How are ya only paying $5? Splitting it with 6 friends?
-
Do you guys think this could get fewer buys than some of the RAW or Smackdown only PPVs this year? I just think this has been a really badly hyped PPV.
-
...Because they probaly are gonna be doing something on the PPV. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!~!~!~!
-
WWE fans OBVIOUSLY don't remember things like long ago. Plus, they have to do SOMETHING to make tonight's card feel special and get buys, right?
-
And RVD hasn't had a real storyline or feud since.

I'M SICK OF FUCKING TOUGH ENOUGH RECAPS!!!!

That tournament has a Rob Van Dam vs. Kevin Nash (Vinnie Vegas) match. Weird.
-
I'm sure it was angle to help set up the 32-man tournament Russo and company wanted to do. And Hogan was probably hurt or something, too. He had knee problems in 1999. Can you guys think of specific matches where the original booking was changed because of someone's political maneuvering, bitching, etc? There must have been a LOT of that in WCW.
-
That must be the worst e-fed ever.
-
Did Blitzkrieg ever get a win in WCW? I'm sure he did, but I can only remember losses to Rey, Malenko, Juvy, and Eddie. It's really amazing how much he got over with net fans in the short time he was in WCW. Jack Evans says Blitz was a big inspiration to him. Was there any particular reason why Nash was put on the booking team in late 98? Did someone step down or were they unhappy with the product or something?
-
Speaking of Hammer, am I on crack or did he shortly do some angle/gimmick where he attacked people while dressed like the killer from Scream?
-
You can preorder it now on bestbuy.com for $16.99...that's the best price I've seen so far.

They would sell huge, but Vince would rather go broke using his own ideas than make money using someone else's. Well they're going to make money of ECW...what's the difference?
-
There was a weird Nitro I had some friends go do in Fargo, North Dakota in April of 99. The title changed twice in the show. Sting beat DDP, and then DDP won the title back in a fourway at the end of the night by pinning Nash. The Armstrongs got a pin over RAVEN. Rey Misterio beat Psychosis to win back the cruiserweight title he lost on Nitro a week before. Ric Flair is at his mental hospital and sees Scott Hall there. Weird, weird show.

Thanks for reminding me SNL is on. -
WWE really needs to put out a series of "Best of WCW" DVDs. They'd sell huge, I bet.

Demott is kind of funny. Bashams are boring as always. -

Yeah, I definitely stopped watching for that whole recap segment. They showed it twice on Smackdown and now again on Velocity. Enough is enough! Recap of Tazz almost going to fight Heidenreich. Maybe that's Big John's next feud? -
Who was booking WCW at the end (2001) when the young guys and cruiserweights were getting pushes? Where did the Reese/Juvy feud come from? What was Paul Wight's last match with WCW? When did Giant join/leave/join/leave the nWo? Why did Piper/Savage team together at GAB 98 and then wrestle each other right after that match? Didn't Vince Russo suggest that Tank Abbott win the belt at Souled Out 2000 after Bret was hurt, leading to him getting fired? How did Russo end up getting brought back in April? Did anything ever come of Mike Awesome's WCW debut when he attacked Kevin Nash? I remember Nash costing Awesome a match at Spring Stampede, but that's it.
