One of my poly sci profs says the key to this debate isn't in the actual debate, it's how the media spins it afterwards to the public and what types of things from the debate they concentrate on.
-
Hey, Russia poses NO threat to Poland... Nevermind, different debate. This is going VERY badly for Kerry. -=Mike I wouldn't go quite that far. I don't think it's any sort of trouncing at all.
-
Yeah, that was pretty solid, and he answered it confidently, which helps as well.
-
Hey, Russia poses NO threat to Poland... Nevermind, different debate.
-
Very good rhetoric from Kerry. Agreed. Unfortunately, Kerry is completely not answering the current question. -=Mike I will agree with you here. Neither man is actually answering the questions. It's a presidential debate...what did you expect?
-
I like watching the guy who isn't answering the question. That's the funniest thing in this debate so far.
-
We really need to set up a debate drinking game for the other debates.
-
Hold on...Kerry served in Vietnam????? He has my vote now!
-
Which is worse? Interesting rhetorical strategy by Kerry there.
-
Other allies helping! Kerry said something specific he'd do!
-
Is anyone reading this thread actually an undecided voter? How about just a "soft" supporter of one side or the other?
-
Let's not have this break down into partisan bickering...that's for every other topic in this folder. I want to analyze how they're doing and how this will effect the election, if at all.
-
I want to see this break down and end with one of them giving the other a powerbomb through a Jim Leherer's table.
-
I don't think he's looking like shit, that's a little harsh. And at least he isn't sighing at all of Bush's responses.
-
You're watching the debate, right? I haven't seen that. -=Mike Bush has been just fine so far.
-
They're talking about the same issue while avoiding each others criticisms and not even really addressing them...
-
Hussein...I mean Bin Laden...hell, what's the difference anyways? On a side note, I was talking to my girlfriend about the 2000 debates the other day and she said the reason she didn't want to support Gore in 2000 was he wore so much blush and talked like a woman she didn't think he'd be a good leader. Lol. Hopefully Kerry at least doesn't come off like a sissy tonight...
-
I think that's going to be the Republican strategy all night. Has Kerry ever really said that the world WASN'T safter without Hussein?
-
# of times Kerry has mentioned service = 1 Pretty good start so far, though.
-
I'm going to try and analyze this debate objectively as if I was an undecided voter who isn't clear on all the issues. I think it's going to be interesting.

JoeDirt replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Give him another chance, he's pretty damn good. Maybe his match with Cannon just wasn't that good, but Dragon vs. Strong should be great. -
