    Well so far I'm guessing: 1) 2) 3) 4) Windham? (Then who's the MLW guy?) 5) 6) 7) 8) SD Jones 9) KK Bundy 10) Hogan? 11) Tito 12) Windham? 13) 14) Piper 15) Studd 16) Rotunda 17) 18) 19) 20) 21) Steamboat 22)

Nope, they were in the fourway tag team opener with Furnas/Lafon, Godwinns, and Headbangers.

    WM1 trivia

Windham was in WM1 and WM13 as part of the New Blackjacks, wasn't he? That would be a longer period of time. Who won their first title in 2000? Somebody with a hardcore title win in WCW or WWF?

    WM1 trivia

I'm guessing the guy with all the managers is Bundy, since he was in the Million Dollar Corp. So if the MLW guy is Windham, who had the longest WM sabbatical? Windham had from WM1 - WM13. Was somebody like Valentine in the big WM14 battle royal or something?

    Rock at WM question

I swear I read Meltzer say that Rock gave Vince like 5 match suggestions other than JBL or Cena, with Sting being one of them. Meltzer said the Sting match would probably be the second best possible match quality wise too, but didn't say what #1 was. I'm guessing HBK, but I'm wondering who else he proposed to face. I really can't see Hogan/Austin happening...I'd think Hogan/Cena is more likely, to be honest.

Did Bundy or Valentine or Rotunda appear in ECW? I can't for the life of me think of the guy who was in MLW either. #21 HAS to be Steamboat.

    Rewriting History

The last two shows have been really, really good. Good direction and feuds and all that.

    Rewriting History

Thoughts on the PPV: -Road Warriors? Blarrgh. They were so bad at this point. It's nice to try and bring back the tag division, but unfortunately much of the talent in the tag division at this point isn't very good. -Taka/Aguila happened at WM14, and I don't think it was anywhere close to ***, though it had some nice dives. -The Bradshaw/Windham feud continues? Might as well just have put JBL over and then had Kane attack after the match. -Good stuff with Vader. -Good stuff setting up Rock/Shamrock at WM14, like what really happened. -Vader/Foley is great. -Austin with the predictable but necessary win. Sometimes swerves aren't the best idea. -I'm thinking triple threat with HBK involved at Mania, especially after getting the win here. WM14 looks solid, with Hart/Austin/HBK (possibly), HHH/Owen, Kane/Taker, Shamrock/Rock, Vader/Foley, NAO/LOD, and whatever else you decide to add.

    Unbreakable Card

I'd say Destination X had a much worse lineup. This show will be unspectacular but solid. Matches like the tag title match could be good, and Abyss/Sabu could be a train wreck (in a good way or a bad way). Depending on how they fill out the card with X-division guys and the like, I see it being a solid PPV that doesn't really mean much in the end scope of things. But it'll certainly be better than many WWE PPVs this year, and the card is better than Unforgiven's.

    Rewriting History

Just got back to reading this yesterday, enjoyable stuff. The Taz/Austin SS97 match got me thinking how crazy a match between the two at the time would have been. Actually, just how fun the promos between the two would have been. Anyways, nice build to NWO, which is obviously just a setup for WM14, but a decent lineup nonetheless. Austin going over DBS to set up the Bret match, the tornado tag match, the dumpster match...I thought you'd have Too Much beat Aguila/Taka on the last show to set up the LHW match, but it's nice to see things not always go by the book. The 8-man tag probably went way too long for the time, but it's no big deal. I like the build of Owen into a force to be reckoned with. Who does Kane get to destroy at NWO? Oh, and if Pillman really is gone...why have him win his last match?

    Ted Petty Invitational 2005

Ian said he likes Chris Harris and wants to give him a shot. Should be a great two nights, can't wait to get the DVD.

    I missed SD...what's his finisher?
  14. I figured these should be posted...
  15. IWA-MS announced three matches for the 8/19 Midlothian, IL show: Necro Butcher vs. Homicide Ian Rotten vs. Eddie Kingston (last man standing) Chris Hero vs. Arik Cannon Plus Corporal Robinson will be there if his wife doesn't go into labor. I guess Corp is back now that DP is gone. I can't WAIT to see Necro/Homicide!

MV: Rey Jr. vs. Eddie G. vs. CM Punk

The match is on IWA-MS's Revenge Served Cold 2005 DVD as a bonus. There's also a Punk vs. Cabana vs. Eddie match from around the same time.

    Annoying announcer cliches

I just hate Cole's "he's going to do it! He's going to pin him and we'll have a new champ right here! This match is over! Oh my God he kicked out!"
  18. Thanks PD. So I'm guessing the SD/Joe rematch is awesome?

MV: Rey Jr. vs. Eddie G. vs. CM Punk

Didn't IWA put it as a bonus on one of their recent DVDs? Check out www.smartmarkvideo.com. Loved the video, btw. Why did Rey wrestled in the indies without his mask after WCW?

    IWA-MS 8/19 matches...Necro vs. Homicide!

Necro/Cide has been switched to... Necro vs. Roderick Strong!
  21. Lots of wrestling matches doesn't make a good show. Not saying that the crappy entertainment they do now is good, but you've gotta mix it up a bit.

    WWE Signs Tatanka

Whatever it is, it better not be for some fulltime return. And I really can't see that happening. There's nothing he can really bring to the table. They should bring Ludvig Borga back for one night to pin him with one finger.
  23. Velocity: 1) London vs. Nunzio 2) Kazarian vs. Danny Doring 3) Simon Dean vs. jobber 4) OJ vs. Holly SD: 1) Benoit/Booker vs MNM 2) Psychosis/Crazy vs. Regal/Scotty 3) Heidenreich/Animal vs. jobbers 4) Rey vs. Christian

Why WWE Should Buy the NWA

It's a good idea. If a guy like Billy Gunn can boost attendance for an indy after he's released, you know promoters would be all for having contracted WWE performers showing up. Plus, it would be financial stability for these promotions as well. WWE could help them swing local TV deals, etc. It would be a cheap move for WWE, too.
