Re: Loser Leaves Town Only if MVP wins the title before WrestleMania. Benoit wouldn't agree to such a match AND put his title on the line. And they'd totally bury Benoit by having him drop two straight. Methinks Benoit wins by DQ or something at Mania. Every classy WM has a bullshit countout/DQ finish. Eh, I dunno. _________ You know...it's been 2 years.... LET'S SHAKE THINGS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Seriously, not even Hogan, the biggest draw in the ever, had a streak like that." Missed two main events due to technicalities, I guess...but Hogan was in the most hyped WM match at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, split on 8, and 9 (tag title match was hyped more than Bret/Yoko).

"Did Flair ever have any official matches against the NWO?" Ric Flair and Chris Benoit main evented Nitro in a WCW World Tag Title Match against the Outsiders. Nash pinned Benoit after a big boot of death. Flair worked Syxx on the house show tour during Summer '97, and Road Wild '97. Flair & Hennig worked Konan and Syxx at Clash 35. And had another Vs. nWo tag on Nitro together. Flair Vs. Hennig was on PPV during the fall of '97. Flair Vs. Hogan for the WCW World Title was Clash 33's main event. Plenty more. Flair Vs. Hogan main evented SuperBrawl 9. And UnCensored '99. And Flair/Hollywood/Sting/DDP at Spring Stampede '99. Flair Vs. Bischoff at Starrcade '98.

"Title or no title, he has been the center of attention more often than not." Is that a bad thing? Well, let's see what he's done... GOOD 1. Put Batista over at WM 21. 2. Put Batista over in what Triple H claimed was "his match". Cemented Batista as a huge face. Also did the job at Backlash. 3. Came back, competed in a compelling bloodfeud with Ric Flair. Put over (this sounds so wrong...) Ric Flair **AND** the crummy Intercontinental Title at Taboo Tuesday. Won feud ultimately, but he should have. It's old man Flair. 4. Was an intrical part of the boring 2005 Royal Rumble. Gave Rey some main event rub by letting him eliminate him. 5. Put over John Cena in a match the internet guaranteed Cena would be crushed in at WM 22. This began Cena's legitimate main event run against serious contenders and not guys you didn't think would get the belt, ala Christian, Jericho, and Angle. 6. Had excellent match with Cena and Edge at Backlash, again putting Cena over. 7. Generated serious interest from marks and many smarks as DX's return was speculated. 8. Generated tremendous merchandise sales from marks with DX merchandise. BAD 1. Putting the title on Triple H at WM 22 would've been bad. Hurt the product by having the rabid anti-Cena fanbase cheer for him to get the belt by default. "Lesser of two evils" is never productive booking. 2. Irritated smarks with lame, corny "DX skits" and constant one-upping of the McMahons. 3. All but destroyed any credibility the Spirit Squad had. But really, before working DX, the squad was cheating to win against teams like Eugene & Duggan. 4. More horrible DX skits. Deserves another point just for some awful summer/fall Raws.

Umaga still doesn't have a lot of crowd heat. There's usually crickets chirping when his music plays. And this is coming from a big fan of his gimmick/work.

Iron Man: Director of Shield #15 is pretty fun. It's 24 meets Marvel, only Jack has a robot suit and Chloe is an old man hippie.

If Holly winning the title means we don't get Mark Henry returning and taking 5 minutes to remove the door, then so be it. -

Between NIRVANA in a MLB commercial and Donald Trump saying "ECW", it's been a wacky crossover night. -

"I hate to say this but this hasn't be a bad RAW at all." Definately, lots of character development (Nitro, HBK/Cena, Khali bumps, Kane looks vicious, Hardy gets his winning ways back). Throw in Maria's outfit, maybe one more decent undercard match, an inspirational Flair promo to Carlito, and a good to very good tag title match, and that's a helluva show. -

I still feel the point of this angle on NBC's side is not to see Vince bald, but for Donald to get "TRUMP'D!" over with a young fanbase. -

"That was a nice concerned fan shoot at least." The Philadelphia RVD mark that saved up for years to see WWE Champion RVD live during "BUSTED!" week he was not, though.
