It's not that they weren't effective it's that they'll be better with Amare. Don't you think Amare would have helped out when you mention that Nash was burned out by Game 6, and Marion was invisible for long stretches, and Diaw disappeared at times? Tim Thomas and Barbosa are great bench players for Phoenix, while Amare will make them better and carry the team when the other big 3 aren't doing so. That should make Tim Thomas and Barbosa even more dangerous.

If Amare were playing, the Lakers would win a game at most to begin with. The Suns were struggling when they couldn't grab boards, and allowed 2nd chance points. When halfcout defense took over a game, they really didn't have a true low post guy. Amare takes care of those problems. And if you already forgot, the pick and roll between Nash and Amare was like the most unstoppable play ran last year.

Steve Nash is in better shape than he's ever been in his career though. The main reason for like 34 or so minutes a game on the court is because they run on like every possession.

I know most of you already had your prom, but i'm wondering how your experience was, and what to expect. And if anyone has a good idea on how to get there without spending a fortune, that'd be great too. Maybe you guys have some good stories.

Zo didn't report. Atleast Carter played. Zo got lucky that Kidd wanted him on the Nets. He got his contract, then bashed the team when they lost K-Mart. He started to bitch, so they sent him away. Carter on the other hand was on a team that was going nowhere till they drafted Bosh. Mourning then doesn't even report, and signs on a team who has a chance to win the title. Sounds like a great guy to me.

A 3 game series? I think a bit of explaination should come behind that one. I say Mavs in 6. I want to say 4, but the Heat should win a game or two. We saw the Heat struggle against a team that had two quick scorers at the guard positions in Chicago, and the Terry/Harris combination should hurt them a bit too. No one should be able to handle Dirk either, and atleast you can throw Howard at Wade. Dampier and Diop should do okay on Shaq. Not enough to stop him, but to make him work. Then I like Stackhouse over Walker. I see Stackhouse as being a more consistent scorer. As far as the coaching goes, I think Avery has proven he's the coach of the year in the playoffs, so I also give the nod to him, no matter how many titles Riley has won. I think Dallas should win easy, but i'm hoping it's a tough series.

I'm a bandwagoner Suns fan. Well, I sorta liked them in the KJ/JK/Chapman days, and I liked Marbury in Phoenix too. But it comes full circle now. In the West, I like the Suns.
