WHAT IS THAT SHOW with the little pink-haired girl and the puppets and "Action Steve" or whatever, the guy, and the villian with the handlebar mustache. Man, if anyone can tell me, I'll love you for-ever. They had this crazy song about vegetables...that was good shit. I can only imagine watching it drunk or high. It was on at like 1 in the afternoon, Central. Somebody help me. As for Sponge Bob, I mean, well, how can a sponge be gay? I mean, it's asexual, right? And hasn't he dated some chicks on the show? I'm pretty sure he has.

I have to preface this with the admission that I'm not too up on my Revolutionary-era history, but, doesn't it say somewhere that the government is intended to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Because that's a fairly good argument for seat belt laws. "Seat belts save lives" isn't just a catchy slogan. I can understand the view that our lives are ours to do what we please with, but at the same time, they do have that responsibility to protect us. Think of it this way: your parents made decisions for you when you were younger because they couldn't trust you to make the right ones. Not wearing a seat belt is very much a wrong decision, at least in terms of common sense and self-preservation. So, like your parents, the government steps in, because you're making a bad choice.

Yo, Adam, WHAT is that smiley face doing? That's inappropriate, we're TV-14. If you don't have your stuff to me by 9PM Eastern, someone'll have to edit it in later.

An airbag saved my life about three years ago. I had to meet someone for lunch, I was flying on not much sleep, and on the way home I forgot to buckle up. My mind wandered and I ran a red light, slamming into the front left side of the hood of a SUV. The guy ended up fine, his car just supn around a bit, but I was going at about 30 and God knows what would have happened, but for the airbag. I know there's the claims of people being injured because of them, but the concept isn't a bad one by any means. Anyway, I always buckle up, and for what it's worth I appreciate the law. The government is simply trying to protect you from yourself. The law is designed not to step on your rights, but to KEEP YOU ALIVE. I dig that. As for passengers, I don't force them to do it. I encourage it, but I also hit them with the caveat that if I get the ticket (to my understanding, in MN, the driver is liable), they're paying. That usually works.

I'll post unless Patty or someone has a BURNING desire.

Six fights, by my count. Nice stuff. I'll leave, y'know, ACTUAL feedback later this evening, probably.

Well, I just got my interview set up. 10 Am Tuesday (Central). Wish me luck!

But...but it doesn't make any sense...

So...we don't like the new logo, then. Bastards.

I'm surprised too.

NYU -- If you can go to bat for someone else, talk to me. A certain C...wait, that's too obvious. Let's call him Mr. W. M....anyway, he mentioned an interest in coming back to the OAOAST in some capacity, but wanting something like this in effect. So, yeah. Catch either him or me on IM and fill us in. And if I had a uterus, yada yada your babies etc. etc.

No you didn't. You just brought him back with a glowing exterior. He still lost. What the heck are you talking about? Of course he lost; he's a jobber. But he was brought back and you're going to have to live with that. Keep in mind you "killed off" a communal character without thinking if anyone else might ever want to use him ever again. We did. He got brought back, end of story. Keep it up and I'm throwing like four more title belts into the pool.

I'm more than happy to help. I'd rather have a smaller role, what with the OMG STEEL CAGE MATCH and all, but I can do whatever is needed.
-
Well, I don't have it just yet. But thank you.
-
Thank you, thank you all. I do what I can.

But he wouldn't sell very well at all, unless Ryan Smith was buying. ZING~!

Wow. Anyway, if the lockout ends anytime soon, which it won't, I'd imagine I'd be responsible for some. Hockey's a game I know well but don't really care for, but covering it wouldn't be an issue, no. As for locale, there's an office I'd be working from, but it's entirely possible to do from home, I've seen it done. I think I'd have more leeway on weekends as far as that goes. Frankly, I like the idea of a sports news office. They have HDTV and TiVo and all sorts of shit. Plus the dress code is, in its entirety, "no vulgar sayings on clothes." It's nice.

I hear the main event is gonna sell big tickets. That's just what I heard. Still, Target Center is the way to go.
