I read somewhere that this is RF's new fed...is that true?
-
Didn't really expect this, but I don't really care. Weird that Gail was on RAW on Monday, but oh well. I'm sure Palumbo will be a big star on the indies.

Isn't one of the main problems the fact that these amendments will not only stop gay marriage but be used to stop civil unions as well? I just don't see what's wrong with a civil union, but sadly the wording of these amendments will be used to make sure gay couples don't get any rights or privileges.

How about the Road Wild crowd in Sturgis booing the hell out of Harlem Heat no matter what they did?
-
I'd vote for Tim Calhoun --Okay, NOW I'm leaving...
-
Why the hell hasn't New Mexico been called yet? Well, I think I'm just going to go to bed. Have fun, those of you who stay up late.
-
I'm honestly floored that they seem ready to fight it. -=Mike You're really that surprised? I'm not. I bet the Republicans would do the same thing. No way to know for sure, but in an election this hot, this polarized, this contested, I'm not surprised at all that these people who have devoted their lives to this campaign for months aren't ready to give up right now, even if it is a HUGE stretch to think that Kerry could possibly win somehow.

Any updates on how the major ballot initiatives around the country did?
-
New Mexico is going to have to be called for Bush soon.
-
Was New Hampshire ever called?
-
HEEL TURN~! I love it. Then Kerry comes out and they start brawling, before Vanessa Kerry runs out and turns on her Dad and maces him. Then she announces that she and Edwards are fucking. That's Russo booking our election, baby.
-
It's not arrogance...it's just clinging to hope. Oh great, here's Edwards.
-
Apparently Edwards is being sent out to speak sometime soon.
-
Yeah 2 were obviously going to fall in, but weren't quite massive enough to call until now. 11 for 11 is NO surprise. People are overwhelmingly against gay marriage throughout the nation.
-
The Dems said they wanted it to be down to 50,000 when the night was over and then hope for provisional ballot help. Right now it's over 120,000.

CNN says that the Red Sox owner's private plane is getting ready "to deploy Democratic lawyers." Here we go...
-
No. The country is overwhelmingly in favor of banning same sex marriage. Now whether this will be used to prevent civil unions is a whole other issue. And the fact that the majority of America is for it still doesn't make it right, at least in my eyes. But that's obviously a whole other argument...

I agree Loss. I'm worried, but I REALLY hope I'm wrong about everything.

Well, Kerry isn't going to concede for a while, but I think it's pretty much over, even if it takes a week or two. I voted for Kerry and hoped he would win. Doesn't look like he's going to. I don't know what's going to happen with our country in the next four years, but President Bush has a big job ahead of him on a ton of different fronts. There are a lot of people out there hurting, and I really hope under his leadership America can improve in the next four years. Cheers, everybody. It's going to be interesting to say the very least.

If by "we" you mean the Republicans, yes, yes you would have. I'd like to see McCain run. I respect him a lot.

Send that memo to Kerry please. OBAMA in '12! (That's right I'm conceeding '08, Dems need to restructure) Who do you guys think the GOP nominee will be in 2008? Jeb?

Unfortunately, it looks like my homestate is going Democratic again this year due to the Yucaa Mountain controversy. New Mexico, Iowa, and Wisconsin, normally Democratic states are teasing a Bush win. I was actually just asking about the actual TIMES the polls close, not which states flipped from red to blue or vice versa.
-
Since I'm doing a research paper on election night media coverage, maybe you guys can help me out here: 1) Did all states have the same poll closing times this year as they did in 2000, or did any states change? 2) Is there a web page that lists what time each network called each state for Bush or Kerry? Thanks!
