    The Ultimate Fighter

Are you guys surprised there wasn't more takedowns/submissions/wrestling in that match?

I can't believe it's unanimous. Congrats to Forrest, what a fight.

Meltzer: "Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar is FINALLY in the ring. Incredible first round. They traded bombs back and forth. Each stunned the other. Griffin was winning early, then Bonnar took over with solid shots. Griffin took Bonnar down in the last minute and went for an armbar. Maybe slightly to Griffin, but Griffin is not in as good a shape as Bonnar and I think that will tell later Second round was incredible. This is one of the great fights in UFC history. Bonnar won the second round. Both guys are dying from working so hard. Griffin has a bad cut on the bridge of the nose. This is Bonnar's round, and he's in better shape. I'm shocked Griffin lasted round two because he was dying. Both of these guys deserve to win. Okay, third round so was ridiculously close. I'm going with Griffin even though he looks worse. This can go either way. My feeling is that UFC needs to sign both men, regardless of who wins. They are saying if it's a draw, they go three more minutes, and it's possibly a draw."

Dana and everyone marking out in the crowd was awesome. Wow, I am in awe of these two guys. This is the fight UFC needed on this show.

I can't believe there hasn't been more blood, to be honest.

    The Ultimate Fighter

Meltzer was right, Bonnar is in better shape and it's making the difference...

I'm surprised, but Joe Rogan is doing well on color and seems to really be loving this. Oh man, more bomb throwing...wow. You know Dana White is LOVING this fight.

Not quite "Bret Hitman Clark" but what is it with these Buffers and not knowing names?! I missed the intros, what did he say? Here we go, round 2!

What's the weight limit for heavyweights? Maybe some of the more talented people could move up in weight?

So for the guys that know more about UFC, how often does a guy, say Diego, end up fighting on PPV? Have there been any talks who some people are he might face? And how do they decide who gets title shots in UFC? I have to say Bonnar for this next fight, but it's going to be close.

I figured the fact that they just signed Franklin to an 8 year deal meant that he was expected to win.

    The Ultimate Fighter

Anyone want to make Shamrock/Franklin and Bonnar/Griffin predictions? I don't know much about Franklin, but is he expected to beat Shamrock?
  18. JoeDirt

    The Ultimate Fighter

    That was fucking dominant.
  19. JoeDirt

    The Ultimate Fighter

Well does ANYONE think Florian is winning? He has to be a huge underdog. I say Diego by submission in round one.

This should be good...I hope the undercard matches that air (if they do) are good ones.
  22. Shawn mouthed off to Bret one time too many, and Bret took him down and yanked out a couple of large chunks of hair and gave Shawn a few good bruises as well. It got broken up pretty quickly, but not as fast as it could have been, if you know what I mean. So he just refused to wrestle? Any idea what plans (if any) they had with the HBK/Austin tag team, or was Michaels walking out not that big a deal for them creatively at the time? As far as Survivor Series, if I was Vince I would have had a no contest finish at Survivor Series, put the title on Taker at the MSG show six days later, and tape that match to air on the RAW eight days after Survivor Series. Then HBK could win the title either at the DX PPV or in the casket match with Kane's help at the Rumble. Seems to make sense to me and be easier than the risk he took in screwing Bret over.
  23. Somehwat related question: What's the story behind HBK walking out after getting into a backstage fight with Bret when he was tag champ, forcing them to vacate his half of the belt and do the whole tournament thing that ended with Dude Love as a tag champ?
  24. When did Shawn supposedly find religion and change his life and all that jazz?

JIMMY JACOBS def. CM PUNK to retain the IWA World Heavyweight Title. The event was filmed with two cameras by Smart Mark Video for home video release, with commentary by Dave Prazak, CM Punk, Jim Fannin, and Trik Davis.
