I hate TNA. It's booking is beyond the awfulness that was WCW 2000-01. But guess what? For the most part, I liked this week's show! - Angle/Joe: Done Well. - Naturals: Deservedly lose. I can't think of what calls for them to be pushed, perhaps naked Borash pictures. - Daniels/Styles: Look good as a team, nice tandem offense. - Styles: Interesting heel turn that makes sense. Fuck off Rhyno, stop bothering me. (Note: This must end, Russo-wise, in a Styles/Rhyno team, of course, as heels.) - Cornette on Commentary: Relaxes my ears from the worst duo in announcing history. - Sting/Christian: Decent quickie TV match. However, giving this away FREE on a HOLIDAY? Meh. - Voodoo Kin Mafia: Actually, as poor of workers they are, and washed up, I don't hate their skits as much as I hate DX's. Don't know what the point is, but whatever. Needs better lighting. If they were to get 2 hours, things would be better. I'm not going to do the usual "OMG, LONG TERM STORYLINES ARE HURT BY RUSSO BLOWING HIS WAD! OMG, STRIP LAX OF TITLES? JOE/ANGLE GOES 11 MINUTES?" rant that most so-called TNA "fans" do. I could care less about TNA's future. I want good wrestling every month on PPV. And good TV storylines. TNA did that this week. Styles/Christian was a good match. Christian/Rhyno cage match was a good match. Joe/Angle was a good match. Sabin/Daniels was a good match. I don't care that they're screwed long-term and that the production is "C Level" (Raven using a purple kendo stick to give Devine "welts" was the most insulting thing ever...), they're giving away good matches so I tolerate TNA. Good Impact show.

OAO Survivor Series Thread - November/26th/2006.

Orton always crushes HHH and HBK in Survivor Series Elimination matches and I'd love nothing more for Philly, a once smart town now filled with DX-loving marks and Cena fans, to wisen up for one night and boo DX unmercifully. I like how they use Simmons' 2000-01 photo. I've got club box seats for this, the team matches will be fun, but the Women's Title, Legends Match, and Smackdown! matches BLOW. Benoit/Chavo? Batista/Booker? Ugh. I loathe both challengers. Mickie and Lita, "Lumberjack" stuff aside, tried to have an important, serious, near-fall wrestling classic at Taboo Tuesday and really stunk up the joint. And the legends aren't people I am fond of, at all. -

UPDATE ECW and SmackDown to invade RAW? By Craig Tello November 20, 2006 Just hours before Raw goes live, reports are that all members from all Survivor Series teams will be present in Baltimore tonight. This includes competitors from both ECW and SmackDown. If the rumors are true, it could be a very volatile situation just six days before Survivor Series. Suspicions were amplified as WWE.com witnessed CM Punk – a member of Team DX – step into a taxi at a downtown Baltimore hotel, and the spotting of the Extreme Giant Big Show at a local restaurant earlier. Could the ECW World Champion and Survivor Series team captain be in town for tonight’s edition of Raw? What does this mean for the Raw roster on hand at the First Mariner Arena in Baltimore? -

European date numbering is so lame. Well to me. I'm sure ours looks silly to you. Why can't we just be universal? The World Tag, IC, Women's, and Cruiserweight Titles are all heatless props that mean nothing, BTW. Come to think of it, probably only Cena's Title actually means anything these days, as every other Raw/Smackdown/ECW/TNA title is thrown around like a used tampon. I'd like a long, 25-minute, 2 commercial IC Title match, since it's really the only hot angle they have, but I wouldn't expect either the champion or challenger to be capable of working such a match. I wonder who the replacement legend will be? Probably Duggan or someone disappointing. -

Angle/Joe was really good and had a great atmosphere. Time doesn't matter. There's at least 2 big fights left, they'll build on each other. Now Joe gets to be the face, Angle was the big face for this match. -
I'm going to see Borat and Saw III tonight, so there's $8 for each.

The ending of Eagles/Titans was so fitting. Watch it on the recap shows.
-
Garcia, on 3rd & 2 w/ 3 min left, runs 10 yards into the backfield and throws it out of bounds. 4th and 2 is another shitty Garcia pass incomplete. RUN THE DAMN BALL, ANDY REID.
-
No, Brett's one of the top 5 QBs ever. He's just not been good for a while and is majorly washed up. Meanwhile, workhorse Westbrook tries to pull off a miracle all by himself.
-
Favre's been a crappy INT throwing has-been since at least the 2003 season. He should have retired after launching a pick to a wide open Eagle at the end of the '03 NFC Divisional playoff. But it's not like it'd matter, GB is a sub-mediocre team, so I guess Favre draws in some fans.

The Eagles alledgedly scored a TD or something. After botching a snap on a field goal earlier, which I'm sure will hurt them. Who cares, Jeff Garcia should be sent back to whatever hole he came from. This is depressing.

CZW "Cage of Death VIII" Line-Up Revealed for Dec. 9th

COD 3 is still the largest crowd in ECW Arena history, I do believe. -
Jeff Garcia still sucks, for anyone wondering, and the Titans are squashing the Eagles at home, 24-6.
-
7-6 Titans lead Eagles in a thriller. The Eagles offense this week is like watching a retarded kid play Madden.
-
Not true. Troy Aikman loves the Eagles.

"Why do I always feel like Joe Buck hates my team?" Because Joe Buck is a baseball announcer who should never call a football game, a terrible announcer at that, and has only one purpose: blowing the New York Yankees. Any attempt by him to "call" another game will just feel like an insult to any fan, as you actually grow stupider listening to him. Seriously, I feel that Joe Buck "hates" the Eagles/Phillies when he calls their games, because he's a prick and if it ain't NY< it couldn't possibly be the most important, oh no! I advise you to turn down the TV volume and turn on your local radio broadcast of the game, as most Philadelphia fans do.

Card updated as of 11/19. -
Jeff Garcia's longest pass range appears to be 3 yards.
-
Donovan just kinda fell after a slight shove from a Titan. Well, Jeff "I am still a starter" Garcia, man up and do it for Carmella. McNabb's has a "right knee injury" and is being evaluated.
-
McNabb to Westbrook, TD pass. Gets challenged, Westbrook's knee found down at the 1/2 yard line. McNabb, on the 1/2 yard line, RUNS A PLAY ACTION (?!?!?!?!?!?!), then throws a little bloop pass INTERCEPTION. More wonderous play calling.
-
Thank goodness for a fumble inside the Titans own 11, and awful Titan penalties, because Philly Offense is asleep and their D looks bad, too. I'm thinking they take Tenn. out by the 3rd, though. Despite playing two good teams really close, the Titans are one of the NFL's worst teams.

TNA/Spike TV Conference call recap

Monty Brown never recovered from losing to Jarrett on free TV back when Brown was mega-over, I believe shortly before a PPV, involving lots of guitar shots.
