Forget the 12 hours. The only reason you have 12 hours to make your pick is because no one is on at the same time. After one person makes a pick, you have 12 hours to make yours. After you make your pick, the next person has 12 hours to make theirs.
Balkman and Jeffries have worse jumpshots than David Lee. Lee is improving on his jumper much like Amare did these past few years. I'm not saying he'll be good as Amare, but he's already shown improvement on his jumper (he improved from 58% to like over 80% at the free throw line).
Are you guys up for doing this ever year? If yeah, would you like specialized drafts (players who started their career in the 1980s, players under 20,000 points for their career, etc.) or would you guys prefer the way we've done it this year?
I think Lee will try to get 10 million because you have people like Nene and Samuel Dalembert making 10 million. Hopefully he'll settle for somewhere between 7 and 9 at most.
If we can clear one of Randolph, Curry and Crawford we'll be good. You have to take into account the extensions for Nate and Lee, as well as other first round picks.
He's a legit 6'9. And he'll probably grow to 6'10. His game is centered around the basket. He's strong enough to play in the post, and he's not quick enough to play defense on SFs. You make it sound like he's Kevin Durant. He's like KG's size just a few inches shorter, and KG does fine posting up.
Well getting Derrick Rose or Beasley would've jump started the process.
Beasley ain't a low post scorer? That's all he did in college. You barely saw his jumper, which is pretty good.
