Looks like Mr. Rant doesn't have any idea what's going on. Shocking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In Rant's defense, it was the first thought that crossed my mind. And realistically, it's not a wild assumption to make. And I can't rule it out until I have more information from Jingus.

Depends on how hot or cold it got, or how loud the music was. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, it doesn't fucking matter. Thank God we do NOT have people like you running the show down there. Although look on the bright side, Congress is going to try and stick their nose into things to fuck them up royally.

Between the Neverending Story and A-Ha references, I've marked out hard during this episode.

It's mostly Claremont and the X-Men editors. Although there are a ton of X-books now that are just bad or pointless. Gambit, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Kitty Pryde mini, Storm mini, etc. Speaking of Joss, while Joss Whedon isn't ruining his book, his work is good, but it isn't phenomenal. Many Whedon marks, in their typical fashion, make it seem as if it's the second coming of Christ, but honestly, I think Mark Millar's work on Wolverine is better.

Someone explain the Kerwin thing to me. Who did Chavo piss off to be given that gimmick? That would be incredible. So we'll never see it.
-
Wait, HP fans were clamoring for Ron / Hermione and Harry / Ginny? Really. Huh. I'd much rather see Harry / Hermione. Or in the alternative, Harry / Parvati.

Cable & Deadpool kind of sucks. It was MUCH better when it was just Deadpool. Now I got to deal with the whole "Cable is the Mutant Messiah" bullshit. Marvel's got a lot of problems, many of them currently the result of Bendis and some of the idiots ruining running the the X-books, but they still produce some good books. It's just that D.C. has been on fire the last couple years, and is really strong creatively right now, and thus Marvel looks really bad by comparison.

Let's assume that spoiler is true. I'm calling it right here: SWERVE. That's my theory. I don't think Rowling would have spent five books demonstrating a relationship between....well, the person dead, and the person who supposedly killed them, just to have all of that thrown out the window. I think it's all a swerve to fool Voldemort. Either that, or it's kind of a shitty heel turn. But I'm hoping I'm proven right.

Meanwhile, thanks to the latest schedule change, the Family Guy reruns on Adult Swim airing against the Daily Show are a hundred times funnier than Jon Stewart has ever been.

Fuck you, bob. The original Wonka movie was goddamn perfect and this piece of shit is going to be a total abortion.
-
Why are you saying the slump is over? I'm betting that next week the Wonka flick opens below expectations and Fantastic Four will have a very big drop off (at least 65%). Everything this year is still sluggish as hell.

Don't argue with him, it only costs you brain cells. Zogby's numbers also predicted John Kerry would win by over 300 electoral votes, and we all saw how well that one turned out.

I'm sad to see Akio and Kidman go. Yes, I said Kidman. I've always liked the guy. Yes, he's bland, but I've always found him to be a good / capable worker. Here's hoping that Stevie Richards survives yet again.

When I saw this thread title, Jobber, I thought to myself, there goes C-Bacon with another one of his usual bullshit threads. And then I saw it was started by you. That's not a good thing, in case you haven't figured it out yet. That I can so easily confuse you with C-Bacon based on your post content.

If they're smart, they'll slowly build up Cena - HHH for Wrestlemania. Which, of course, means that we'll likely see it by Survivor Series at the latest.
-
You got to be shitting me.
-
Wait - JUST proved? You mean, he didn't prove it the first 10,000 he's done this? Man, Jingus, you've got higher standards for conclusive evidence than I do.

I'll end the debate here: he was a complete and utter piece of human shit and the world is a better place without him, although it would have been an even better place had he never even existed at all. Arguing over exactly how big of a piece of human shit he was is irrelevant. It's enough to know that he was a big enough piece of shit that he's on my list of dead people who's graves I sincerely wish to defecate on.
-
Any chance of him finishing these memoirs before the Iraqis try him, convict him, and then execute him by firing squad?
-
My money's on Hunter making some comment about Cena which totally dismisses him as unworthy enough to even grace the same ring as him, BEFORE the night is over.
-
Holy fucking shit. That's the worst news ever. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, that would be if Joss Whedon was writing and directing. If they're killing off someone, here's hoping it's Storm. In the comics, she's vital, in the movie, she's worthless.
-
Ha! Deal with it, hippies.
-
I just don't have the energy in me to try.

If the Bible must be on the list, so must the Koran. And it would have to be significantly HIGHER. I'd easily put it in the top 3. Why is that so unreasonable? Even as purely evil as Nazism is / was, Communism has a body account in the hundreds of MILLIONS. And that's just counting deaths, not the rampant and ceaseless violations of human rights.

I'm sorry, I didn't notice the tattoo - I was too hypnotized by the stretch marks. ......I swear, they're moving. They're swirling in intricate geometric patterns even now as I type this.
