NO MERCY THOUGHTS: Bad show with a great main event. EXCELLENT main event. Perfectly excuted and makes Orton legit now. At least as legit as the guy who gets the belt after Cena without beating him can be. The Punjabi Match was better than it should have been, but still not very exciting. Spider-Batista! The 6-Man was botched all over the place, and Kennedy looked terrible. Disappointing. Women's Match finish was weak. Average. That promo was horrendous. Trips/Orton I was okay. Good booking. Pizza Eating was god awful. Taker/Kane needed to chokeslam both of them through the table. Triple H/Umaga was dissapointing. Umaga needs quicker bumpers. Finlay/Rey was average. Stretcher Match at Cyber Sunday I reckon.

Don't blame me for the comparison, blame WWE for booking them for the fans. It's not like I said either has the talent of the original. CM Punk is getting squashed tonight. In Chicago.

Today marks 10 years of Kane and Hell In The Cell

"was that where Taker was in the cage with Bearer with Kane trying to get in?" Stunner to Kane on top of the cage by Austin! Followed by lots of chairshots! Mankind gets launched into the cage down the ramp while on a stretcher. Yeah, Taker sneaks in and pummels Bearer to a bluddy pulp. Man, what a hot time for Raw. -
"Well, I think that's the first time I've seen Viscera compared to Vader" From the promo packages this/last week, it's obvious that's what they're going with. He's over-doing the "V" hand-signals, just like Big Van Vader used to, standing above his opponents ina similar way. Plus he's got the singlet, clubbing forearms, big splash...he could really work as this generation's Vader, although obviously nowhere near as talented. With Matt Striker as Harley Race!

Go to a Blast Area, they show the PPV on multi-screens to a WWE crowd. Big Daddy V winning a World Title and squashing Punk ala Sting/Vader '92 is gonna rock.

Sad day for the Phillies, but oh well. Congrats to the Rockies. Phillies bats were flat, and guys like Howard, Utley, etc. had an awful series. Still, got to go to a Phillies playoff game and the season was awesome, so hope they come back with some more pitching next year and get to the NLCS! The Mets fan quoting a Phillies fan post is just laughable, since your team still didn't make it. Phillies just ran into a better team. Mets just ran into bad teams and couldn't beat them. For every shot at the Phillies you take, just remember, they are better than the Mets and the NL East Champs! Whoo! Mets off to an hot off-season by re-signing Big Willie Style!

"Granted, the 2nd" Actually, the 2nd HIAC Match is Steve Austin & The Undertaker Vs. Kane & Mankind from Raw is War. The week before KOTR '98. -
Most Important/Influential Matches of All Time

Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Vince McMahon, Raw, April 1998, Philadelphia. This angle and tease led WWF Raw is War to win the ratings from Nitro for the first time in a year and a half. -
The silhouette of the "mystery" wrestler with the WWE Title on wwe.com is a picture of Jamie Noble colored in gray. And you thought the win over Yang was a "filler" match! GIVE RIC FLAIR THE TITLE. And have him declare he'll retire when someone beats him for it. Buyrates will actually go up. Every match could be his last.
-
The only thing worse than the Rockies in the playoffs is their mascot - the Purple Dinosaur. He just screams "ass sex".
-
Well that's bullshit. Holliday never touched the plate. PHILLIES Vs. ROCKIES - The match-up everyone predicted at the start of 2007...
-
Ha, that Tuna Coors Light Commercial was awesome and makes me smile after McNabbs >14 yards of offense.
-
Tell him that if he starts a fight he might come into work flat the next day, like his Mets.

CELLLLLL EBRATE GOOD TIMES, C'MON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES ARE THE NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MVP JIMMY ROLLINS!!!!!!!!! THE TEAM TO BEAT! Oh man, I hope Peavy gets worked over tomorrow. Rather play the Padres than Rockies, honestly, with a tired Peavy out til Game 3. "shorter pitching staffs" Let's go with a 2-man rotation in Philadelphia...if only Cole and Kyle could alternate throwing arms every game! Sorry don't mean to come off as an annoying Damaramu but I'm just fucking excited for a post-season for the first time since I was a little kid. With a LOVEABLE team that will NOT die!!!!! For the first time in 20 years, Tom Glavine hit a pitcher with a pitch. 2nd time in 20 years he hit a batter with the bases loaded. Unreal.
-
Aww shit tomorrow's gonna be crazymadness. Damn you Nationals!
-
Crowd COMES alive! 2 on, c'mon, Victorino!
-
ROWAND says "RE-SIGN ME!" but the damage may be done. This Philly crowd blows, BTW. Glad I didn't stand in line to be there. Last year was the hot crowd game of the year, edging out the insane 11-10 comeback Mets win from a month ago ('til tomorrow).

No way, managers in the NL have more wins with far younger staffs and far less money thrown around than the Cubs. They have under-achieved, IMO, and Pinella, despite bringing them back from the graveyard in the middle of the year, should be held responsible for their lack of success early on. D-Backs manager, whose name is escaping me, is the NL MOTY, followed by Charlie Manuel, who could also win. Manuel is similar to Pinella in that his team underachieved with a high payroll, but he dealt with far more injuries.

Shit, Rollins got picked off on Chico's 50th attempt. I will be bringing this sign for the season finale tomorrow, dunno if I'll take it in or not: My Entire Team Sucks Damn, if this was football this game would most definitely fall under the "trap game" category.
-
Don't let the door hit ya, Adam! The MVP gets on, let's go Phils!
-
IMO, John Maine's winless September is a part of the greatest collapse in MLB history. I like Maine, he just had some bad outings this September.
-
QUESTION, Hypothetical: Padres finish with a Wild Card win and are a game better than the NL East winning Phillies. Who gets home field in Rd 1- Phils or Padres? I'd love to see Chicago take the Snakes out, too. Chicago is a pretty decent team.

The stadium in Philly was ROCKING tonight. Section 138, Row 5! And "Alfalandejo" or whoever that pitcher is for the Nats totally no-sold some annoying little kid that kept yelling "Throw it to me, por favor! POR FAVOR! POR FAVOR!" and came up and handed me a foul ball during batting practice while I was kinda just standing there yelling shit at the bullpen. So the one game of the three-game set I need tickets for is tomorrow, which is also sold out. Standing room (3,000 standing room seats were sold at the Cit tonight, UNREAL) go on sale at 1 pm tomorrow and the rumor has it there's gonna be a line starting at 5 AM. Fuck that. I so want to be there but I also haven't slept in while, so I'm debating it. But fuck if tonight wasn't a great time. I hope the Phillies keep it up. ADAM EATON TOMORROW. Mets, your chance to tie for the division lead is tomorrow, take advantage of it.

If there's three-four days of "mini-playoffs" before the actual playoffs, that'd be crazy. Would the wacky NL "pre-playoffs" affect the AL schedule?
