I liked this match, but its probably one of least popular wwf/e titles matches in WM history (ahead of Bundy/Hulk, Bret/Yoko I, Sid/Taker). The celebration rocks...and Owen coming out is Awesome. I JUST BEAT YOU, I SHOULD BE THE CHAMP. Leading into Bret/Owen, the Greatest Cage Match ever (imo...). 1994 had some cool title scenarios.

I bet The Hurricane thought he might actually make the PPV card when called in for that commercial. And I bet Rodney Mack gets a chuckle watching Hurricane "destroy" giant football players...

I'd like to get a picture of Savage and Nash from their NWO run side-by-side...Savage in those ridiculous outfits, especially the coats, and Nash and the leather pants = Team Tassel.

Yeah, Douglas rocked those bad boys back in the day. In WCW '92 he also had the bad-ass acid-washed DENIM JACKET. Plus the "Belly-to-Belly" that "Magnum TA himself helped him perfect". I was a big Steamboat/Douglas mark, probably my favorite of the different teams Ricky had.

I liked Velocity tonight. Orlando Jordan just ISNT growing on me. He has potential though. Kanyon is a lost cause. He is a talented and likeable worker, but he's been a WWE joke and just isn't very interesting to me. Didn't like the match. Billy Kidman Vs. Rhyno. Thought it'd be super-boring. It was actually pretty decent. Kidman worked well and Rhyno meshed well with his style. We got to see some of each guy's high-profile moves, and Rhyno gets the Gore for a clean win. The Cat is returning. Urgh... Spanky/London Vs. the jobbers. The shaved head guy actually worked very well. The long-haired guy was kinda dull. This match had to be super-piped in because the crowd EXPLODED for EVERY impact move, even for the jobbers. I liked the match, we got to see each team perform a lot of manuevers, no blown spots, and a good show of London and the shaved head guy (Murray something?)'s abilities. Bill DeMott was pretty good...much better than Ernest Miller, and a change from Tazz (who I like, a bit). He pointed out crucial strategies in the match and sold the wrestlers moves well. Tajiri/Moore was good, if kinda heatless. Seems Moore is being pushed more as a face... Thoughts?

Tassels were hit or miss for me...see Kerry Von Erich's WWF run...ugh. Looked like he taped pom-poms to his boots. But to the topic, Vince pushing Spanky and London to the belts will never happen. Spanky has been used as fodder in nearly every appearence (Taker kills him, Brock kills him, ass-kicked at Bar Fight, Jobbing in the 6-man at Judgment Day...) and London, while a fresh face, hasnt been established as a player and needs a little better look. Plus, to Vince, they're hobbits.

London needs to grow the hair out, too... Neon tights rocked. The black/green trim WM 7 digs were always my favorite, WM 6 close behind.

Why do all the OVW hosses have to use the sitout powerbomb. Batista (who BTW, is decent on the mic, I'll give the oaf that)....and now "Matt Morgan", the most exciting name ever. Morgan's crappy impact was very impressive, and makes me want to order the PPV.

RAW was boring. Say what you will about a few funny moments, a decent tag, and a decent ME, this show sucks. It was much better than the recent year's crapfests, but does not warrant any praise. 1) What is the deal with Lita? Her music, which used to just SUCK, is now sucky and annoying, with the ridiculous SCREAMING ABOUT YOUR RULES MANNNNN repeated. And her ring skills blow, which has her heat almost gone. Back to Heat soon for you, Amy...a road less traveled by people with talent. By the way, I checked out Lita's book at the store...the first page I opened to had a typo IN THE HEADING. Nice work. 2)Lance Storm. The guy had great heat two weeks ago, and now comes out to generic rap crap, dances to no pop, and gets killed by Roid Zilla. Nice work. By the way, when JR was throwing verbal BJs to IC champs, great job of mentioning Storm. Not like you want the fans to take him seriously... 3)Survivor Series 10-man tag. The Good: It allows Smackdown's superior workers to have more matches. The Bad: IT WONT...because the writers will find someway to fill the matches at the PPV with "Orton Vs. Maven: Respect Match" or some filler crap.

Hey, I was at that abortion of a show. I'm in the front row behind Mabel during his coronation speech, and getting nailed with sodas/quarters/beers from the enraged crowd. Blue shirt, blonde hair...what was I, 12.

I guess I'm a whiny bitch that expects better from RAW than you. If you like watching old man heat-dog Michaels fighting Goldberg, where you know a title change won't occur, the two of them are barely cared about by the crowd, and the product is a "big gold belt", ahem, "title" match, then by all means, enjoy it. But I'll be angry until the stupid brand extension is finally ended, as the company will never even get close to greatness until it happens. Raw sucked...Kane's promo was well delivered, though. But what is this, 1990? "I'm gonna rip out your intestines!"

Hey, I guess I am a "newbie" as far as posting goes....but Ive been reading this board and reading this particular wave of a site ever since the Rantsylvania.com days...so chill. I've also worked for northeast independents and probably know more about the business than you. I made the "Raw Thoughts" not to demean the "one and only" thread, but to give a thread for thoughts the day after, so we wouldnt have to drudge through 37+ pages of Live Raw comments. Thanks.

Triple H is the savior of Raw. For you see, though he puts no one over and is injured quite often, he's the only credible character on the show. Jericho/Christian = Beaten by non-wrestling boss. Made to look like tools. Hurricane/Rosey = Squashed, stupid gimmicks. Henry = Lumbering clown. Bischoff = Eats 90-year old crotch. Steiner/Test/Stacy = MegaPowers 2k3...without heat. Storm = dancing poor man's Shamrock. Orton's got the look, but not the talent. Goldberg and Michaels have done all they can, but remain one-dimensional/incorrectly booked, and washed up, respectively. Lets not forget the stale Dudleyz. and La Resistance...while boring and lacking skill, at least seemed unbeatable. The team of Grenier/DuPree only suffered ONE pinfall loss, a non-title Heat match. Now they've got Conway, who reminds me of Rocky Maivia/Buff Bagwell, in terms of skill. Maven, a vanilla midcarder. Nash, who has always sucked. Who else do we have? Booker T? He's never been booked as someone who can "get it done"...it took him half a year's feud to win the damn Raw Tag Titles last year! That reign lasted 2 weeks.

My head is starting to hurt...so according to the booking sheet, Lita is going to give in to being a whore and bang Nowinski at the Evolution Mansion...and then become friends with Jindrak, helping him overcome his green-ness and love for Cade... Hey, as long as they're not in the ring.

This thread is a joke. To see someone saying "Perfect! He's a good pick to die! We haven't seen that guy in a while!" etc. is really sick, and shows you aren't a wrestling FAN, but rather someone trying to make his life better by trying to be "funny" on a message board. Bashing HHH is one thing (and it'll do you no good...), but wishing or saying someone's death would be cool is bogus, and makes you look like scum, man.

They can have a 10-man tag (ala WM 10) with Benoit, Guerrero, London, Spanky and Mysterio against Hardy, Moore, Haas, Benjamin, and Tajiri and then cancel it due to the length of the tag title match...where the Bashams will defend against the APA...and Shaniqua Polo will get them intentionally counted out.

Angle should be thanking his stars that he is working with Cena. He doesn't need Cena for the match quality, obviously...but after MONTHS of working with The Big Slug and Lesnar (who has talent, but again, the charisma aint there), Angle has been watered down to a german suplex throwing 80's babyface. "I'm gonna beat you up, Brock! Whooo!" Boring. Cena, while not yet a solid main eventer (but a few months'll change that), has a fresh gimmick, and decent enough workrate that he'll actually elevate Angle from a no-character great worker to either a funny-retaliating great worker, or HOPEFULLY, a heel that gets bested by a wisecracking fresh-face Cena. And no, by wisecracking, I don't mean "Cena writes Waynes World signs" ala Edge to piss off Angle. Angle needs Cena, baby.
