    Tonight's Survivor

Totally agree, that reunion showed exactly why he's my favorite survivor player. He doesn't get too tied up in the game and maintains a level head about everything. And he met a Cabana boy! Ha!

    Oh shit, oh shit

It's not quite fair to say that there were NO great matches during that time period. Hart/Bulldog at Summerslam 1992...Savage Steamboat at WM5...there's more than a handful. ...The FUCK!? Jesus Man, you try standing up for the classics, and spout off the WRONG Show. Who are you, Jim Ross? Back on topic: Since I have or gradually am buying copies of these "Classic PPVs", I wouldn't need the DVDs, because they are probably poor quality. Whoops, hit the 5 instead of 3. At least I remember the Hogan/Warrior match from Wrestlemania 2 like it was yesterday.

    Tonight's Survivor

If you're not willing to play the game, why play the game? Only one person can win, of COURSE you're probably going to get lied to and voted off. Lex and Alicia and Kathy - pretty much sour grapes. Rob shouldn't have been mad at Tom, though - he was blindly and stupidly thinking he could go to the final two with Mariano.

Rupert will get the million in a landslide. He's been edited so positively and everyone loves him. No one else stands a chance.

I missed it - what was Jerri saying going off on how entertainment has exploited them? That seemed like something CBS didn't want her to say. EDIT: Ha! She left. Awesome.

    Best ECW shows ever?

I've only seen a limited amount of ECW shows. I've seen Hostile City Showdown from 1995, and several PPVs from 1999-2000. I've seen Wrestlepalooza 1997 as well. But besides that, I haven't seen much. So what are known as the best shows in ECW history? Does any of it hold up today?

    Tonight's Survivor

If this was wrestling we'd get Lex vs. Mariano in a cage, with Amber slamming the door on Rob's head and turning on him.

    Tonight's Survivor

That was pretty predictable. The only votes they didn't show were Lex, Shi, and Rupert. Lex and Shi were obviously going to vote for Amber. So what's the twist, the audience gets to vote to give someone else a million or something?

    New School Question Thread

Well he was a heel, so it wasn't a turn...but I don't think they ever explained why he was with Coach.

    Tonight's Survivor

Wow. This was a predictable and boring season of Survivor.

  12. I was watching an old RAW from early August 1993 after Lex Express Mania was running wild. Anyways, it was one of the "Who is Lex Luger?" interviews that are just extremely sappy. I thought a funny line from it was something to the effect of: "Back in high school if you were shy, and you excelled in something, people took it that you were arrogant, and it's like a vicious circle. It was really strange, and sometimes I think that I fight that to this very day in my career." Well duh, no shit. You came to the ring and stared at yourself in a mirror...no arrogance there, right Lex? I mean come on...did people really buy this shit? Did the marks love Lex at the time, and the smart marks despise him?

    IWA-MS cards for 5/7 and 5/8

Is it still going to be called IWA-MS? Or NWA Indiana? And can they not do the deathmatch stuff because they're going to be part of the NWA, or is that a separate decision?

  15. Was Steve Austin really booked to win the title at the Final Four match, but the end had to be changed when he got hurt?
  16. I know Frankie Kazarian and Alex Shelley use that as a finisher...don't know when they started, though. How about holding a guy in front of you and doing a lionsault while you hold him so you land right on him? That'd be pretty tough to do. Whenever Rock/Angle wrestled, I wanted to see Rock go for the People's Elbow, and Angle grab his ankle as he kicked up before dropping the elbow and hooking the anklelock. But then Rock/Jericho did something like this at No Mercy 2001.

    IWA-MS cards for 5/7 and 5/8

Sounds like another great show. Surprised Homicide went over Hero, though...couldn't Hero use a big win going into his feud with Joe?

    Ring Of Honor DVD Sale

I love ROH, but I must be one of the VERY few who didn't like MSE as much as everyone else I can't wait to see the first two from 2004, though. I also like Tradition Continues simply for the fourway, Joe/Briscoe, and Styles/Punk. And shit, now I want to see Empire State Showdown.

Bad Blood and Great American Bash Promo Posters

Yeah, that's what I said about Armageddon's last year, No Way Out and Backlash this year and look what happened there. The worst is frickin' Shane getting the cover of the Survivor Series poster.

    Ring Of Honor DVD Sale

Yeah, this pretty much says it all right here. Scramble Madness is also a pretty decent 2002 show if you want to pick up another cheap one. But the mid-late 2003 stuff has been great, and I can't wait to see the first two shows from 2004.

    WWE Gimmick News

"Nathan Jones" "John Heidenreich" In today's WWE, it's not as easy to get over if you're new & devoid of talent. You can probably add Matt Morgan to that list. Not that he doesn't have talent...but he's still WAY too green.

Jordan vs. Akio now. Poor Yang is a big jobber, and it seems like Sakoda never even wrestles.
