  1. Which match are you looking forward to the most at Summerslam? Current WWE poll results: Benoit vs. Orton 17.86 % JBL vs. Undertaker 23.56 % Triple H vs. Eugene 9.30 % Booker T vs. Cena 4.75 % Hardy vs. Kane 8.04 % Guerrero vs. Angle 9.18 % Six Man Tag Team 4.06 % Edge vs. Y2J vs. Batista 4.13 % Diva Dodgeball 19.08 % Total Votes: 119700 ============ 19% for Diva Dodgeball? Only 9% for Eddie/Angle? People are stupid. Either that or WWE polls are fake. Or both. But how about you? Which matches are you looking forward to seeing? What could you care less about?

    Quick PWG results for 8/14

Great review! Any comments on what made the Punk/Morgan match so bad? Were they blowing spots or was it just slow and boring or what?

    Serious Moments You Found Funny

I remember watching RAW as HHH came out at the end of the show to build for his feud with Kane, and make a shocking revelation. "Kane...you're a murderer!" I laughed my ass of in disbelief at how bad that was.
  5. JoeDirt

    Kane vs. The Ministry

I don't have any first hand knowledge, but things with Russo were scrapped all the time back then, as now. Kane interfered in the Taker/Austin Buried Alive match at Rock Bottom and then did the whole "mental patient" thing while with Chyna before turning face again when Chyna turned on him and HHH turned heel and then teaming with X-Pac to win the tag team titles. But yeah, I don't know if any major feud was planned. Besides, Kane/Taker had been done to death in 1998, so who else could he feud with? Viscera?
  6. JoeDirt

    Quick ROH Generation Next review

Whoops, forgot the rating for the tag title match. I was going back and forth between ***1/4 and ***1/2, so that's where I had that match rated.
  7. JoeDirt

    Summerslam Spoiler.......

Why have Matt win when he's going to be out 6-8 months? Why not have HBK attack Kane on RAW the next night or attack Kane after he beats Hardy and is trying to injure him?

First Sixteen For Ted Petty Invitational Announced

Yep, no surprises here. Would have been shocked if Daniels, the IWA-MS regular and defending champ, wasn't in it. Looks great so far. I have a feeling CM Punk is going to be one of the final six, too.
  9. I think they all lose money. But as far as how much they sell I have no idea on specifics.
  10. JoeDirt

    Smackdown post-Summerslam

So JBL is most likely going to retain at Summerslam, and Taker will go into a feud with John Heidenreich... With the next SD PPV after Summerslam in October, who do you think will get the next program with JBL? Or will they just do a JBL/Angle/Eddie thing?

    3PW August 21st

How have the last 3 shows been?
  12. http://www.paradisecityninjas.bravehost.co...lcanogirls.html I just got done reading this, and it's a FANTASTIC review. I REALLY want to see that six man elimination match now.

    3PW August 21st

Joey Matthews is replacing Ki in the four way match and it's now for the title. Ruckus' title shot just went bye-bye, not that anyone cares. Now, will they put the title on AJ? I guess we'll see...
  14. I'm looking for some pictures from Family Guy of the old perverted guy with the high pitched voice who wants the "muscley armed paper boy" Chris. Also any other funny pictures from the show would be great. Thanks!

    *SPOILERS * Smackdown!

Was the explanation of that summer relay match confusing to anyone else but me? No? Okay then, I'm an idiot.
  16. Maybe if they fire Holly, we can get the highly anticipated Jeff Jarrett vs. Hardcore Holly match in TNA! YEAH!!!! But yeah, I can see the dress code being a pain in the ass, but they won't do much besides grumble about it.
  17. JoeDirt

    Smackdown post-Summerslam

Looking at SD right now, they REALLY need to bring up some young talent on that show. Cena is probably a future champ, but after that you have Eddie, Angle, Taker...guys that have all been there before. Big Show returning will only add to that. And pushing Heidenreich is NOT the answer.

A fantastic review of IWA-MS Volcano Girls

As far as the topic of the show goes, I think doing all-women's shows is still a big risk for IWA-MS. I want to get this show for the elimination match and the tag match, and the fact that it has great women's wrestling is just a huge bonus. Hopefully, though, after I see this show I'll be more into women's wrestling, because I don't think I've ever seen it done really well.

A fantastic review of IWA-MS Volcano Girls

Yeah, it's not good to stereotype entire fan groups. I suppose there are idiots at any indy show you go to.

    IWA Schedule Changes

Matt Sydal vs. Nate Webb added to a GREAT card. Here's the official word: A few notes on the upcoming 8/21 Highland card... * Matt Sydal vs. "Spyder" Nate Webb in light heavyweight action has been added to the card! Though these two men have faced one another in the past in IWA competition, this will be the first time they do battle in front of the Highland crowd. * IWA World Heavyweight Champion Petey Williams will not be able to make an appearance on 8/21 to defend the title due to prior obligations. * The bell time for the event is 7:30pm, not 7:00pm as incorrectly listed here on the web site yesterday. Fans can take note that beginning in October, we will be moving the Highland events to 7:00pm start times, so as to better accomodate the length of the shows, and get fans home a little earlier than they have been. Again, 8/21 and TPI will remain 7:30pm bell times. The switch will go into effect in October. Below is the up to date card for 8/21 in Highland... -- IWA Mid-South returns to action on Saturday night, August 21st, at the Lincoln Center (2450 Lincoln Street) in Highland, Indiana. 21. I was wondering if this show was any good. Here are the matches on the show - it just seems to be unique for the time period. 1.W*ING Kanemura vs Roadkill 2.Taz vs Chris Candido 3.Shark Tsuchiya vs Lady Cooga 4.Sandman vs Buh Buh Dudley (Sandman gets injured and Balls Mahoney comes out & takes his place) 5.Youngbloods vs Bushwackers 6.Shane Douglas vs Tommy Dreamer 7.Sabu vs Mankind 8.Hayabusa/Masato Tanaka/Jinsei Shinzaki vs Headhunters/Jake Roberts 9.Bret Hart vs Terry Funk .
  22. I really haven't followed the WWE much this summer, just reading results online occasionally. Anyways, I know that the GAB PPV sucked horribly, but I was wondering how good/bad these two PPVs were, and if they're worth getting a DVD or a bootlegged copy of. Which was better, in your opinion?

    Biggest styles clash match ever

Speaking of a "styles clash" I suppose TNA's match with AJ Styles vs. Sandman was one.
