Most home DVDRs are designed to be used the same way a VCR would be. If you've ever taped from one VCR to another using A/V cables, the process is nearly identical. 1. Make sure a A/V output cable is connected from your DVDR to your TV. 2. Hook another A/V cable from the VCR's A/V output to the front inputs of the DVDR, and turn the VCR on (go ahead and push play, so there'll be an actual signal going from the VCR to the DVDR). 3. Cycle through all of the video input channels on the DVDR (either by pushing an "input" button repeatedly, or by pushing channel up and down on the remote) until you see the tape playing on the TV screen. 4. Choose a record speed and record using either DVD+R or DVD-R (depending on what type of machine it is). The record speeds on the DVDR will go from a 1-hour mode (best picture and sound) to an 8 hour mode (terrible picture and sound). Look, I just bout a DVD recorder, and that's what I want to do. Hook my VCR up to it so that I can transfer VHS to DVD. I don't have a fucking clue how to set it up, though. Do I need an S-Video cable to make things work? I'm being serious here. This may be the stupidest question ever to you, but I swear, I might as well be a caveman when it comes to this. I do not know how to fix this shit right.

I'd pray for it to be Jordan, but it'll probably be WW again. 3. Ollie. The storyline would work best with him. 4. Probably Manhunter. I can see them killing Aquaman off. Again. 5. I SO want it to be Booster, but it'll be Kyle. They've already announced a new Ion ongoing series. It'll be him. 6. Flash. 7. Superboy. The rest will either die (probably Gardner) or we'll see them temporarily quit being a superhero for a few months (probably Flash) or they'll re-debut, possibly under a new gimmick (probably Nightwing). 9. Likely Stewart. Unless they have plans for Red Tornado or something. 10. Probably Braniac. I'm worried that he's going to be revealed as the big bad of Crisis. Which would be very anti-climactic for me.

But they didn't become more sympathetic. Why should I feel sympathy for them? At that point we had just watched an hour plus of them torturing and killing people for their own amusement. And the sheriff, at worst he became maybe an anti-hero, choosing his own brand of vigilante justice. I liked the Firefly characters, but what I mean to say is, when they were being tortured and brutalized by Forsythe, I didn't for one second think to myself, "Wow, I hope they manage to make it out of this alive!" Was that Rob's intention? I was having none of it. That said, the final five minutes were really great. Otis driving, stopping in the middle of the road, and look on his face says it all: We're fucked, might as well go out in a blaze of glory. Add to this all of the cuts Rob does showing 'home movie footage' of Otis, Spaulding & Baby during 'happier times'. Really, really strong visuals. It gives me hope that Rob is growing as a director and that future films by him will continue to improve. I again have to compiment Rob on his soundtrack choices; playing Terry Reid's "Seed of Memory" during the ending credits was fantastic. Definitely the right choice after seeing the Fireflies meet a grisly, and for some people I suppose tragic, end.

I liked Devil's Rejects, but I stand by my opinion that House of 1,000 Corpses was an absolutely terrible film. That said, I can't believe anyone would be so upset as to cry at the Fireflys dying at the end. People feel sympathy for them? They're good characters, sure, they're very interesting and at times amusing, but c'mon. They got EXACTLY what they deserved. It's not as if I was cheering for them when the sheriff was torturing them, or when they ultimately met their demise.

Yet I find it to be the best song in the game. Quick question, can I get the Legends or ECW storyline using a CAW, or will I only be able to get those if I play with certain WWE wrestlers? And if so, which ones?

As a Sting fan, that's about the last thing I would want to see, seeing as I'm also not too fond of Taker, and I'd rather not see one of my all-time favorite wrestlers from my boyhood become just another job boy to Taker at Mania. BTW, has anyone mentioned the Sting / Flair vs. Funk / Muta "electried cage" match from 1989? I forget what show that was on, but that was the year, during the middle of the Flair / Funk and Sting / Muta feuds. I'd love to see that on DVD. You know, I swear, Vince would make a ton of money just putting out old WCW PPVs on DVD. Yes, there were some really bad ones, but some of them, especially from 1989 and the early 90s were great, and a lot of the stuff from the early NWO period would probably sell exceptionally well.
