H insinuated that tonight The Hurricane would show everyone just how great he was. Triple H proceeded to call out Kane, who didn't answer. Hunter called Kane a deformed circus reject, who'd never make it any farther than a "fire-shooting second-rate Halloween castaway". Kane's music erupted, as the Big Red Monster ran to the ring. Triple H clotheslined The Hurricane down and left him for Kane! 6. Kane Vs. The Hurricane The Match: The Hurricane defeated Kane by DQ in 3:58 when Kane plastered him with a chairshot in the ring. Kane had already beat him senseless outside the ring. -Backstage, Billy Kidman was walking to the entranceway...he ran into former lightweight great Dean Malenko! Malenko said he couldn't wait to see the top stars battle it out Wednesday at the WWE Cruiser Cup, and wished Kidman good luck tonight. Christopher Daniels interrupted Malenko, and told the "old timer" to stop boring him with this "little lovefest". Malenko got between Daniels and Kidman as Kidman's music hit, and it was time to go to the ring! WWE Cruiserweight Title Match 7. Billy Kidman © Vs. Christopher Daniels The Match: Christopher Daniels won the title after pinning Kidman following Dean Malenko's interference and cracking Kidman in the head with the belt. Post-Match, Malenko laughed at Kidman, as he & Daniels attacked the bloody ex-champion. Rey Mysterio ran in for the save, but was attacked by AJ Styles! Jamie Noble interfered and made it 3 on 3, but Tajiri ran in the ring and attacked Noble! A superstar we're being told is Canadian sensation Teddy Hart has entered the ring with a twisting moonsault press! Independent stars Vampiro and Trent Acid have also came down and entered this 10-man brawl!! Referees are breaking up the wrestlers, who all want at each other's throats! -Backstage, Bischoff announced that not only would Wednesday feature the Cruiser Cup...but the Cruiserweight Title would be on the line through the tourney, as well! Wow! -Backstage, The Hurricane was being loaded into an ambulance in a stretcher. Triple H laughed at him and asked if he had enough yet. Hurricane replied "No..." as Hunter looked furious. -Backstage, Brock Lesnar headed towards the entranceway as Eric Bischoff asked him where he was going. "To win my belt" replied Brock with a smirk. "Yeah..." Bischoff answered..."well...actually, I had someone else lined up the title shot... 05...04...03...02...01... BREAK THE WALL DOWN!!!!! Brock looked furious as Chris Jericho's music blared through the arena to a mixed reaction. World Heavyweight Title Match 8. Goldberg © Vs. WWE Update: -The WWE World Champion is Goldberg. Upcoing challenges are surely to come from The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and Evolution...can he fight them all off? -The WWE U.S. Champion is Batista. He is undefeated and has looked very impressive. -The WWE TV Champion is Randy Orton. He has looked decent in title defenses at each televised show. -The WWE Cruiserweight Champion is Billy Kidman. He regained the title at Armageddon. With tons of stars in this division, title longs surely can't last long. -We have decided to no longer have WWE Tag Team Champions. This will increase the emphasis of individual competition. -Kane has been on a rampage, and is undefeated. -The Big Show has improved greatly at house shows. -Both A-TRAIN and THE HURRICANE are rumored to have major gimmick changes soon. -Brock Lesnar is the #1 contender for the WWE World Title. -Expect several new stars to debut soon. -Expect a TOP JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHTS tournament this month! -The ROYAL RUMBLE comes to you early January, 2004!

The Dames' Diatribe on WWE Armageddon 2003

I disagree with very little, except: Orton/RVD was about **, and match of the night. It had a decent beginning/ending, sandwiches with Orton's rest hold circus. Michaels/Batista was about * 1/2, with some shady selling, a good HBK performance, and a lousy Batista effort. You TRASHED the main event, yet you overrated it. It was definately a negative star effort. The match had no flow. It was like an N64 No Mercy game match between two 8-year olds. PUNCH KICK KICK GO TO OUTSIDE PUNCH PUNCH Blown Table Break Kick Kick Punch, Knockdown, FINISHER!!!!!! FINISHER!!!!! RUN IN, Punch kick, LAY AROUND FOREVER, Punch, FINISHER, pin. It wasn't a wrestling match, it was 2 slow pieces of shit and one exciting wrestler who can't sell hitting each other. LAME and worth -* Terrible, terrible PPV and I'm sorry you had to review it.

Hurricane gets "Stern Talking to" Backstage

Fair? Uh, why would the other wrestlers have to take Hurricane's Vertebreaker? It's a cool looking move, but he doesn't protect the wrestlers, he's too small to safely do this to bigger guys, and uh...if the company that GIVES HIM A PAYCHECK tells him not to, then he SHOULDN'T. Hurricane's chokeslam was never a serious finisher. It only shoulda been used to illustrate his ORIGINAL gimmick, a comic-book "superhero" heel that tried to act super, like trying to chokeslam Big Show, but got his ass kicked. The chokeslam, if they decide it to be Kane/Show's finisher, should be their finisher. They've been using it way longer. I'm SO sick of people defending Shane Helms. There's a REASON he isn't on PPVs, not his "being used incorrectly". He fucking SUCKS. He's only on TV because he sells some merchandise to children. Let Hurri-Spot Blower and his fat untalented sidekick use their "stacked top rope splash" against La Resistance each week.

Hurricane gets "Stern Talking to" Backstage

TWO POINTS: 1)The Hurricane gimmick sucks. He is a joke. Liked his WCW 2001 stuff, hate his current work. I hope he's released and can wrestle in a cruiserweight environment and develop his entertainment value back elsewhere. 2) "Shane dominated Kane for months". Shut the fuck up. Shane got the upper hand in soe sneak attacks. Kane won the 2 matches. Who cares, anyway? Kane is a lubering, plodding SNOOZE-FEST. I hope he gets embarassed by someone of lesser size.

    Armageddon Match Ratings and Results

Uh, I went with my friends to a sports bar and wanted to see a good show. Instead, and they all (who are not all smarks) agreed that it was one of the worst shows they'd EVER seen in man years. Steiner/HHH Rumble > Kane/HHH/Goldberg Armageddon A bunch of heatless matches. A decent RVD/Orton that was boggled by endless restholds through the middle. Top match was *1/2-**, depending on your mood. How is that "our fault we went in thinking it would be bad". You sound like Vince, which is probably why your standard for good shows is so low.
  19. UseTheSledgehammerUh

    Armageddon Match Ratings and Results

Orton and Batista, as well as the Dudleys, Booker T, and Molly aren't undercarders, nimrod. Anyone that would be on the PPV anyway if their was no brand split, naely, uh...the CHAMPIONS and higher-tier wrestlers aren't undercarders. Just because those other guys you mentioned "got a PPV pay-day", doesn't mean the WWE has used them correctly. They're still unover and uninteresting, which is why shitty PPVs like this one are produced.

    Armageddon Match Ratings and Results

Coffey, you're out of your freakin' mind if you're trying to defend that main event. "Storyline"-wise or whatever the hell you're arguing, the match was the shits. Worse than 2000 WCW, just atrocious. HHH layed on the fucking mat for 3/4 the time....Kane botched moves and looked like shit...Goldberg actually looked like he knew what he was doing but the THREE OF THEM ARE SO FUCKING SLOW that it was insulting to watch. NO PSYCHOLOGY....Punch/Kick, Punch/Kick, Finishers. I was embarassed to be watching such crap in public.

I actually hyped Molly to my friends watching the show after she was surprisingly thrown in their, noting her in-ring-talent and awesome finisher. We saw neither. ** my fucking ass. Armageddon Match Ratings and Results

Here's the Low-Down on this ABORTION OF a PPV... 1. Henry Vs. Booker T was complete shit. Call it * for effort and the closeups of Henry's ugly mug. 2. RVD Vs. Orton was MATCH OF THE NIGHT at about * 1/2. Orton used 4 resthold sequences....jesus. The end was pretty damn good, and felt like an old-school IC title bout. RVD made to look like shit with the easy Orton victory at the end. 3. Lita and Trish Vs. Christian & Y2J was mildly entertaining...at about *. But it was a comedy match, and it was nothing special. 4. Batista Vs. Shawn Michaels. Batista dominated the entire thing with some nice back-selling by HBK. Michaels uses 2 kip-ups (sigh...) and the Chin Music to beat Dave. -Batista stays in the ring. 5. Maven Vs. Matt Hardy never happened. Maven is pummeled by Dave as the crowd sleeps. Matt Hardy, who is an awful, corny, unfunny piece of shit on the mic (but tolerable in the ring) impresses no one with his antics. 6. Superheros defeat La Resistance in a few minutes. Hurricane fucks up a spot big-time. 1/2 *. Cade & Jindrak roll up Jurricane in 3 seconds for the win DUD. Cade & Jindrak defeat Val & Storm. Actually kinda decent, if lacking heat. * 1/4 Dudleys finish off J & C, in a sloppy brawl. 1/4 *. Dudleys defeat Steiner * Test in an uninspired fight. * Bischoff announces Batista & Flair in the match, and Dave pins D-Von in 15 seconds. DUD. 7. Ivory Vs. Molly Holly was horendous, gaining 1/4 * for effort. Awful finish, awful match. 8. IN THE FUCKING HORRIBLE CAR WRECK MATCH, that was WORSE THAN ROYAL RUMBLE's RAW TITLE MATCH, HHH pins Goldberg after Kane chokeslams him. - ***. Just terrible. No psychology, blown spots, shitty moves all around. Jesus Chris this was the worst PPV I have ever seen, all around. ORTON with the MATCH OF THE NIGHT. Fuck you, RAW.

So anyway, about tonight: I hope: KANE wins. ORTON wins. TEST & STEINER win. JERICHO turns babyface. Booker/Henry get fired or sent to NWA-TNA. MICHAELS wins. I expect: Goldberg retains, pinning HHH. Foley screw Orton out of the win. Dudleys or Ar-Cade Suck-Drak wins. Jericho/Christian are made fools of. Booker/Henry gets 15 minutes. Batista wins w/ Flair's help. Yay. Off to the bar, seeya people.
