Harris d. Raven Now...discuss!
-
D'Lo and Apollo d. Kash and Dallas by DQ - new champs Harris vs. Raven in the cage is up.
-
Brown d. Sabu - Abyss put Sabu through a table during the match.
-
Diamond d. Swinger Brown vs. Sabu is up.
-
Oh, well yeah, you're absolutely right about that. The difference between Bradshaw and Dibiase is BIG.
-
Kazarian says he should be on team NWA since he beat Lynn, Skipper, and Dutt. Abyss comes out and beats up Kazarian and Dutt for some reason. Harris has a hurt arm. AJ tries to take his spot in the cage match, but Harris won't let him. Swinger vs. Diamond is up.
-
True...though none of them have had much practice yet, I guess. But still...the WWE is slowly becoming 1993 all over again.
-
Kazarian d. Dutt - no surprise there.
-
But Test is awesome! Speaking of Test...wasn't he doing a Narcissist type thing not too long ago? I guess not all out with the mirror and everything, but still.
-
I think Kazarian is pretty good in the ring, but he has Mark Jindrak levels of connection with the fans.
-
Kazarian and Dutt is up next.

If it all starts over after a month or two, does that mean that he will think that he is still the GM like he was a month before he was hit again, and start telling people what to do, and set up matches out of no where? I'm guessing he'd bring the Great American Award again, try to award it to JBL, but the thing is, JBL failed to live up to his push and he will be regulated back to a midcarder. So while Angle is giving it to JBL again, it would not only lead to a very weird moment, but it would lead to JBL not wanting to recieve the award because he knows Eddie would come out and destroy it anyway. Or maybe Eddie will go back to the past to prevent Big Show from chokeslamming Kurt and injuring him, so he doesn't have to go through all this again. He can pull a Cartman: "Wow, March was so long ago. I wonder what life was like back then...back then...back then..."

Jarrett d. Storm (GASP!) Raven attacks Harris, trying to injure him. Swinger promo, doesn't say much.

I second the nomination for Chicago for the 2005 Rumble. I'm hoping they bring a PPV here to North Carolina this upcoming year...the last one we had was Judgment Day 2003. (Uggh) I also nominate Minneapolis for a PPV. Don't think they've had one since Summerslam 99. EDIT: Also - how many PPVs are they adding in 2005? This year they added one in June and one in October. But there's a RAW PPV in January 2005?

"A preview for the new show "The WWE Experience" was advertised. The show debuts on May 2, 2004 on Spike TV. No time was announced." So that's the show replacing Confidential...I wonder what it'll be. Doesn't sound like an actual wrestling show, though.

I like drinking, and I like wrestling. So let's do this. I'll start us off. Anytime you're watching an HHH match from 96 or 97, and Vince says "Hunter Hearst Helmsley", take a drink. Anytime JR mentions somebody's background playing football, take a drink. Anytime Shawn Michaels throws a mid match tantrum, take a shot. Come on, add to the list.

My prediction for the WWE's winning caption choice: "Smack your TV? More like Smack your Bischoff!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL~!"
-
See what you can come up with for this one: And last week's picture, with the WWE's choice of winning captions... Fred from Michigan writes: "You know, Sable, Herbal Essences isn't the only thing that can make you feel that good." Trevor from Maryland writes: "You have a killer body, but these split ends have got to go."
-
Damn, you guys are way more creative than I am. Although three Chapelle show references is kinda stretching it.
-
Call me crazy, but I actually want to see this ep of Smackdown. I'm way more interested in it than seeing Bradshaw getting his hat stolen and spit in. And I guess with the whole Angle angle...I want to see how it plays out before judging it. But I'd guess that Vince and company were distraught by the sinking ratings, and are going to try and pull a few over the top stunts to bring the viewers back.

As long as Jim Ross isn't set on fire, I'm happy.

Non Spoiler Smackdown/Velocity match listings

Kevin Fertig of OVW (Seven, I believe his name was?) as a bleach blonde dark sinister type guy named Mordecai. We'll see what the vignette is like. -

Yeah man. Weird spoilers this week. A lot of people thought they were fake at first, actually, but they're not. At least SD is trying some different things, I guess. Things to look forward to: Mark Jindrak gets a gimmick Rico and Jackie's runway debut Kevin Fertig from OVW gets a debut vignette for a new character Rene Dupree might get an interview segment thing starting next week? And an angle at the end of the show that...well...we'll see. -
Dumbest decision ever.
-
Wow. Weirdest spoilers ever. I thought they were fake at first, too. Jindrak as the new Narcissist? Fine by me. At least they're doing SOMETHING with him. But they really ARE going back to 1993 with all the gimmicks they're bringing in these days, aren't they? Mordecai? Sounds fine to me. Dudleys as tag champs? Either a mistake, or maybe they'll shoot an angle where the Duds steal the tag belts or something? EDIT: And maybe the Kurt thing is to let Big Show get suspended, and take time off for the knees. Kurt is replaced for a week or two on the show by Vince. Then Taker comes back to get revenge on Vince for Survivor Series, and we get Taker vs. Vince in a casket match or something like that for JD. Just a thought.
