Whoa, whoa, whoa! Those vintage Canuck jerseys are classic. But agreed, that Dallas jersey is wack.

Wow, Zimmer is actually an employee of the Yankees. I thought he was just one of those handicap guys that was into sports so the team let him hang around with them. Sort of like that "Radio" movie with Cuba Gooding Jr. coming up soon.

I thought Wes Sims fared well against Mir in their fight and would like to see a rematch there. What they gave us I thought was great and unfortunately Sims made a mistake and got carried away.

More on Sylvia courtesy Da Meltz: So where do we go from here? I say cough up the bucks for Barnett- Rodriguez. The rest of the heavyweight division is a mess. Rizzo, Arlovski, Matyushenko, McGee. All these guys do is trade wins with one another and no one has really established themselves as better (although admittedly McGee looked good before his loss to Sylvia and Arlovski has that recent win over Vlad). Frank Mir is a possibility based strictly on his 4-1 record in UFC but he hasn't really beaten anybody and I would think before he even gets a shot at the title he should prove than he can actually beat Wes Sims because even though Sims got DQ'ed Mir did not look impressive.

Did anyone see that rude gesture that Jeter did after catching the final popup? My god, that may have been the worst thing I've ever seen. I mean, the BoSox players probably had their children in the crowd. Oh, he'll pay for this.

In regards to what series is better... National League ball is always more interesting to me. Way more strategy in NL ball and I think to win in the NL you need to be a better manager than you do to win in the AL. However, those two blowout wins weren't at all interesting. But then again game 3 of the AL was totally unwatchable as far as actual baseball goes.

Tim Sylvia Test Positive For Banned Substance

Sylvia Tests Positive So now where does UFC go? I haven't seen this article on Sherdog or anything but if it is legit this could be a problem, what with the precedent set by the Josh Barnett situation. -
The problem with multiplayer would seemingly be that you could only play one day at a time per turn. So that means even if you're not doing anything that day all you do is unzip the file, load everything up, click next day, save the file, zip it up, email it. All for doing nothing on that day. And the 3 other players need to wait for you to do that before they can have their turns.

Not only do the Flyers have Joni Pitkanen but they also have Jeff Woywitka coming up. No Pitkanen but incredible upside none the less in a more defensive type role.

Ok, so say what you will about me...

With the Rabbit of Seville, Duck Amuck and the Scarlet Pumpernickel this set is easily worth picking up. However, there doesn't seem to appear to be enough Foghorn Leghorn. Easily the most underrated Looney Tune. -
True, Heath Ledger would be good, but you know who would be even better... Ashton Kutcher!!!! Demi could be a Bond babe and you could even bring in Bruce to play an evil villain/hitman. It practically writes itself. Call him Jimmy the Tulip or something.

Thrashers hurt in serious car accident

Tell me, what exactly is the purpose of sending anyone in a situation like this (not just Heatley to jail)? I don't really think the purpose of jail (in a situation like this) should be used strictly as punishment. I see the prison system as a way to rehabilitate and prevent re-occurence (I know, such a politcal point of view) I think the repurcussions surrounding Heatleys actions, being Snyder's death and Heatley's injuries, are enough to teach Heatley not to do this again. Hypothetical question: If a man, with a wife and child, is driving recklessly (god knows why) and crashes, killing the wife and child in the process, which do you think would have a bigger impact on preventing the man from driving recklessly again? a)going to jail for a few years b)forever knowing that his reckless driving killed his wife and child -

I'm not so sure his career is fucked. Craig MacTavish killed a women while driving drunk early in his career (I believe in his Boston days circa early 1980's). Went to jail for a year, got out and got right back on with his playing career. The incident is virtually forgot about today. I think there was another incident with Dino Cicceralli (or someone of that era) that had a similar run in. Wishing that Heatley goes to jail for this is stupid. Seriously, what will that accomplish? I'm sure Heatley realizes the nature of his mistake and will learn a life lesson at this (sadly at a terrible price). Having the burden of having killed a friend and teammate hanging over your head throughout your entire life is a much worse burden than prison would ever be. -

Nashville - Not Entertaining? You can change that point of view if Jordin Tootoo manages to stick around all season. I watched him with the OCN Blizzard (Manitoba Junior Hockey League) and the Brandon Wheatkings and he is without a doubt one of the most entertaining players to watch. I think that was evidenced by his performance at last year's WJC. Granted, he might be forced to change his game a bit, but thus far in the preseason he hasn't had to.

Again, for those of us uninformed, what is this magical X-Box of which you speak and how does one go about obtaining one of these?

Nintendos selling after price drop
Brush with Greatness replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in Video Games
I'm tempted to pick one up along with Animal Crossing. AC is now also selling for cheap (35 canadian) at Toys R' Us. -
Never saw the show this week (again - fuck, I'm glad they replay 15 times throughout the rest of the week) but if Hutch got kicked off then I can see him coming back. Maybe threatening legal action or something and the producers being forced to let him back on. This would also add to his heel dick persona.

Well, the three teams I wanted to win today did just that. Now only if the BoSox can pull it off as well. Ideally, if it came down to Boston Minnesota Chicago San Fran Any of those teams winning the World Series would make me happy. A Boston v. Chicago final would just be awesome because one of those teams would finally have to win. Minnesota is cheered upon because of Corey Koskie (a fellow small town Manitoba boy) and because they are the closest MLB team to me. San Fran because I WANT BARRY BONDS TO WIN A WORLD SERIES. That's right, I said it and I don't give a shit what anybody else feels about him.

Does anyone know if Adam's NWA Scenario has been converted over to 4.0 (by Adam or anyone else)? I mean pics, relationships, logos, etc.

Have they lowered the stats with Ravex 18 or are they still atrociously high?

Fuck, I missed it. What happened? And how often is this show on? The last episode I saw was the one with the chicks rubbing their tits in Kip's face. But that was a repeat and I saw it just this past weekend.
