  1. I'm graduating from college in May so I need to get rid of some of this shit before I move. So hopefully you guys want to pick some stuff up. Prices are $7 shipped for the first tape, $12 for two, $15 for three. This includes shipping to anywhere in the U.S, but add a dollar to each price if its in Canada. Here's what I have: -IWA-MS Put Up Or Shut Up 1st gen, January 2004: (Hero/Daniels loser leaves town cage match, Chikara match, Webb vs. Delirious, Steel vs. Lynn, more) -IWA-MS Simply of the Best 5, + main event match from PWG 88 Miles Per Hour 1st gen -WCW Uncensored 1998 and Slamboree 1998 1st gen (together on one tape) -WCW Thunder episodes for 7/16/98, 8/5/98, and 8/13/98 1st gen (one tape) -WCW 1999 year in review (a 2 tape set reviewing all the big PPV matches and angles that set them up throughout the year, from Souled Out to Starrcade. Pretty cool stuff actually) -WWF Survivor Series 1991 1st gen -WWF Survivor Series 1993 1st gen -WWF King of the Ring 1993 and 1994 1st gen (together on one tape) -WWF Judgment Day 1998 1st gen -WWF Judgment Day 2000 1st gen -WWF RAW episodes for 2/1/99, 2/13/99, 2/15/99, and 2/22/99 (buildup and fallout of St. Valentine Day's Massacre - great Rock vs. Foley ladder match) -WWF RAW episodes for 3/1/99, 3/8/99, 3/15/99, and 3/22/99 (buildup to WM15) -WWF RAW episodes for 3/29/99, 4/5/99, 4/12/99, and 4/19/99 (buildup to Backlash) -WWF RAW episodes for 6/28/99, 7/5/99, and 7/12/99 (one tape) -WWF Heat episode for 5/30/99 1st gen (one tape) -I also have a three tape set of about 21 or 22 RAWs from 1996. It covers July - December, skipping 2 or 3 shows during that time period. I'd check, but my VCR is broken. If you have any specific episode questions, ask me and I'll probably remember if it's on the tapes or not. This is a three tape set, which costs $15 shipped. For match listings, www.thehistoryofwwe.com and www.ddtdigest.com are good sources. Or ask here. PM me if you are interested in anything. I suggest you get the good stuff fast, since it's first come first serve. I may add some more stuff later, so keep checking back. Let me know if you have Paypal, since that makes everything a lot faster. Thanks!
  2. There is a lot of heat on Romeo Roselli of the Heartthrobs at the moment. There is a feeling among several that I spoke to that Roselli may be getting a little too much of an big head, which has led to him getting the cold shoulder backstage. Roselli recently attempted to get more money out of an independent promotion, Northeast Wrestling, with less than 24 hours before their show last Saturday in Bristol, CT. According to several, Roselli requested more money after being booked for several months because he was a TV star now. One source told me Roselli did so after being instructed to do it by his parents, which is laughable and sad if that is the case. Roselli also voiced complaints about the chances of getting injured the night before he was scheduled to debut on PPV. Now, while that is a valid concern, a number of wrestlers took that to be insulting to the veterans he was scheduled to work with, Mick Foley and Jerry Lawler. He looked doubly bad since Jonathan Coachman also worked the show sick (see below). Roselli was eventually replaced by King Kong Bundy at the indy date, and the real irony is that the show was run by promoter Mike O’Brien, who gave him his first indy dates when he was breaking in. The running joke I’ve heard is that Roselli was lucky he isn’t on the Smackdown roster where he would have to deal with the likes of JBL and Undertaker. There are a few people who wondered if William Regal and Tajiri may have worked snug with the Heartthrobs on the Sunday Night Heat taping this week to send a message to Roselli, as Antonio ended up with a black eye. As noted above, Jonathan Coachman has been suffering from either a bad eye infection or broken blood vessels in his eye. He was said to be in so much pain last wekeend that he hasn’t been able to drive. Since Coachman worked the NEW indy show and took a bunch of bumps for Mick Foley, Roselli looked even worse to many of the wrestlers as here was a non-wrestler gutting through pain and Roselli didn't work a show he was booked for months to appear on. Gangrel is signed to a WWE deal and has been down in Ohio Valley Wrestling training for his comeback to television. I’ve heard from one source he’s been signed for some time, but had been injured, which is why we haven’t seen him. Steve Richards is also down in OVW training to return from his broken nose suffered at the hands of Chris Masters during Masters’ Raw debut. --PWInsider.com

May, 5, 2005 WWE SmackDown! Thread

Really, the I Quit match would make more sense between Rey and Eddie at this point. It's not like they can just have a regular match between the two now. I guess another street fight is in order. Sick spot on the steps at the end of the show, though I was worried he was going to do a brainbuster when he had Rey up in the air. Great stuff, I look forward to JD.

    Character or Gimmick Spinoffs

Mordecai was brought in as a heel counterpart to feud with Undertaker. Of course he never made it that far.
  5. In honor of Chris Candido... Candido/Nigel McGuinness/Double C/Steve Stone vs. CM Punk/Matt Sydal/Ace Steel/Danny Daniels in one of the funniest matches you'll EVER see. Seriously. Download this. It's from IWA-Mid South, 10/22/04 Strong Style tournament show: http://s39.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1NL8YJP...0P16DFRPYP2WCWV OR http://s39.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1201Y8S...ZJ12S6PCF2ZDP3R You will be missed Chris!
  6. Here it is...those of you who download it, please help upload it again for others who want to download it, since the links expire so fast. I believe this is just a rough cut of the video, with a lot of the explosions and sound effects cut out...there's the shot where Cena obviously has a flamethrower, for instance. http://s48.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=138UOSK...ER3AM5G5D627AVK OR http://s48.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2R6EMWM...RG1Q5M58HUODWIN OR http://s48.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3DEEILC...3F0MT02WBL8I466

    WWF/E Tidbits from the past

Test mentioned in his BTR interview last night that he was originally set to debut at the Rock Bottom PPV in December of 1998 and attack Big Bossman, helping the NAO retain the tag titles, and then join DX. They decided against it and put him in the Corporation instead.

    Smackdown Spoilers

Don't be upset, they are really not very good at all. The main event and aftermath sounds really good.

They all have interviews. Also, Heidenreich has a poem for all you Heidenreich-lovers out there. Oh and Cena's new rap video.

Are the other two guys friends of Cena's or just random rappers or who?

    Greatest Rap Ever

I was hoping he'd lose to Kane tonight after a shot to the back from Lita's crutch. That would help him save some face and help Lita get over as a heel a little more. But maybe that's just not the direction they're headed. Christian could really use a big win on RAW before heading to Smackdown, especially if he's going to feud with Cena. The promos for that feud will be fun, no doubt, but it will really make SD look second rate if Christian goes from JTTS on RAW to main eventer on SD.

Hmmm...so I'm thinking the winner of this tournament gets a shot on RAW, and HHH acts all pissed off and horrible until Batista demands one last match with him at Vengeance in HIAC. I didn't see HHH losing coming, but I'm starting to think he's actually going to win the title back because of the jobs he's doing.

So will the final match be HHH vs. Benoit or will they pull a swerve and have it be HHH vs. SHOCKING MYSTERY OPPONENT #1?

I don't think Hassan and Daivari have split up. Hassan was just being an asshole.

Before the TV break it was okay, but after the break it was amazing. Great near falls and some STIFF kicks.

Are there any "newsboardz" around anymore?

That is the greatest thing I've ever read. Wrestlezone has some funny stuff up now about Stacey Keibler getting fined for wearing jeans too tight and RAW is going to be cancelled. CLICK HERE~!~!

    The Recoil of Backlash

I could see Hassan/Daivari vs. Rockers for the tag straps at Vengeance, I suppose.

    Backlash Discussion

Would they actually put Christian over Cena for the WWE title? I can't see it. But damn that would be an interesting feud, to see how many fans turn totally on Cena.

He hit it, but the ref was down. So I guess that's his ticket to a rematch.
