That Snapshot on Rey looked really good. The debut would have been better if they had given them vignettes, though.

Well, one more shitty segment (Torrie vs. Dawn) and then we get to the good stuff. (Carlito's Cabana~!~!~!) So what the hell is the point of having Torrie wrestle Dawn? I just don't get it. Why not have the girls manage somebody, so they can be a part of mixed tags and stuff like that?

That would be awesome. Jordan must be hurt still, because they're really protecting him in the ring and he's still wearing those different ring tights.

Don't worry. No one cares. Good point. Oh, and another reason to watch tonight is some more Heidenreich poetry.
  6. Gabe Sapolsky pimped CCW on the ROH boards today. Cool stuff. Where in NC is Lenoir?

I didn't really think so, but I can edit it I guess.

Here's what's on tap: 1) Booker T vs. Orlando Jordan 2) Torrie vs. Dawn Marie 3) Heidenreich vs. No-name jobber 4) Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle Plus Carlito's Cabana with guest Rey Misterio, stuff with the cruiserweight title, Cena with a title belt presentation, and more. The spoilers make the show sound pretty good, actually, so I can't wait to see it.

    WWF/E Tidbits from the past

Well that would work for the Mordecai entrance...but the other two were taped segments that didn't take place in the arena, or at least not in the main area.

I'm excited for the Cabana, Eddie vs. Kurt, and follow up with the Chavo/Kidman/London stuff from last week. Should be a fun show.

    WWF/E Tidbits from the past

Last year when footage of Mordecai's entrance, the Concrete Crypt match finish, and the end to No Mercy was leaked on to the internet before the PPVs even started, how did that footage get out?
  13. 14. Why did Warrior take time off between Summerslam 1991 and Wrestlemania 8? Was anyone else ever considered to be the guy who got to beat Hogan and WM6?

    IWA-MS 4/29 and 4/30 thread

Fannin said Billy Gunn was really cool, even helping them take down the ring and sweep after the show, something a "big star" they bring in never really does.

The real story on the Matt-Lita situation (DOI)

God, the DOI is so awful. You have to love "news" stories with things like "despite Lita's slutty ways..."

  18. Jesus (Aaron Aguilera) was released by World Wrestling Entertainment today, according to a source close to the situation. He had been out of action after neck surgery following a short run as a bodyguard for Carlito Caribbean Cool on the Smackdown brand, including a PPV bout against John Cena. Also released today was former ECW star Chilly Willy (Will Jones), who was signed to a developmental deal and had been training in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Jones signed in November 2004 after returning to the United States from Iraq, where he earned a purple heart serving in the United States Army. Jones had been appearing on OVW TV in recent weeks, including an interview with Jim Cornette where he discussed serving in Iraq. Ring of Honor regular CM Punk worked the Raw taping earlier tonight in a tag match taped for Heat against Maven and Simon Dean. I don't have much else in the way of results other than Joey Matthews and Johnny Nitro working a dark match, so if you attended tonight's Raw taping, feel free to send a report. Speaking of the Raw taping, I've already heard of one instance of a pro-Matt Hardy sign that read "I'll Miss Matt" being confiscated by security. --PWInsider.com

Kurt vs. Eddie for 20 minutes more than makes up for Cena having a goofy world title belt, in my book. Add in MNM debuting and London in what sounds like a cool segment and I know I'll be watching.

    Smackdown and Velocity spoilers

I'm so glad they gave Paul London mic time and seem to be taking the CW title feud seriously. Heidenreich being turned babyface? The Cena/JBL segment sounds kind of lame, but oh well.

The gimmick is a "Hollywood Hotshots" type thing. They come to the ring in OVW with a red carpet and "paparazzi" that snap pictures of them. They are a really good pesky heel tag team in that they're smaller, so they can bump like crazy to make the faces look good, and usually cheat a lot to take over and win a match.
