    Hypothetically speaking....

    1. Well I guess that would be the end of the brand extension. We'd have a long mourning period and then they would try and move on, I guess. Who knows. 2) They wouldn't have pushed him right, and he wouldn't have done anything in WCW. Who knows if he would have received the same push in the WWE after being in WCW, but he's a talented guy, so I can see it happening. 3) It would have struggled some more and gone bankrupt a year later.

One last one and then I'm done for the day...this is for GAB04: Sunday Night Heat Match Saw Spike pin Noble in a clean victory *** Fatal 4-Way for the U.S. Title Cena vs. Booker T. vs. RVD vs. Dupree Outstanding showing. Cena pins RVD, cleanly. Booker pins Rene, cleanly, and Cena pins Booker, cleanly in a bad mamma jamma match. **** Charlie Haas vs. Luther Reinz Throw together match, WWE must have needed a filler. Luther pins Hass in a clean outing. ** Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Jr Rey wins a clean match with a pin over Chavo. This was a great match that they actually gave a lot of time to develop. But different cruisers need to challenge Rey. *** Kenzo Suzuki vs. Billy Gunn Clean match pin Kenzo over Gunn, however, it is a lame fued and Kenzo is boring to watch. ** Sable vs. Torrie A horrible match, the ending was seriously screwed up Torrie's shoulder was not ever even on the mat for a one count, much less a three. A TnA match at best but not at it's best. Torrie and Sable are terrible wrestlers. Cole and Tazz can pimp out the SMACKDOWN! Cruisers all they want but RAW has the better Female athletes. Mordecai vs. Hardcore Holly With a clean pin over Holly, Mordecal utilized the "Razor's Edge" as his finisher. You have just seen the new "Next Big Thing" this bad mother hummer is fixing to rip on his opponets. **** Texas Bullrope match for the WWE Championship Eddie vs. JBL ***** This match should have been JBL's first title defence, but Eddie being the panty waste that he is, took the easy way out at Judgment Day so this was JBL's rematch. JBL makes good on his guarentee to be the new champ. Nick Patrick tried to screw JBL at the end but the good GM Angle used the instant replay and the right decision was made. ***** Concrete Crypt Match Undertaker vs. Dudleyz 1 on 2 Sweet finisher to the best SMACKDOWN! PPV of all time. Taker over clean by pining D'von ***** ------------------ And the same guy reviews this year's No Way Out: No Way Out was a let down. There was only one match that lived up to the hype. Undisputed Title Brock Lesner Vs Eddie Guerrero 0 out of 5 WTF!? Are you kidding me? Guerrero, this druggie, this felon, this POS that can't entertain to save his life, and they let him beat an all American, a good person that dose not have criminal record. WWE just urinated on that Championship belt and on everyone that ever held it. The RAW title, in my eyes, is now the better of the two belts. Big Show Vs Kurt Angle Vs John Cena 4 out of 5 This was the best match of the night and Kurt winning the match made it cool. WMXX would have been better if it was Brock and Angle for the title, but Druggie and Angle OMG how weak is that going to be? Jamie Noble Vs Nidia 2 out of 5 Entertaining and funny. Hardcore Holly Vs Rhyno 0 out of 5 Boring boring boring boring! Tag Team Title 0 out of 5 Too Cool Vs Bashem Brothers and Shaniqua Snoozfest! APA Vs WGTT 0 out of 5 Bad match. A filler match. Cruiserweight Title Chavo Guerrero Vs Rey Mysterio 0 out of 5 Dumb stupid boring match. NWO dose not earn a rating. GM Haymen should be ashamed of himself for putting his name on the same listing as this POS PPV.

Oh, and this review for this year's Judgment Day might be the best yet: May 16, 2004 LA, California Judgement Day is a pretty good Smackdown PPV with some good matches, some great matches and some DUD matches. This is going to be rated on a scale from 1 to 10 and I will also rate the extras. 1. Rey Mysterio and RVD vs. The Dudleyz This is a pretty good opener, but is mostly a Smackdown worthy match. Winner: RVD and Rey Mysterio Pinfall Rating: 5/10 Good, but not great. 2. Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie WTF?!! Didn't they settle this at the 2003 Royal Rumble! OK win by Torrie, but she needs to find other people to fight. Winner Torrie Wilson Pinfall Rating: 2/10 In the words of Bart Simpson "Ay Curumba!" 3. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Mordecai This match is disturbingly one sided. Mordecai is a great athlete and in my point of view, almost as scary as the Undertaker. Great entrance by Mordecai, and as soon as he gets in he rips Scotty to shreds. Winner Mordecai Pinfall Rating 7/10 Would have gotten more if Scotty would have tried a little bit harder to win. 4. Rico and Hass vs. Harcore Holly and Billy Gunn for the TAG TEAM CHAMPIONCHIP Funny match=) and great teamwork by Haas and Rico Winner Rico and Haas Rating: 7/10 Rico is Funny and also a good wrestler. 5.Jackie vs. Chavo Guerrero for the Cruiserweight title ... Winner and new champion Chavo Pinfall Rating: 0/10 ... WHAT! 6.John Cena vs. Rene Dupree for the US Title My man John Cena kills that French SOB. Good effort by Rene Winner John Cena Rating 8/10 Young blood at it's greatest! 7.The Undertaker vs. Booker T This I'll explain! The buildup for this match is that of a horror film. The Story: Booker T claimed to be the best wrestler on Smackdown which of course was a bad idea. The dead man Taker dominates and plays mind games with Booker T. So Booker T goes and sees Mama Sangre the pyscic and asks for supernatural help. She gives him a bag full of knick knacks and tells him to stir them up then add dirt from a grave with no name. So he looks for 3 hours (only 2 minutes are shown) and finally finds it. The Match: Booker T comes out with his normal theme song and praises the bag that was given to him. The Undertaker's entrance was SPECTACULAR! First the gates that symboled a graveyard were struck by lightning and set on fire. Then fog covered the arena. Then The Undertaker walked to the ring and did the eye roll. The match was mostly blows and hits back and forth, before Taker dominated. Then after an old school by Taker, Booker T knocked down the ref. He grabbed the powder and threw it in Taker's eyes. Taker shook it off and then tombstoned Booker T. Then Taker went for the cover. RIP! Winner: The Undertaker Pinfall Rating:10/10 Great effort by both of them, they both did great. Good ending! 8. JBL vs. Eddie Guererro for the WWE Championchip This is gorry, brutal and I'm suprised Eddie is still living. And I thought Freddy vs. Jason was bloody! Winner: Eddie Guerrero Pinfall Rating 9/10 Not for the weak of heart, you may blow chunks =0 Extras: Eddie's mother has a heart attack Good Lord! This is just plain scary. Unless you want to know more about what happened to her don't watch it. Rating: 4/10 Mordecai Vignette OK more like a promo 2/10 JBL hunting for illegal aliens (mexicans) Pompus and arrogant 3/10 Booker T meets Mama Sangre Really interesting, almost like a mini movie Rating: 7/10 Booker T in the graveyard Spooky and has a scary ending, it scared me! Rating 8/10 Mark Jindrak vs Funaki Waste Rating 4/10 Pretty good PPV, extras are OK PPV: 6/10 Extras 4/10 ====================================================== A JD2003 review: 1.CHRIS BENOIT, RHYNO, SPANKY VS. FBI, JOHN CENA THIS MATCH WAS SHORT, BUT A SICK AND SWEET MATCH. RATING- 1O/10 2.BIG POPPA PUMP,TEST VS. LA RESISTANCE [boring]. RATING-3/10 LADDER MATCH FOR SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM TITLES 3.LATINO HEAT EDDIE GURRERO,JAPENESE BUZZSAW TAJIRI VS.TEAM ANGLE THE MATCH ITSELF WAS ENTERTAINING,MATCH RATING-9/10 4.BATTLE ROYAL FOR INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE:RAW PARTICIPANTS:KANE, RVD, LANCE STORM, TEST, VAL VENIS, BOOKER T, GOLDUST, CHRISTIAN, CHRIS JERICHO MATCH RATING-7.5/10 BOOKER T WOULD OF WON IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT RETARD,CHRISTIAN. 5.BIKINI MATCH TORRIE WILSON [Hot] AND [interesting]. MATCH RATING-1,000/10 6.MR.AMERICA VS ROWDY RODDY PIPER WAS OKAY, MATCH RATING-6.5/10 7.WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TILTLE MATCH TRIPLE H VS. KEVIN NASH WAS KIND OF BORING RATING-4.5/10 8.FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH FOR WOMEN'S TITLE TRISH STRATUS VS. VICTORIA VS. JAZZ VS. JACQUELINE WAS NOT BAD. RATING-5.5/10 9.STRECTHER MATCH FOR WWE TITLE BROCK LESNAR VS. BIG SHOW FUN TO SEE REY MYSTERIO INTEFERE IN THIS MATCH, RATING-8/10

wrestlemania XX was one of the better wrestlemanias. every match was pretty good: 1.john cena vs. big show ***** 2.rvd&booker vs. la resitance vs. dudley boyz vs. garrison cade&mark jindrak ***** 3.chris jericho vs. christian ***** 4.rock n sock vs. evoultion ***** 5.sable&torrie vs. stacy&miss jackie *** 6.wwe cruiserweight open ***** 7.goldberg vs. brock lesnar *** only because the crowd 8.too cool vs. apa vs. basham brothers vs. wgtt **** 9.victoria vs. molly holly **** only because the end 10.eddie guerrero vs. kurt angle ***** 11.undertaker vs. kane ***** 12.shawn michaels vs. triple h vs. chris benoit ***** GO BUY IT! And a Summerslam 2003 review: THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER WAS GREAT BUT RANDY ORTON SHOULD OF WON. THE FATLE FOUR WAY MATCH WAS VERY BRUTAL AND TONS OF HIGH RISK MOVES AND A LOT OF CRASHES AND BURNS GRET MATCH. THE BROCK LESNAR .VS. KUT ANGLE WAS OK BUT LESNAR SHOULD OF WON EVEN THOUGH I HATE BOTH OF THE ATHLEIGHTES. And here's a Backlash 2003 review: Tag Team Title Match: Los Guerros vs. Team Angle (champions) 7.75 since the match was entertaining, but the Guerros lost. Rikishi vs. Sean O Haire (w/Roddy Piper)8 because it was fun to watch Piper get what he deserved, but no stinkface? DAMN!! Women's Championship Match: Trish Stratus (champion) vs. Jazz (w/Theodore Long) 1 because the match sucked, Jazz had faced Trish way too many times before, plus the match was short. Tag Team Title Match: Kane & RVD (champions) vs. The Dudley Boyz with Chief Morley as the special guest referee. 10 because I was impressed when I saw Kane & RVD defeat the Dudleys when Morley was helping the Dudleys the whole time. Rey Mysterio vs. The Big Show. 2 since it was almost obvious that the Big Show would win, plus, the ending of the match was horrifying. WWE championship match: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena. 9.75 since the match was EXTREMELY high quality, but my favorite guy John Cena lost (Cena had Lesnar beat at one point in the match) Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Ric Flair, & Chris Jericho. 4 Since Triple H cheated to win, plus the match wasn't very entertaining. The Rock vs. Goldberg. 10 because it was Goldberg's first PPV in the WWE and he made a BIG impact by defeating The Rock.

    Creative shakeups coming?

And it's really sad, when you think about it. How many big "storylines" does each writing team do at a time? One? Two? Leading up to Summerslam we had the Angle/Eddie feud on Smackdown and the HHH/Eugene storyline on RAW that got all the attention. Smackdown also had the Dudleys turning heel. Okay...but what about everyone else? I just get frustrated at how four or five guys will get a storyline, and then for everyone else it's just thrown-together crap at the last second. How did the Smackdown writers set up Holly vs. Rhyno at NWO and Gunn vs. Suzuki at the GAB? They had a DQ finish on the show before the PPV. Wow...way to think ahead, guys.

    Main event tryouts

Don't forget that Vince changed his mind at the last second, or else Test would have been a WWF champion. Then they decided to go with Big Show winning the title at Survivor Series 1999.
  8. I was last a mark in 1999. At the time, I thought the Greater Power angle was AWESOME, though was slightly disappointed when Vince was revealed. I told my friends that I couldn't wait for a match between Undertaker and Big Show, because that would be an AWESOME match. Why? Because both guys were big and dominating and won all the time...so why WOULDN'T it be awesome, right? That's how a mark thinks! I rooted like hell for Test to beat Shane MacMahon at Summerslam. I talked to my friend, who told me I needed to see WCW Starcade 1998 to see the match between Goldberg and Kevin Nash, which he called "really short, but one of the best matches ever." But then after Summerslam 1999 I started reading stuff by Scott Keith and Herb Kunze and reading about star ratings...and then about match psychology. And I started seeing more old wrestling, and was able to see the difference between that and 1999 WWF. So that was it for me...but what about you? When were you last a mark?
  9. JoeDirt

When were you last a mark?

This may be a stupid question, but how did you know that stuff before the internet? Did you subscribe to all the "dirt sheets"?

    Creative shakeups coming?

The wedding and segments leading up to it drew big ratings for this time period in wrestling. They do not, nor should they, care about catering to the smarks. No...but I'd rather see Austin drive a beer truck to the ring and give the Corporation a beer bath then see Kane and Lita in some stupid wedding, you know? They don't have to cater to the smarks, but they don't have to put out complete shit, either.
  11. JoeDirt

    Creative shakeups coming?

I think its the writers' fault too, to an extent. And also what Vince decides to do and not do. I mean, do you realize that both world title matches at Summerslam had literally NO buildup? Ooh, Orton wins a battle royal and gets a title shot. What a feud! And Taker chokeslams Bradshaw and gets a title shot. Hell, neither even had a video package before the match because they did nothing to build either match up. That's just pathetic.

    Best Wrestling Quotes...

Vince McMahon: Kane challenges you, Austin, to a match in which clearly, the winner will be the man who draws first blood on his opponent. JR: WHAT DOES HE MEAN? --- And in the Michael Cole points out the obvious category, in the RAW in 1999 where Undertaker is stalking the Mcmahon family, we cut to the McMahon house and hear Undertaker talk about how nobody's home and all the evil things he's going to do, etc etc. Of course Michael Cole blurts out: Cole: KING! IT'S THE UNDERTAKER AND THE MINISTRY! No shit, Sherlock.
  13. What have you learned from watching wrestling for so many years? For me? If I'm ever in a fight with a Samoan, I'll know not to try to headbutt him. You?
  14. JoeDirt

    Creative shakeups coming?

Tranlation: PWTorch.com is hoping that Paul Heyman somehow returns to a major role in the creative department but realize that is is probably not likely due to how he and Vince McMahon clash over creative direction. Lol, exactly. Gotta love the Torch.

    Creative shakeups coming?

Heyman is smart enough to know that pushing guys like Heidenreich who are WAAAY too green isn't the answer. I'm all for pushing a big strong marketable guy...but he has to be at least SOMEWHAT credible in the ring.
  17. JoeDirt

    Creative shakeups coming?

And Vince isn't about to fire his daughter. But hey...at least they've kept her off the actual shows!
  18. I haven't said "oh wow" to a WWE angle since the night ECW returned on RAW in 2001. And we know how well the invasion angle did after that. I'd have to say after WCW disappeared, the WWF/E REALLY went downhill from there. I am REALLY bored with the product right now. The wrestling is good at times, but the storylines/writing/feuds/angles are so blah.

    Hilarious Wrestling Moments

I think it's Survivor Series 95, in the Wild Card match. HBK superkicks Sid and Razor covers. Bulldog breaks up the pin, walks back to the apron, and then Razor covers Sid again and pins him. It was just so random since Bulldog wasn't supposed to run in and break up the pin.

OFFICIAL PREVIEW FOR WWF IN YOUR HOUSE: DEGENERATION-X! SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, LIVE ON PAY PER VIEW! 4-CORNERS ELIMINATION WWF TITLE MATCH: Shawn Michaels © vs. Undertaker vs. Ken Shamrock vs. Jeff Jarrett: Shawn Michaels doesn't have many friends in the WWF. After helping ruin the #1 contender's match between Ken Shamrock and the Undertaker, it was ruled that Michaels would have to defend the title against BOTH men at Degeneration-X! Jeff Jarrett then entered the equation, as when he resigned with the WWF he was given one shot at the WWF title. Jarrett believes that beating three of greatest wrestlers in the world today will prove how good he is. Shamrock has been one of the hottest superstars since entering the WWF, and wants to win his first WWF gold here. The Undertaker must put his brother Kane and Paul Bearer out of his mind and focus on winning the WWF title. Any of these four great superstars could walk out of Springfield as champion! INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Steve Austin © vs. The Rock: Steve Austin is usually the hunter, not the hunted. But after winning the Intercontinental title from Owen Hart at Survivor Series, the Nation of Domination has targeted Austin. Rocky Maivia believes himself to be the greatest Intercontinental champion in WWF history, and looks to get his belt back here. The Nation has attacked Austin on numerous occasions, stolen his title belt, and even persuaded the "World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry to turn on Austin and join the Nation. Austin has sworn revenge at Degeneration-X...is there hell to pay for the Rock and the Nation? TAG TEAM TURMOIL MATCH: Los Boriquas vs. The Legion of Doom vs. The Headbangers vs. The Truth Commission vs. D.O.A vs. Furnas and Lafon vs. Kama and D'Lo Brown vs. The New Blackjacks: Eight WWF tag teams will battle in gauntlet-style warfare to earn a shot at the new WWF tag team champions, the New Age Outlaws! Each team will randomly draw a number from 1-8, and enter the ring in that order. After a pinfall, submission, DQ, or countout, the losing team is out and the next team enters. The last team left will face the New Age Outlaws later in the night for the tag team titles! ANYTHING GOES: Kane vs. Cactus Jack: Many think Mick Foley is a lunatic. The man behind Mankind and Dude Love returned six days ago on RAW to challenge Kane to a match at Degeneration-X! Kane defeated Mankind at Survivor Series, but now will Foley's more hardcore side bring him to victory in this anything goes match at Degeneration-X? Or will Kane's reign of terror in the WWF continue? LOSER LEAVES THE WWF: HHH vs. Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart: Jim Neidhart returned two weeks ago on RAW to attack HHH and send him back into the ring to face the Undertaker. HHH responded by helping Shawn Michaels defeat Neidhart last week on RAW and drop him with the Pedigree after the match. HHH says he's looking forward to ridding the WWF completely of the Hart family, and challenged Neidhart to a loser leaves the WWF match! But is HHH too overconfident here? Or will he send "The Anvil" packing? SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH: Vader vs. Goldust: Goldust turned on his country at Survivor Series when he refused to tag out to Vader and left the ring during the Team USA vs. Team Canada match. Vader responded by powerbombing Goldust the next night on RAW. Goldust says he wants to live for himself now, and has left his family for a new life. He has also attacked Vader on two occasions now. The big mastadon Vader will be looking for revenge at Degeneration-X...but what else may Goldust have up his sleeve? GRUDGE MATCH: Ahmed Johnson vs. Marc Mero: Marc Mero says he's sick of everybody cheering Sable. He says he wants her to realize that her role is to make him look good. Sable will be at ringside at Degeneration-X when Mero takes on Ahmed Johnson. Will she do as she's told, or leave Mero for good? Will Mero be able to defeat the powerful Johnson?, the man who slammed him through the timekeeper's table just a few weeks ago? This should be a hard hitting matchup! LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT FINALS: Brian Christopher vs. Taka Michinoku: Who will become the first WWF light-heavyweight champion? Brian Christopher and Taka Michinoku have butted heads since entering the WWF...who will walk away Sunday night with gold around his waist? Join us live for In Your House: Degeneration-X, only on pay per view!

JD's fantasy booking of the WWF...

WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW FOR DECEMBER 1ST, 1997 - ROANOKE, VIRGINIA! ARE YOU READY? The DX music hits and they make their way to the ring to start the show! JR and the King welcome us to the show. DX makes their way to the ring and HBK takes the mic and talks trash about Shamrock, Taker, and Jarrett. He says none of them are even in his league, and in six days he's going to eliminate all three of them and keep his WWF title. HHH takes the mic and says he's challenging Jim Neidhart to a match at Degeneration-X. He says he doesn't know what the hell Neidhart is still doing here, since he and Shawn ran the Hart Foundation straight outta the WWF. He says he'll make sure Neidhart is gone for good after Degeneration-X. HHH also says that if Slaughter sticks his jaw in his business again, he's going to make sure he regrets it. Shamrock's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring for the contract signing that is set up in the ring. Shamrock takes the mic and says HBK can run his mouth all he wants, but last week he put him in the anklelock and Michaels tapped out. He says he'll win the WWF title in six days. Jeff Jarrett's music hits and he comes to the ring. He says he's waited a long time for this match, and he's going to become the WWF champion because he's the best wrestler in the world today. He says he's had to watch Degeneration-X for long enough, and he's taking HBK's title. He says Shamrock should have stayed in the UFC, because he's going to make Shamrock tap to the figure four on Sunday. Taker's music hits and he makes his way to the ring and says everybody will rest in piece. Commissioner Slaughter finally comes out and says it's time to sign to official contract for this title match. He says before that, each man should know that he's scheduled to wrestle a match here tonight. He tells the Undertaker that tonight he will go one on one with a man that needs some sense knocked into him, and that's Marc Mero. He tells Jeff Jarrett that he's going to have a BIG challenge tonight, because he has to face Vader here tonight. He tells Ken Shamrock that he's going to take on Farooq of the Nation tonight. And HBK will defend his European title against Jim Neidhart. He tells them to sign the contract and they do. HBK then hits Shamrock with sweet chin music out of nowhere, and a brawl starts. Undertaker gets low blowed by HHH, and Jarrett piledrives Taker. HBK and HHH bail as Undertaker does the zombie sit up, and chokeslams Jarrett in the middle of the ring. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** MATCH ONE: BRAIN CHRISTOPHER vs. SCOTT TAYLOR (light heavyweight tournament semifinal): Christopher dominates this match until Taylor hits a DDT, but Christopher gets his foot on the rope at 2. Christopher comes back and slams Taylor off the top rope and then hits his Tennessee Jam leg drop for the three at 3:13. WINNER: Brian Christopher. Ahmed Johnson is backstage, and Michael Cole asks him about his match on Sunday against Marc Mero. Ahmed says that it's a shame a woman as beautiful as Sable is stuck with an asshole like Mero. He says Mero is going to feel the Plunge this Sunday. Mero attacks Johnson from behind and whips him into some crates backstage. Michael Cole runs off, not wanting to get another TKO. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** MATCH TWO: JEFF JARRETT vs. VADER: Vader controls with power stuff right away, but Jarrett chop blocks him and goes after the knee. He keeps Vader on the mat and starts setting him up for the figure four leg lock. Vader fights back with a powerslam for 2. Vader hits a slam and goes for the Vader Bomb, but Goldust comes through the crowd and hits Vader in the head with a hammer again. Jarrett tosses Vader off the buckles and pulls him to the center. He hooks the figure four, and Vader is out. Jarrett wins it at 4:10. WINNER: Jeff Jarrett. After the match, Jarrett leaves. Goldust gets in the ring and starts to choke out Vader. He picks up Vader and chokes him out on the ropes. He tears Vader's mask off, and DDT's a bloody Vader to the mat. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** The Nation of Domination's music hits, and they make their way to the ring accompanied by riot police! The Rock says that Farooq is going to kick Ken Shamrock's ass tonight just like he's going to kick Steve Austin's ass in six days for the intercontinental title. He says he's not scared of Austin, but it's good to have some protection. The Rock says it's going to feel good to take his belt back...oh wait, he says, he already did! He holds up Austin's IC title belt. The Rock's pager goes off, and he checks it. It says "316". One of the riot police rolls into the ring and takes off his helmet. It's Austin of course, and Austin delivers a stunner to the Rock! Austin dishes out Stunners to all the Nation until he is handcuffed and pulled backstage. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Clips of Austin stunning the Rock. MATCH THREE: KEN SHAMROCK vs. FAROOQ: Back and forth brawl to start, as the Nation cheats to help Farooq out. Shamrock rallies with a hurricanrana. He tries the belly-belly, but Farooq blocks it. Farooq tries the dominator, but Shamrock flips out of it and hooks him for the anklelock! Kama runs in and Shamrock breaks the hold and dumps him to the mat. Farooq then charges at Shamrock who ducks out of the way, and Farooq collides with the Rock! Shamrock then hits the belly to belly and into the anklelock, and Farooq taps out at 5:01. WINNER: Ken Shamrock. Farooq argues with the Rock and the rest of the Nation after the match. We are shown Austin being taken away. Austin says he's going to destroy the Nation this Sunday. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** MATCH FOUR: Taka Michinoku vs. Aguila: A good back and forth match, with tons of high flying and high spots. Taka ends up winning with the Michinoku Driver after Aguila misses a moonsault. Taka gets the pin at 4:12. WINNER: Taka Michinoku After the match, Kane's music hits. He comes out and tombstones both light-heavyweights. Paul Bearer gets on the mic and says week after week people will suffer until the Undertaker faces Kane. He asks why the Undertaker refuses to fight his brother? He says the day is coming when they will fight each other. Bearer is then cut off as Cactus Jack's music hits the PA to a big pop! Foley comes out with a trash can full of weapons! He says he doesn't know what the hell is going on with Kane and the Undertaker, and frankly he doesn't care! He says that Mankind couldn't get the job done against Kane at Survivor Series, but Mankind is no Cactus Jack! He says that at Degeneration-X since the Undertaker won't fight Kane, he gladly will! Jack heads to the ring and tosses his weapons in and brawls with Kane! Foley catches Kane with the mandible claw, but Kane fights out of it and chokeslams Foley onto the trash can. Kane sets off his pyro as Bearer laughs. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Michael Cole introduces the new WWF tag team champions, the New Age Outlaws. Billy and the Road Dogg come out and insult Cole. They say that they hear at Degeneration-X there's going to be the first ever tag team turmoil match. They say all the WWF tag teams are going to battle in a gauntlet match, with the winners taking on the Outlaws later that night. They say that no matter who they face at the end of the night, they're not going to lose the titles so soon after they won them. The L.O.D's music hits, and they come to the ring and the Outlaws bail. Animal asks what they're afraid of. The Headbangers come from behind and attack the Outlaws and roll them back into the ring. Hawk and Animal hit each Outlaw with a big Doomsday Device! We see DX backstage fooling around. HBK has a pair of Bret Hart's old glasses that he used to wear to the ring. They make fun of the Hart family and say that Neidhart is going down tonight and at Degeneration-X. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** MATCH FIVE: Shawn Michaels vs. Jim Neidhart (WWF European title match): This isn't much of a match as it turns into an intense brawl right off the bat. Neidhart clotheslines Michaels and tosses him around the ring. HBK comes back with a dropkick and hammers away at the Anvil. Neidhart comes back with a corner avalanche and a powerslam on HBK for 2. HHH then interferes, hooking Neidhart by the ankle, and HBK hits the Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere for the pin at 2:45. WINNER: Shawn Michaels. HHH comes into the ring and holds Neidhart while Chyna pummels him. He then pedigrees the Anvil. HHH gets on the mic and says that since Neidhart is the only Hart member left, he's going to send him packing at Degeneration-X. He challenges him to a match in which the loser leaves the WWF. He says there's no chance of Neidhart beating HHH, because just like the rest of his family, he's a loser. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Backstage, DX congratulates each other. HBK tells Chyna and HHH that their night isn't over yet. MATCH SIX: The Undertaker vs. Marc Mero: Mero slaps the Undertaker across the face to start out. Taker absolutely pummels him from pillar to post in response. Taker hits his flying clothesline for 2. He hits the Old School move and then tries a chokeslam, but Mero counters and stomps Taker's knee. Mero works the knee a bit and then the neck. He chokes Taker out and then dumps him to the floor and hits a flip over the top onto Taker. Mero sends Taker into the ring post and then rolls him back inside. Mero comes off the top with a Merosault for 2. He drops Taker with a flying clothesline, but Taker sits back up. Mero tries the TKO, but Taker easily escapes and chokeslams Mero. He signals for the tombstone, lifts Mero up, and hits it! Taker covers for the three count at 7:04. WINNER: The Undertaker. After the match, Jeff Jarrett runs down and clips the Undertaker from behind. He hooks the figure four on the Undertaker! Ken Shamrock runs down to the ring and pulls Jarrett off and hits the belly-to-belly suplex on him! They roll to the floor and brawl there. Taker gets up, but DX hits the ring and HBK hits Taker in the head with a shovel! On the outside, Shamrock suplexes Jarrett through the timekeeper's table! Taker sits up, so HHH holds Taker and HBK hits him again with the shovel! Shamrock slides into the ring, but Chyna low blows him and HBK hits sweet chin music! HBK stands over the Undertaker and Shamrock and says that he's going to bury everybody's career at Degeneration-X. He holds his title belt high as we fade to black.
