The promotional poster for Eragon screamed Uwe Boll or Sci Fi Channel, so that's believable. -
Plus, it's Ted Turner's company taking money from Vince.

Apocalypto easily was better than any film this year. The attention to detail and scenery was probably the best I've ever seen in a film. -
I dunno, maybe SNL's "It's Pat" would.

The original has older footage, whereas the newer one starts covering matches from the 3-hour PPV era and forward.

Once it gets announced it'll still take like 2 months to come to pass, so no sense speculating on speculation. But two hours might, maybe, who knows...let them allow the X Division Comedy All-Stars to actually...WRESTLE A MATCH ONCE A MONTH.

Matt's obviously crying for help about his sexuality, people. Why else act all "offended" about hearing that a guy's jerking off yet randomly throw in another equally shitty little story about seeing your buddy naked? Suck 'em, don't be afraid!

What's with WWE and undefeated streaks?

Brock won the belt from The Rock and only had a DQ loss to his name at the time, never pinned in WWF. Flair won the belt at the Rumble and only had DQ/countout losses, he had never been pinned in WWF. -
CZW Returns on January 13th with big Arena show...
UseTheSledgehammerUh posted a topic in General Wrestling
From CZWrestling.com and CZWFans.com/board CZW NEWS UPDATE - JANUARY 13th SHOW EDITION by EdOMac CZW's January 13th Return - Huge New Match Announced and Big News! Coming off of a great Cage of Death VIII event that saw new World Tag Team Champions, some impressive debuts, and an exciting final goodbye to the wrestling career of the "Ultraviolent Icon" Zandig, CZW has some shocking news to start off the new year right. Just as last year's January show kicked off 2006 with the first confrontation between CZW and ROH, this year's show looks to deliver an epic World Title bout, the first one-on-one confrontation between two rivals who want to KILL each other, and the return of one of CZW's greatest teams in its history. On January 13th, Combat Zone Wrestling returns to The New Alhambra, with the following already announced: CZW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - All-Star Vs. Savior CZW World Champion "The Ultraviolent All-Star" Justice Pain defends against "The Savior of CZW" Chris Hero CZW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP CZW World Tag Team Champions The Original Blackout (Rainman & Onyx) defend against The BLKOUT (Ruckus & Sabian) w/ "Primo" Robby Mireno & Chrissy Rivera CZW WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP CZW World Junior Champion Jigsaw returns to defend against long-time arch-rival "The Dark Minion of the Underworld" Hallowicked AND... CZW wishes to announce the following for January 13th...which can NOT be missed: First Time Ever One-on-One! CZW IRON MAN CHAMPIONSHIP CZW Iron Man Champion "The Missionary of Violence" LuFisto steps into the ring to finally settle things with "The Future of Hardcore" Nick Gage CZW Promoter Hon. Maven T. Bentley, esq. contacted CZW News Update to explain that both LuFisto and Nick Gage have demanded this match finally take place. We'll have a LOT more on this story in the next week at CZWrestling.com, including a detailed look at the history between the two and what each one's plans are for January 13th! Also...on January 13th... One is a traffic-cone wielding, chair-slamming, knockout-inducing wildman from "God Damn, West Virginia" with an appetite for blood and carnage... One is a head-shaking, crazed, hardcore lunatic who will bleed to succeed and has been biding his time in preparation to return to the wars of the Combat Zone... On January 13th - The Tough Crazy Bastards are back. The Necro Butcher and "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein will once again form one of the most destructive and violent teams in wrestling history on January 13th, live at the New Alhambra Arena. Who are they after? Why have they chosen now to reform their brutal team? We hope to find out more on this subject...but dealing with these two can be...an issue. Look for much more information to come shortly about this huge event as we prepare to kick off the new year with a huge CZW event! -
Is Garcia still nailing former 2004 Diva Search Runner Up/Playmate of the Year Carmella DeCaesar?

I usually attend five 76ers games a year, and went to 10-12 from 1999-2002, and will stop that trend if Brown is re-hired. Seriously. He abandons ship and then tries to jump on when the ship is already at the bottom of the ocean? Be gone. This 76ers young core CAN NOT PLAY DEFENSE WHATSOEVER. What difference would Brown make? This isn't a young team with workhorse defenders anymore. It's a bunch of average NBA players who occassionaly make enough shots to win, like 1 out of 5 games. Brown wouldn't make a difference unless he was brought in for say, the 2009 season after lots of draft picks were to be made.

Re: Masterlock No wrestler on television has ever broken Masters' grip of the Masterlock. He's broken it by releasing it, but everytime it was voluntary. So that's one example of WWE not being revisionist. WM 21 pre-show dark match battle royal is a dark match. It doesn't count and was done as a special live show cute reward. IMO, it was pretty stupid to do the spot since they eventually put it on DVD. -
I just saw Carlito's Way for the first time ever the other night (I saw someone had it on their list). For the most part, I really liked it. The ending chase scene was really great. I did not like the prologue and its foreshadowing, nor did I like how the film blatantly came off as Scarface Lite. But the cast was exceptional. Calling something Scarface Lite isn't a bad thing. I'd give the flick a solid B+.

How do I see your Mii Character? In the address book, everyone's name is gray, a couple in black, no avatars at all. Only my guy is at my selection screen, Wii Parade doesn't work b/c "nobody's there".

It's because his name is "GROSSMan", they can't market it. I don't see how anyone could entertain the possibility of removing Grossman or having a "controversy" start, stupid ESPN. Even dumbass Salisbury should know that Grossman, desite looking great on the field, still keeps the team winning.

Maybe that Japanese prefer Pokemon as a "travel" game (road trips, school, grandma's house) and aren't thrilled with playing it on the TV. Hogging up the TV for a game as extensive and endless as Pokemon can be an issue. See: Poke'mon Stadium

I just wanted to say that Tony Romo going to the Pro Bowl NOT as a reserve is an absolutely disgrace to the league. For Donovan McNabb not to get a bid, and then placed on IR, is insulting, given Donovan's stats, leading the league for most of his time on the field. To not come off as a homer, I provide you with the FOLLOWING statistics: DONOVAN MCNABB in 9 games started (he was injured early on in the 10th game) 180 out of 316 passes completed. 57 % 2647 Yards 8.38 Yards per pass 18 TDs 6 INTs 44 passes of over 20 yards 14 passes of over 40 yards QB Rating - 95.5 TONY ROMO in 9 games started. 197 out of 305 passes completed. 64.6 % 2582 Yards 8.47 Yards per Play 17 TDs 12 INTs 37 passes over 20 yards 7 passes over 40 yards 93.4 QB Rating Seriously. What should have happened: Donovan gets a bid and is replaced by Romo. Gotta love the NFL! "oooh, new clean-cut white guy on America's Team! Maybe we can get a crossover with American Idol! Announcers: Blow him!" I almost feel bad for Romo. He seems to have a nice future, but I think he's getting the God push way too fast and the expectations are going to hinder his progress. He'll make mistakes like any QB, but they'll be under a huge magnifying glass.

On WCW Saturday Night, "Ravishing" Rick Rude beat the hell out of Ricky Steamboat after Steamboat slapped Rude's manager/kayfabe bang-buddy Madusa, who was interfering in one of his matches.

The Masterlock got broken for the first time ever on a throwaway show? WHAT? -
How anyone could see Triple H, Edge, or especially Orton, who have strictly been packaged as TAG TEAM WRESTLERS winning the Rumble astounds me. Taker is winning it. No one watches/purchases Smackdown! shows and they need him elevated back up to "dominant" status to make Batista/Taker not seem like it should be the main event for No Way Out. Cena should still get the main event of Mania, though. He's the biggest name and biggest draw. (On the subject of WM, remember last year when everyone guaranteed Orton wins the Rumble. And then the Rey spoiler broke. And then everyone guaranteed HHH would put Cena out of his misery at Mania. Oh wait, he'll actually do it at Backlash... I hope the bookers fuck with the internet again.

My 76ers just put up an impressive 32 points in the first half! Somewhere in the world, Dana Barros, Jeff Hornacek, Sharon Wright, Shawn Bradley, 'Spoon, Jeff Malone, and Vernon Maxwell are like "Damn...these guys suck!"

Apparently it could DETECT my wireless router but the signal wasn't able to reach the Wii to update. I bought the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector (Nintendo DS packaging) and installed it to my computer, right near the Wii, and everything is fine. Got Zelda '87, Mario 64, and one more to come. Watching music videos on my TV. I love this thing.
