I saw it on Sunday, and I gotta admit it wasn't that bad. It was good, alot better than the first one. This one wasn't as much of a TCM rip-off which was good. There was some funny quotes in it, and I actually liked how they ended up felling human in the end. It was like you can't really change yourself before the worst is about to happen.

Well, under the Starr coach/GM era the following games ended in ties: 1978: vs Minnesota Viking (10-10) 1980: vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14-14) 1982: vs Baltimore Colts (20-20: Nine game season) Here is the tied game that Forest Gregg had: 1987: vs Denver Broncos (17-17: Strike Game) Under Starr, the ST squad was very bad. Returning, punting, and the worse part was: kicking. Out kickers would usually miss due to poor protection on FG and XP. At times we would have to go through 3-4 kickers under a season. This is the order of coaches and what was good/bad until Holmgren came or the "dark ages" as we call them: Bengtson: Pass-happy offense, and a very poor defense (Guy took a brutal amount of critiscm for not living up to expectations) Devine: A very great running game, and a tough defense. (Didn't have much of a passing game, thus the Hadl trade) Starr: Pretty much a offense only coach. Didn't really care about defense or special teams (Horrible at being a general manager. Wasn't really good with player relations) Gregg: Was good at special teams and offense. Sometimes he would improve the defense, others it was worse than our current D. (Was not good with being open for suggestions. Had assisstants who had a horrible temper) Infante: Was a passy happy coach. (Was not good at running, special teams, and defense)

You know how we survived the 70's and 80's,with hope that the next gen of Packer fans wouldn't sit through what we sat through. In the 70's, the only good year was '72 and we were knocked out right away by the Redskins (17-3) and then there's the famous John Hadl trade. Dan Devine (Packer's coach) put a great amount of draft picks and Hadl was sore-armed. We had a damn good running game in the 70's and a sturdy D. We were never ready for the impact that happened when Lombardi left and we were a pretty shell-shocked team. The 1980's were a time when we would be super hot. Sometimes we'd win five games. We had Lynn Dickey at QB and James Lofton at WR. In 81 we went to the playoffs, but a lack of an offensive line and defense got us knocked out by Dallas in the second round. In 83 there was the famous high-scoring game against the Redskins. In 84 and 85 we went 8-8 under Forest Gregg, and didn't make the playoffs both times. We then went under young Randy Wright at QB, and proceeded to stink the place up. In 89, we had a second-year Sterling Sharpe, and Don Majkowski was just lighting it up. We then proceeded to suck for until 92.

I got some for ya: In 1989, The Houston Oilers were just on a roll. They beat the crap out of Pittsburgh, and then proceeded to be crushed by the Bengals. Then, they got upseted by the Cleveland Browns, and then met Pttisburgh in the Wild Card. Pittburgh won 16-13 in OT. That's the first time that I saw a team lose to all three division rivals in three weeks. In 2002, the New York Giants blew a huge lead to the 49er's, and proceeded to fuck up a normal field goal. It was blocked, and the QB attempted a pass. It fell incomplete, and it was just a mess. Oh yeah, it was three of them. There was 86, 87, and 89 along with the 1980 AFC Championship fumble against the Raiders. So yeah, the Brown's have never been the same since Elway stopped them three times.

Meh, I don't mind Bear's fans. I just hate the one's who act like complete tools. I got a little question to add discussion: What is the biggest choke by a football team ever? Mine, the Oilers choking away a huge lead, but there some others.

For Grady we have: Corey Williams Cullen Jenkins (Played in-place of Jackson was hurt, and showed potential) Donell Washington (Could just be like what Hunt should've been. Fast, strong, big) If anything, Kampman could gain weight and move him to the inside. Start Popinga, whose supposed to be a nasty fucker just watching him hit people. What disturbs me is the backfield, but Collins is looking really good at training camp. Carrol is just being a basket-case, nice pick Sherman. He's also getting all pissy that he will most likely get benched, for Thomas.

If Walker got injured and released, I wouldn't care. If he broke his fucking neck, I would hope that Rosenhaus then realizes not to influence players to hold out. It's been proven that if your hold out, your playing ability goes down. Your out of shape, and you haven't played since either December/January. For Walker, it's been since January since he's played a real game of football. If you think the Packer's don't care, then take alook at two player's who they could've dumped after a career ending injury. Sterling Sharpe: Went down around week 3 (1994), The Packer's kept him until 1995, when they could've dumped him. We just gave him a new deal, which would cost us a shitload of money. Mark Chamura: The man fucked up his back so badly, he shouldn't of been playing. Injured in late 1998, he played through half of the 99 season, before going on IR. He went on IR the first time, and the Packer's could've dumped him. They didn't because the people of Green Bay LIKED him, and since the people of Green Bay own the team they have influence. They even had the papers written, I even asked Lee Remmel (Packer's historian) and they didn't. Chamura attemptd to play through the 99 season, but went on IR. We were gonna dump him, but we waited until the end of the season. Course, that and the whole sexual assult thing. Call me old, but I grew up in a time where hold outs bad, not good. When the occasional hold-out happened you were gone. Players like Walker, TO, Grady and many others whole hold out can get injured and put Rosenhaus out of a job. It's gonna get to a point where holding out=injury. The NFL put too much power in the players, it should be the team's right to grant a new contract. God, do I miss the old days.

The only reason he's getting 500,000 a year is because it's his rookie deal. Every not drafted in the top 5 usually end up with the deal. The Packers and holding out players have always haunted us. Here's a list of some notables: Jim Ringo © John Hadl (QB) James Lofton (WR) Lynn Dickey (QB) Greg Ellis (WR) Tony Manadrich (LT) Don Majkowski (QB) Randy Wright (QB) Sterling Sharpe (WR) Dorsey Levens (HB) Mike McKenzie (CB) Javon Walker (WR) Grady Jackson (NT) After Lombardi completely left the team, the Packer's GM's would give into anybody. Wolf dealed with Levens (Who got injured right after he signed a new deal.) and Sharpe (Whose career was ended that year.) Walker wears 84 and so did Sharpe, anybody notice anything similar here?
-
Well, if you look at everything that Rosentrash said on HBO, he never mentioned the huge bonus that he's getting. Rosenhaus is painting Javon out to be the victim, when he has a 4.3 million dollar bonus. Walker is lucky to get a bonus, Ray Nitschke got around 50,000 if I remember (read Mean On Sunday) used 25 on a Buick, and the other to get to Green Bay. You winded about your deal, you were traded. Jim Ringo (Packer during the Lombardi Era) got a agent and Vince just hated them. He demanded more money, and he was traded to Philedalphia right on the spot. He traded away an NFL HOF center, because they didn't take that crap. Unless Walker grows a brain and get's to camp, he'll get injured when he does play. Let's see a team take him.

Glad for Teddy. Probably my favorite linebacker in the NFL, I hope he has a big year when he comes back. Ok, I have an article for every Packer fan that will send them to Miami with a sniper rifle:

He is one of the best, but not he's best out there. I'd rather have the agent that Grady used to have, because he has alot more pull in Green Bay because he represents Favre. Didn't he have like over 60 players that he represented in the draft ALONE. Maybe, after he gets whatever trash he represents traded or a new deal. get them back into shape. Mike McKenzie was horrible after being traded to New Orleans, was torched on a common basis. He went from being one of the best corners in the game, to one of the worst. They either get injured and benched, so I guess that he really is helping the players he represents. I sent an e-mail to him when wanting him to become a sports agent, and here's what I got when I asked him about hold-outs: "It's my philosophy that players will not hold-out." "I don't insist for my players to hold out" "I only hold out when the team has not gave the player a good contract." "I do have a soul. I have a huge soul." "I'm here to help players" He also said the same damn thing on PTI in May. So yeah, he's just like the Poston Brothers (Ty Law's agent) but worse.
-
Rosenhaus does his job well? He does with his the best intrest for his clients? He gets his people to hold out on deals that have either 2-7 years left. Two years (Walker) and Seven (TO) and don't get me started on that fat sack of shit Grady Jackson. Doing one good thing doesn't overshadow being the NFL's most hated agent. He's pathetic excuse for an agent, and I wished that he would've been around in the 60's. I would love to see him pull this shit on guys like Lombardi, Stram and Landry.

I gotta admit, this show is fucking great. I watched little during the first season, but got it on DVD most recently. One of the things I like the most is the whole Jesus/Gavin thing. It's just so odd, yet funny because it's the exact opposite of what Jesus is represented as in the modern world. I like the whole Franco/Tommy situation and not some happy happy crap we saw on crap like Full House and Step by Step. Overall, keep the show on the same route it's on right now. No stupid ideas, just keep on going. No need on changing what's good. EDIT: Jason, are for real on killing Lou and Reily? What the fuck are you thinking? Lou's a great character, and Reily is just plain gold as the old school style guy. This isn't a soap opera, it's a drama. Soap Opera is over the top shit like twins finding out they screwed each-other, and stuff like that. It's realistic, and I know because my brother is a damn fire fighter. While it may have some over-the-top elements, but's it is not soap opera over-the-top

Ray Lewis? What was supposed to be deal with that?

Airplane 1993?

Well, I saw it and I was disappointed. I knew it would be campy fun, but not that campy. Jessica Alba proves why she can't act, because she was just bland. Doom, I liked him but he was made out to look like a wuss. I did like Julian though, he got the character down to a tee. Whoever played Mr. Fantastic was great and was just like the one from the comics. My two favorite characters were Johnny Storm and The Thing. Evan delivered a great performance, and was great. Chiklis (the only reason I wanted to see this) was freaking great as the tortured Thing. Overall, it's a good film, but Batman Begins just overshadowed it. I'll probably rent it. Once again, they could've got somebody else for Sue Storm. 7/10

I got this of IMDB, so take this for what it is worth. *SPOILERS* Is this man trying to kill the X-Men franchise?

Yes, this is it. It's a guy from some EWR message board on commentary

WWF @ Milwaukee, WI - September 29, 1989 Barry Windham defeated Tim Horner Rick Martel fought Tito Santana to a draw Dusty Rhodes defeated the Big Bossman Bret Hart fought Haku to a draw Bad News Brown defeated Hercules The Bushwhackers defeated the Powers of Pain via disqualification WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan defeated Randy Savage in a steel cage match Meh, most the matches on the show weren't that great, but Tito/Martel and Hogan/Savage were fun. The place went NUTS for Hogan, and some people chanted "Midnight Rider" at Dusty Rhodes. Fun show where some Packers showed up. Don Majkowski and Sterling Sharpe showed up and shook hands with people. Really nice because I think they played a game the next day.

Damn, when looking for a copy of 4.0, I stopped by the wrestling discussion and diaries. Good golly, it's like they took the idiots from here and gave it their own baord.
-
Holy mother of god, I found him. I was searching at IMDB, and found a thread of his at the Friday The 13th boards. The thread is called "Complete and utter garbage."

I think Batman Begins will rise slowly in the box. Just the opinion of a fanboy though.
-
I never beat the original Rockey and I don't have the original Sega, so can anybody fill me in on the final fighter? I always thought it was Tommy Gunn.

He had a pretty close one on Heat with CM Punk that was around ***3/4 IMHO.
