Posted by Ed Ferrara on another board, responding to a question about the briefcase thing at KOTR99: "To be honest, to the best of my memory we didn't have a definitive answer as to WHO did the raising -- with all of VKM's power, it went without saying that he could have intimidated/paid off just about anyone to make sure that happened. Like it or not, we never planned to make a big deal out of it. Plus, that was a bit of "rainy-day" booking -- if we ever wanted in the future, we had an instant, ready-to-go angle. All we had to do was have it "come out" that it was [bLANK] who raised the briefcase in that match, and we had a storyline that we could have gone any number of different directions with." So there's your answer, folks! The mystery is revealed!

-Mike Tenay is in the ring to start the show, and announces that Sid has been fined for his attack on Sting last week. He says the board has decided that as punishment, Sting will get to choose what type of match he wants to face Sid in tonight in the tournament! Sid comes out and throws a tantrum, and Sting then comes out and says he wants Sid in a SUBMISSION match! The announcers mention that Sid is a power wrestler, not one who ever gets submissions! 1) The Mountie d. Stevie Richards at 5:08 to open the show after kicking out of a Stevie Kick and Stevie-T and then pinning Richards with a rolling cradle. **1/4 After the match, Richards got on the mic and said that he wasn't the best wrestler anymore, and said that he decided he wanted to be the best manager in the history of wrestling. Richards offered to be Mountie's manager, and Mountie agreed. Richards said that he would assemble the best stable in the UWE! -Randy Orton talked to Josh Matthews. He was frustrated about losing to Ken Shamrock, but said that things would get better for him, starting tonight. 2) TV title semifinal: Rey Misterio d. Sean O'Haire with a body scissors rollup at 6:57. **1/2 O'Haire looked impressive here but Misterio still pulled off the victory. After the match, Richards and Mountie came to the ring. Mountie shocked Rey with his stun gun! Richards offered O'Haire a spot in his just-starting-to-form stable, and O'Haire agreed! -Shawn Michaels was backstage talking about winning the UWE world title. Ken Shamrock came by and said that no, HE would be winning the title at First Blood. Michaels challenged Shamrock to a match tonight "just because I want to kick your stupid ass" and Shamrock agreed! 3) Shawn Michaels and Ken Shamrock went to a no contest at 5:05 when Masa Chono and Randy Orton stormed the ring (the two guys HBK and Shamrock beat last week) and ruined the match! *1/2 Chono and Orton tied HBK and Shamrock to the ropes and beat them with kendo sticks! Finally Christopher Daniels, Rey Misterio, and Paul London ran down to make the save. -Josh Matthews interviewed Orton and Chono, asking why they did what they did. Orton said that they were just sending a message to whoever is going to become the first UWE world champ at First Blood that as soon as they win that belt, they're going to have a target on their chest. Orton says that he and Chono challenge HBK and Shamrock to a tag match tonight! 4) Brian Pillman d. Paul London at 7:55 after using brass knucks to knock out London and then roll him up for the pin. **1/2 -Paul London was backstage, complaining about Pillman using knucks on him. London was told that he would get the first title shot at the television champion at First Blood. 5) World title qualifier: Sting d. Sid in a submission match at 9:35 with the scorpion deathlock to qualify for the world title match at First Blood. Sting was out of his league here, as he couldn't get Sting to tap. Sting worked over Sid's back the whole match and got him to tap to the scorpion deathlock after blocking a powerbomb **1/2 6) World title qualifier: Randy Savage d. British Bulldog at 4:14 after hitting the big elbow drop after shoving Bulldog off the top when Bulldog tried a superplex. *1/4 -We see a graphic showing HBK, Shamrock, Sting, and Savage as the four men who will collide at First Blood for the UWE world title! 7) Anderson and Eaton d. Jerry Lynn and La Parka to retain the UWE tag team titles at 2:40 when La Parka turned on Lynn and hit him with a chair. 1/2* After the match, La Parka unmasked as Stan Lane! Tenay screamed "THAT'S NOT LA PARKA~!" -HBK and Shamrock are shown backstage preparing for their match tonight in the main event. 8) Randy Orton and Masahiro Chono d. Shawn Michaels and Ken Shamrock when Randy Savage came to the ring and hit HBK with a chair, leading to Orton hitting the RKO for the pinfall at 9:10! ***1/4 After that, Sting ran to the ring and brawled with Savage, but Stevie Richards, Shawn O'Haire, and the Mountie came to the ring and Mountie stun gunned Sting! Stevie then announced that Savage, Orton and Chono had all signed with him to form what would become the most feared stable in wrestling called "Clockwork Violence"! Stevie then said that as far as HBK, Shamrock, and Sting go, their time was up! All three men were piled in the ring as Stevie pulled out a bottle of LIGHTER FLUID and poured it on them! Stevie pulled out a match as security ran to the ring, but Savage, Mountie, O'Haire, Orton, and Chono fought them off. Stevie then said "welcome to hell" and lit the match and dropped it! We fade to black! Next week: Rey Misterio vs. Brian Pillman in the TV title finals Jerry Lynn vs. Stan Lane Plus, Sting, Michaels, and Shamrock will surely be out for revenge! At First Blood: HBK vs. Shamrock vs. Savage vs. Sting (UWE world title) ??? vs. Paul London (UWE TV title)

"Monster Tag Team" Tournament...
JoeDirt replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
Natural Disasters d. Men on a Mission when Mo misses a moonsault and Quake crushes him by sitting on his face. Yeah. Harris Bros d. Nasty Boys with the H-Bomb on Saggs! Williams and Gordy d. Undertaker and Kane by countout when Taker and Kane remember they hate each other and brawl backstage. Akeem and Bossman d. Sid and Spivey after Sid tries to powerbomb Akeem but fails, and Bossman drills him in the back of the head with the nightstick. Scott Norton and Ice Train d. Andre and Haku in an upset when Andre falls out of the ring and can't get back in, and Haku is double teamed and put away with Norton's dreaded FULL NELSON~! T&A d. Headhunters when Trish Stratus shoves a Headhunter off the top when he's trying a moonsault. Albert hits the Baldo Bomb and Test finishes with a top rope elbow drop. Oddities d. Road Warriors in another upset when Earthquake (dressed as Golga) hits a leg drop on Hawk on the floor and rolls him back in. Kurrgan hits a backbreaker and gets the pin. Vader and Mankind d. Duggan and Awesome after Awesome turns on Duggan and Awesomebombs him through a table at ringside and leaves. Duggan is counted out and Vader and Mankind advance! -
Wow, that's a lot of stuff. Interesting results.

PWG Offers "Free Admission!! (Just Kidding)" 11/13
JoeDirt replied to PsychoDriver's topic in General Wrestling
I kind of hope they put the title on Super Dragon here. Daniels/Evans is interesting. And man, these IWS guys are getting booked everywhere now. -
Whether it was WWF/WWE, WCW, ECW, or maybe some shitty indy, what was the worst show you've ever seen live and why?
-
Steph is the voice of reason in creative? *shudders*

It's a shame there aren't more Fawlty Towers episodes...that's one funny ass show.
-
He posts at some Vince Russo fan site forum.

Now if people don't no show like the last show then they'll be in business...

What's wrong with Hay-Seuss?

Oh, and apparently CCC's thug buddy is named "Jesus" and since WWE just trademarked the name "Jesus Aguilera" I'm guessing it's Aaron Aguilera from UPW AKA the Hardkore Kidd on the west coast:

Tough Enough stuff sounds like an abortion. Angle vs. Rey is cool. Team Angle vs. Team Guerrerro and Booker vs. JBL at Survivor Series as expected. Should be okay matches. How many times has RVD beaten Rene Dupree now? Wow. Good to see they know Dawn and Torrie's roles on Smackdown. Wow are they useless. I like how the FBI go face and then heel with no explanation or anything. Eh, fuck it.

Dark Match: *Muhammed Hassan (with Khasrow Daivari) defeated Val Venis via submission with the Camel Clutch. Hassan and Daivari's gimmick (based off the mic work they did tonight) appears to be that although they grew up in America, ever since 9/11, they feel as if they are being treated differently by people and they have targets on the back of their head. It sounds as if it's a heel deal where they are striking out for being treated wrongly by "Anti-Arabic" Americans. Sunday Night Heat: *Rhyno pinned Rodney Mack with the Gore. Tajiri put Jazz in the Tarantula during the ending moments of the match. *La Resistance defeated Ken Anderson and former WCW star Lenny Lane, who were announced by their last names only. *Chris Benoit pinned Chuck Palumbo. Benoit carried both World Tag Team championship belts. Palumbo called himself "Custom Chucky P" making a lot of references to customized cars. Palumbo got a lot of offense, including getting to the ropes while in the crippler crossface and evading the Sharpshooter.

Well I guess Wrestlemania 8 was in April, but oh well. My fault. Anyways, please proceed.

Maybe JBL/Jordan/Angle/Jindrak/Reigns vs. Booker/Show/Eddy/RVD/Misterio?
-
They'll go the WCW route. It'll all be forgotten after Survivor Series, just like how the WCW babyfaces didn't help Luger at Road Wild 97.
-
Ha! I was actually right in the RAW thread!
-
Orton RKO'd him. Benoit suplxes him. Jericho hit the lionsault. Maven applauded. Yup, they know their roles. -=Mike Well somehow I doubt Maven's inside cradle would have popped the crowd.
-
Nah, they're just ready to leave. -=Mike Yeah, that makes more sense.
-
Man, the crowd is on the edge of their seats for this one.
-
Flair flops. The crowd cheers. Orton raises his arms in the air. Everyone quiets down.
