    Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Apocalpyse is overrated and sucks. First they made him Stryfe's bitch during "X-Cutioner's Song", and they turned him into such an old fart/shitty character in "Apocalypse: The Twelve". I did like the 80's when he was a bad-ass against X-Factor...well, sort of.

    WWE World Title Tourney

By the way, Mysterio/Edge was about ** 1/2, and ended in 7:13. THIRD BOUT, Triple Threat Match for the WWE Cruiserweight Title 3. Billy Kidman defeated Rey Mysterio and Tajiri to win the title. Kidman and Tajiri both targeted Rey's knee. Tajiri knocked the shit out of Kidman with an enzugiri! Kidman woke up later, hitting Rey with a springboard dropkick. Kidman takes over with a WICKED release German suplex on Rey and a unique DDT variation on Tajiri. Kidman enzugiri on Rey...who walks right into a Tajiri superkick for 2! Kidman hits Rey with a belly-to-belly for 2. Later, Rey spinkicks Tajiri into Kidman, who hits the sitout powerbomb and then a SHOOTING STAR PRESS for 2 until Rey makes the save! Double bulldog on Rey by Tajiri and Kidman soon after! Rey battles back! But Tajiri and Kidman hit a DOUBLE-TEAM LIGER BOMB, OH MAH GAWD! Tajiri hits the mist on Rey, but Kidman bulldogs Tajiri. Kidman hits the Shooting Star Press on Rey, and kicks Tajiri in the face right after! Cover on Rey by Kidman, 1-2-3!! Kidman becomes a 2-time cruiserweight champion at 13:45! Good bout, some blown spots, though. *** 1/2 -Backstage, The World's Greatest Tag Team talk strategy for their Tag Team Turmoil bout later. They're interrupted by Daniels & Styles, who are cocky going into the bout. FOURTH MATCH, "Knockout" Match 4. Kane defeated Rob Van Dam by knockout. Kane destroyed RVD with multiple chokeslams, a chairshot, a stop sign shot, throwing him into the ringpost, and kicking him in the face. Van Dam hit some spinkicks in this, but would also not give up. Kane choked Van Dam unmercilessly, until finally chokeslamming him for the knockout, on two stop signs! Match time was 6:12. * 1/2 TAG TEAM TURMOIL for the WWE Tag Team Titles Teams entered: Styles and Daniels, The World's Greatest Tag Team, Test & Scott Steiner, The APA, Val Venis & Lance Storm, and Chris Jericho & his MYSTERY PARTNER. The match: The APA are first out, and their opponents, Scott Steiner & Test! Brawling, not too bad. Bradshaw hits the clothesline from Hell on Steiner for the win at 4:12! * Next, The World's Greatest Tag Team are out. Faarooq dominated Haas, until Benjamin uses some footwork to take over. Haas hit a beautiful German suplex for the pin on Faarooq in 3:45. * Styles & Daniels are out next. Great little sequences with TWGTT. Finish sees Daniels hit his brainbuster on Haas, but Benamin hits Daniels off the top with an awesome flying shoulderblock. Styles in, and superkicks Benjamin. Haas scores with a fluke small package to pin Daniels at 8:32! *** Next, it's Lance Storm and Val Venis! Storm is on fire, hitting a superkick, half-Boston crab (The Canadian Crab), and Venis actually looks moticated later, with a superplex on Haas. TWGTT take over, as Haas hits rolling German suplexes on Storm. Finish sees Storm get a hot tag and connect with a heel kick for the upset pin on Benjamin! Finally, it's time for... 05...04...03...02...01...CHRIS JERICHO...and his partner... <START GAME> This can't be...Triple H! WWE World Tag Tea Titles: Triple H & Chris Jericho Vs. Lance Storm & Val Venis. -Jericho starts with Storm, and the two work a fast-paced style. Trips comes in, workin on Venis, and slowing things down. There is tension between Jericho, who the fans are solidly behind, and Triple H, who they hate. Finish sees Triple H hit the Pedigree on Storm...but Jericho clotheslines The Game to a big pop!!!! Venis gets in and connects with The Money Shot on Triple H for the 1-2-3!!!!! Jericho went to ringside and watched! Evolution rang to the ring (without The Hurricane) to help Trips afterwards, who was furious. -Backstage, Michael Cole insulted/interviewed The Hurricane, the reluctantly popular new Evolution member. Hurricane said he would use his position to his advantage, and Monday Night on RAW he challenged Randy Orton for the WWE Television Title!!! ::::The Mineke "MASH" of the Night sees Lesnar destroy Mark Henry on RAW:::

WWE ARMAGEDDON Live from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Wachovia Center. OPENING BOUT, WWE World Television Championship 1. Randy Orton pinned Eddie Guerrero to retain the title in 6:45 after a second "RKO". Decent, yet slow match. Eddie popped the crowd to start the show. Orton was carried as Eddie dominated early, but failed to hit the frogsplash early on. Orton's dropkick and suplexes connected. Eddie's attempt at a brainbuster was reversed, and Orton hit a great inverted DDT. The RKO got only 2. Guerrero fought back, with a tornado DDT and missle dropkick. Orton stayed in it, and capitalized on Guerrero's missed plancha with a clothesline on the outside. Shortly after. Orton hit a 2nd RKO for the pin. ** -Backstage, Eric Bischoff informed Kane that an opponent stepped up for the "knockout match" (Last Man Standing) tonight. Kane had a sick look on his face. -Highlights of Rey Mysterio winning the cruiserweight title at a house show, despite Edge's interference, were shown. Rey suffered injured ribs following a post-match attack from Edge. Second Bout, REVENGE MATCH, Non-Title 2. Edge pinned Rey Mysterio with The Downward Spiral. Mysterio dominated early on, almost winning in a minute with the West Coast Pop and a leaping tornado DDT! Edge cowered, yet later connected with a picture perfect spear on the injured ribs. The battle went to the outside, where Edge cracked Rey in the face with the cruiserweight title! Inside, Edge grounded Rey with several legholds. A full-nelson slam put Rey down for 2. Edge delivered The Downward Spiral on Rey, who was obviously in no shape to continue, for the 3 count. -Backstage, Tajiri spoke Japanese, excited about his chances of regaining the WWE Cruiserweight Title, after watching Mysterio lose. :::commercial for the 2004 WWE Royal Rumble, coming to you January 7, 2004!:::

One And Only TNA 12/3/03 Thread

What a waste this once happy promotion has become. "Locker room is like a family!" "Great X Division X-posure!" Now, like...NWA:TNA is like that guy who keeps getting told by the hot chick "yeah, we'll hang out soon" but they never do by Hulk Hogan. TNA sucks. The NWA died nearly 13 years ago.

    NWA 1990 Fantasy Scenario

Here's a few ideas for angles & feuds: Drop the U.S. Tag Titles, immediately. Add the Light Heavyweight Title. WarGames!! Did WCW even do one of these in 1990? NO ROBOCOP!!!! Don't let the Midnights break up, or I'll come and find you. DO have the York Foundation start early. Uhhh.... Fire JYD. Us Flair fans go back in history and see all of Flair's PPV/Clash results and see this: "Junkyard Dog defeated Ric Flair by DQ" at a Clash. That sickens me. Pillman, Zenk, R & Rs, Midnights, countless others, Light Heavyweight Title. The 1990-93 era never got its just due. Sign Scott Anthony (Flamingo) from GWF early. Do the Black Scorpion angle! I liked it. Then again, I like everything. Without it, we wouldn't get Paul E at Havoc 1990's line: "What? That can't be! The Scorpion...he was there, then he dissapeared, then he was over there!!! That can't be!" Let go of Tully...he doesn't fit in with 1990 WCW. ROCK ON, 1990 ruled.

    WWF/WWE DVD's from 5.98-9.98...

The WCW released are NOT jacked up. That's how much Warner Bros. (who took over WCW sales, like Bach at the Beach 2000 etc.) sells the for. The video store I used to work at wouldn't order the WCW titles because of the ridiculous price. VHS generally aren't priced to own much anymore. When they are (like 14.99 instead of 129.99), its a few months after the DVD release. Sucks, huh? 60.00 for KANYON Vs. MIKE AWESOME, smell the hatred!!!!

The Top 10 WWE Wrestlers of 2003

Curious, who do you rate as the Top Ten WWE Wrestlers of 2003? Take the following into account: 1)Workrate (Busting your ass constantly) 2)Missing time due to injury hurts rankings. Kurt Angle missed a few months, Steven Richards spent a few months getting dropped on his head by Heidenreich...which deserves a better ranking (Angle obviously due to other factors...but just saying, injuries take you down a few notches) 3)Working house shows. Being a "top wrestler" doesn't necessarily mean you're the top wrestler in the company. It also reflects performance off television to the fans. 4)Mainstream appeal. Media appearences and representation of the company make a superstar appear more valuable. Although the only people doing book tours, etc. are non-wrestlers... 5)Television exposure. If a wrestler is given the chance to perform weekly, he better bust his ass with good matches, psychology, workrate, selling, and making his opponent look good. So don't bash the usual suspects...take Mark Henry (who has NO place near this list). He sucks...but he did his job well the best he could (menacing attacks, looked credible in the ring, some-what). Henry's like #44 though, for me. I just don't want to see, say, Ultimo Dragon (who's had an awful year, exposure and IMO ring-wise) put over say, Christian, who has had a breakout year. Who is your OVERALL (RAW & SMACKDOWN) TOP TEN? Mine: 1. BROCK LESNAR. He's been totally healthy all year, and besides his great matches with Angle, he's gotten good (and energetic) singles bouts out of The Big Show and The Undertaker. He's represented the company as the top face at Rumble and WrestleMania, and was a monster heel at SummerSlam. He's put guys over (Benoit at SSeries), worked a clinic with Angle on TV (Smackdown Iron Man), worked nearly all house shows, and won 2 WWE World Titles. 2. EDDIE GUERRERO. He's been involved in some fantastic bouts all year, on PPV (WM 3-way, Backlash tag, Judgment Day tag, Vs. Benoit at Vengeance, got a decent match outta Show at NoMercy) and on TV (multiple tags Vs. TWGTT w/ Tajiri, Parking Lot Fight Vs. Cena, etc.) He's stayed pretty healthy, and established the U.S. title as a respected title (then Big Show destroyed it...sigh.) He's gotten great crowd responses, worked most house shows, and made the fans care about his character. He's put over The Bashams, and gotten people to care about Chavo. 3. KURT ANGLE. Was booked horribly during first 3 months of 2003, but put on ***** bout with Benoit at Rumble, and worked with a severely injured neck at Mania MAIN EVENT, putting over Brock. Returned with a face push and unexpectedly did not turn heel, putting on a serious face, delivering good promos, and working great bouts with Cena, Lesnar, Big Show, Lesnar/Show together, and a good bout on Smackdown Vs. Taker. Won WWE Title, and defended in good SSlam bout Vs. Lesnar. Got a really great effort against John Cena, and helped him gain notoriety with the fans despite HORRIBLE buildup. Angle's injuries have hurt him though, taking about 5 months total from him by year's end. 4. THE BIG SHOW. Show has had his best year ever, in terms of workrate, and has appeared everywhere for the Smackdown brand. His bout with Lesnar at the Rumble was quick, but served a purpose, and his Undertaker match at No Way Out was shockingly pretty decent. Show was booked pretty stagnantly until Judgment Day, where he put in a good performance in the Main Event with Lesnar. Helped bring Mysterio back out of the cruiserweight division for a bit by attacking him...Mysterio's involvement with Lesnar helped elevate him. Show has worked nearly all house shows, and Main evented in another stellar match with Lesnar/Angle. He may not have the workrate of the next guys on the list, but he's had MORE MEANINGFUL APPEARENCES, easily, and done quite well during them. 5. CHRIS JERICHO. Jericho and the next guy, Chris Benoit, were pretty close, but I gave the edge to Jericho solely based on more meaningful appearences, and uh...having to single-handedly carry RAW as the top heel while Triple H recovered from injuries or worked boring feuds with Nash/Steiner. Jericho added greatness to the Royal Rumble, before the hosses took over. His performance was better than Flair's in 1992, although the 1992 Rumble overall was better/more star-powered. He got a decent match out of f'n Jeff Hardy, on PPV! He rocked an awesome feud with Michaels, leading to a great "2nd place MOTY" bout with HBK at Mania. Y2J was the glue that held the HHH/Flair/Y2J V. Booker/Nash/Michaels feud together, and he was Goldberg's first real "on the roster" feud, helping Bill look good with a decent match. EVERYONE wanted Jericho to take the belt at SummerSlam, likely increasing buyrates somewhat. Jericho and Christian's iinvolvement with Austin led to an awesome 10-Man at SSeries. Jericho is easily the MVP of RAW...plus...he's gonna nail Trish, in some of RAW's best (or the only good...) segments lately. 6. CHRIS BENOIT. Benoit put on a clinic at the Rumble, a ***** encounter with Angle that was just great. Benoit then entered a period of awful writing, either being LEFT OF THE PPV ALTOGETHER, or put in opening 6-man bouts, or triple threat tag title matches. His work still shined on TV and PPV, despite the pathetic lack of match importance. Benoit put Big Show over in May, helping get Show back to Main Event status. He put over Cena in April, helping Cena get a WWE Title shot at Backlash. He also worked an exciting U.S. tourney final, allowing some prestige to go to the title. Benoit finally started to get things on track, DOMINATING A-Train in a series of bouts that made Train look less shitty, and culminating with Benoit's making WWE Champ Brock Lesnar tap cleanly at the Survivor Series. He could very well be the next WWE Champion. 7. SHAWN MICHAELS. Despite being semi-active both on TV and HOUSE SHOWs throughout the early half of 2003, Michaels ring-work has led to some brilliant bouts, including w/ Jericho at Mania and the Survivor Series 10-man. Michaels put over Y2J on RAW (although there was a lot of interference), Michaels put over Orton on pay-per-view, and also worked a good bout Vs. Flair at Bad Blood. He's a great live performer, always popping the crowd and generally being in exciting bouts. He even dragged a somewhat-decent bout out of Mark Henry. 1996 Michaels returned for the 2003 Survivor Series, and he has to be considered (along with Jericho) as RAW's elite. 8. THE UNDERTAKER. Taker has had up's and down's in 2003, but his ringwork has gotten much better. He wrestled Big Show to a decent contest on PPV, and helped put over The FBI as a serious stable (before they were depushed to Velocity...). Taker has missed some time due to nagging injuries, but in his return he worked a damn good old-school battle on PPV with John Cena, put him over twice on TV (perhaps it should have been on PPV, though...?), gotten trim, and had one of his best in-ring years. He couldn't possibly get higher than #9 due to feuding with oafs like A-Train repeatedly, ridiculous angles like "Kanyon as Boy George", "Brother Love Returns", and recently, the Buried Alive mess with Mr. McMahon. Still, a good year for The Deadman. 9. REY MYSTERIO. Rey's had a tremendous 2003, with some exciting stuff in the Rumble alongside Edge, a too-short but energetic effort Vs. Matt Hardy in the Mania opener, and a tremendous bout on Smackdown against Hardy where he took the Cruiserweight Title. Rey has helped make less-over talents get their due, as Tajiri has benefited from taking his title, and subsequent title defenses. Rey's "stretcher into ringpost" spot at Judgment Day was unique, if not disturbing when Show dropped him. Mysterio has even put over Ultimo Dragon in recent weeks. 10. JOHN CENA. Cena's ringwork is improving, and his charisma is rivaled by only Jericho and Michaels. Cena's ranking at #10 is due to his character development, from thug alongside Bull Buchanon to heel rapper to popular face rapper. Cena's worked most events, live or non-televised, and looked impressive in PPV matches against future hall of famers Undertaker and Kurt Angle. Cena's F-U of Big Show at SSeries was a "holy shit!" moment, and started the show well. Cena's matches Vs. U.S. Champ Eddie Guerrero were deliberate and entertaining, and his Parking Lot Brawl was exctiting. Hopefully, Cena's success will be rewarded slowly, with a capture of the U.S. Title before just throwing him in against Lesnar. Thanks... Let's see your comments or own lists.

As a big Corey Haim/Feldman fan, and a former video store clerk, I started a collection of those crappy (but fun) teen movies. There was always ONE, however, that was out of print on VHS, and I searched for 4 years to obtain. Best Buy fucking rules, and for 5.99 (after four McDonalds $1 coupons), BLOWN AWAY is now mine on DVD, beeyotch~! This movie fucking owns. It's a hardcore drama, with FIGHT SCENES, SHITLOADS OF NICOLE EGGERT NUDITY action, tension, explosions... ...and swerves galore! Vince Russo, himself, got all of his booking ideas from this movie, I swear. Undertaker Vs. Kane, Terri's turn on Dustin for Venis, Austin attacking Pillman with a gun...it's all here. Anyhoot, LOL, I'm happy I finally found it. Anyone else see/have it?

Fine, fine, Taker will destroy both of them!" Linda: "...VERSUS... Bischoff yells "No WAY! 3 men is enough for the main event! Who else do you have? VAN DAM? Let me guess, GUERRERO?" Linda: "This man....GOLDBERG!" <the fans pop and Bischoff falls to the ground, kicking and screaing> Goldberg runs to the ring and spears Bischoff!!!!! Evolution did the same, and Orton volunteered to replaced Batista in the tag main event. 4. Jamie Noble pinned Tajiri with a Tigerbomb. -The Undertaker called out his opponent before the commercial 5. WWE World Champion The Undertaker pinned Spike Dudley in a squash. The Top 10 WWE Wrestlers of 2003

Anglesault, with all due respect to that guy's list, I think he took a different approach...he posted a Top 10 "important" list or something...I guess Trips would rank high for his World Title list. I posted based on the criteria listed on who the true "Top 10" (MVPs...) of the WWE were this year. Angle, though injured (and noted), was certainly one of the biggest players for me.

Top Ten Matches in WWE in 2003...

    1. Benoit Vs. Angle (Royal Rumble) 2. Jericho Vs. Michaels (WrestleMania) 3. Team Bischoff Vs. Team Austin (Survivor Series) 4. The World's Greatest Tag Team Vs. Rey Mysterio & Billy Kidman (Vengeance) 5. Kurt Angle Vs. Brock Lesnar (SummerSlam) 6. Chris Benoit Vs. Eddie Guerrero (Vengeance) 7. Kurt Angle Vs. Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania) 8. Brock Lesnar Vs. Kurt Angle (Smackdown! Iron Man) 9. The World's Greatest Tag Team Vs. Los Guerreros Vs. Chris Benoit/Rhyno (WrestleMania) 10. TIE---. Triple H Vs. Rob Van Dam (RAW, week before Kane loses mask). Triple H Vs. Ric Flair (May) I don't see the love for Jericho/HBK on RAW. It was one of the most boring matches I've seen in years. COMMERCIAL during the Walls? Restholds galore...yuck. I hate to put THREE Lesnar/Angle matches on here...but honestly, it's been a shitty year...with only one match hitting *****. Honorable Mentions: Best Women's Match of the Year: Trish/Victoria/Jazz from WrestleMania. Also, the Los Guerreros V. TWGTT and Eddie/Tajiri V. TWGTT matches were incredible, but lacked the emotion (in my mind, anyway) needed when being put on a "TOP" list. They were BETTER matches than a few of the TopTen matches, definately...I just like the others a lil' better. Thanks.
