Hoff/Gibraltar developments, yep. Plus, backstage tomfoolery.

Great show. What?, that was a very classy way to go out, man. Nicely done. I basically liked everything on this show. Since I normally give 10s (or gave, when we rated shows, you know) I'd probably put this at maybe a 12. And for record, i laughed my fucking ass of when Sly talked to the belt. That was gold.

This look is my favorite.

ZACK~! See above note to Northstar. Also, Northstar, you're still gon' be around, right?
-
*drops to the floor. Loses a tooth. Makes sure to bleed on the floor*

I can hardly argue with this logic. NORTHSTAR~! I have like 4 segments this week, so there'll be a ton of notes at the top of the PM I send you. Pay attention, as far as placement and all goes. kthxbye

Not this week...but be watching your inbox. EDIT: Maybe this week....that'd be a lot of Hoff for one week. Again, inbox. I'll shoot you a line tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah yeah, that's what I meant when I said it was spotty, but it worked.

Well, there's certainly ways to get IZ back. Watts pulling a power play, or a group of wrestlers sick of Northstar splitting off. Personally, I think the merge is a good idea, but I've been here less than six months, so I can't speak as to how things used to be. All I know is that I know most of the roster at least a little bit, and I don't think most (if any) of us will have a problem with IZ guys coming over, or longer shows. It is fantasy, after all. We could always be a "three-hour" show, Nitro-style. Because as we all know, Nitro ended up being a huge success.

Easy, easy. Dama, I thought your stuff was great. Hoss vs. Skull Mask was terrific; short and sweet, and it did what it was intended to: get Skull Mask over as a big bad motha. As for Dama/Smith, I thought it was really excellent. There were a couple places I felt it was just a little spotty, but it worked. Dama's new look was killer. I'm not a fan of needless bloodshed, but this was a more personal feud and it seemed apropos, especially with Smith's girl and mom hugging him despite the blood. And the ending REALLY worked for me. A lot of times in situations where neither man will stay down, the pin has to come from a fluke rollup or cradle (or, in this case, backslide). All in all, I thought it was a very excellent, back-and-forth match.

omgbanplzabuseofpowerrotflmao. But in all seriousness, you really should have used the PM system. It's not like a discussion was started because of this thread...oh, wait.
-
Question: are Triple C still the announce team?
-
Shit, no it isn't. Sorry for the unintentional disrespect, Adam, but I forgot all about it. Yeah, let's get that stuff up.
-
Um...am I losing my mind, or is the finish to Axel/Crystal missing? Other than that...my God. This was simply amazing. I've read some of the matches, skimmed others, but top to bottom, every match was very, very good and it made for a just ridiculously awesome show. I don't even want to post specific comments because EVERYONE was simply on their game. I loved it all and will probably get no sleep tonight rereading the show over and over. Wow. Yeah.

Since I see SP browsing, a PREDICTION: Goblin will bring the Po back, only to have it blow up in his face. -

*blushes* Thanks, CC. That really made my night. -
I had Animation Shop a while ago, but my...uh...my registration expired. So, does anyone know where I could get a working copy, or some reasonable facsimile? Kthx in advance.
-
CC had a good pic of RVD you could steal if you want. *snicker*

True. In all fairness, I'd help out if my skills extended anywhere past MSPaint, which they don't. But I promise not to yoink your new banner. ...Probably.

The OaOasT AngleMania III Predictions Thread
Hoff replied to Ed Wood Caulfield's topic in Brandon Truitt
Somehow, Cal would find a way to hold onto....life. AND the title. My picks: -Panther vs. Gunner Sharps (with special referee Chris Byrte) My gut said Panther, but I think something's gonna go down between he and Bryte that'll cost him. Gunner. -CWM-CorbainWasMurdered vs. Hoff Well, you'll have to wait and see, huh? -#1 Contenders Match For The OaOasT World Heavyweight Championship: WCW World Television Champion Sly "The Sly" Sommers vs. Peter "PK" Knight Sly all the way. He's the next big thing. -Charlie Hoss vs. Skull Mask Skull Mask. Hoss is a hoss, but Skull Mask is a monster. -Grudge Match: Ryan Smith vs. Damaramu All I know is I'm excited to see this one. Um, I'll pick Dama, I think he might have something in store for the big night. -OaOasT 24/7 Championship Match: "The Dark One" Axel (Champion) vs. "The Female Phenom" Crystal (Challenger) Crystal, after Axel lets his emotions get in the way. He loves her; I don't think he can really, truly hurt her, and it will cost him. -HeldDOWN General Manager Northstar vs. Alix Spezia (with special guest referee Jenna Elfmann) Shockingly, and no offense intended here, but I'm really looking forward to this. My guess is that Alix will get the fluke pin, thanks in large part to Jenna, to try to humble Northstar. Another prediction: it won't work. -Battle of the Monsters: Gilbaltar (with St. Andrew) vs. "The Current Big Thing" Brock Auustin (with "Good Ol' ECDub" Rick Heyross) This one is tough to call. If I had to guess, I'd pick Gibraltar; he's bigger, seemingly stronger, and his team wins the numbers game, 4-2. -OaOasT X Division Championship: "The Phenemonal" A.J. Flaire (Champion) vs. "The Role Model" Jacob Lynne (Challenger) This match is gonna be awesome. I'll pick Lyne to stay hot and go over. -Final Match Of The Best-Of-Seven Series For #1 Contendership For The OaOasT World Tag Team Championships; TLC Match: The Minions of Mayhem (3-3) vs. The Global Party Exchange (3-3) The GPX *have* to go over here. It's the storybook ending. -3 Stages of Hell Match For the OaOasT World Tag Team Championship: T.N.T. (T.J. Burns and Tyler Bridges) (Champions) vs. Acolytes of Northstar (Silver Star and Flame Out with Holly-Wood) (Challengers) I like the Acolytes okay, but TNT are too good. The champs retain. -Career vs. Career: Streetfight Match: Mad Matt vs. Jeremy Red HARD call. I think Matt's aggresion will cost him again. -Steel Cage Match: T-Bod vs. AngleSault Anglesault. The promotion is NAMED after him. -"The Final Battle" The First Ever House Of Mirrors Match For the OaOasT Adrenalin Championship: "Big Poppa Poppick" Stephen Joseph (Champion) vs. IntenseZone General Manager "Ice Heart" Dan Black (Challenger) Black. He's SO EVIL! I love it! -"Paybacks Are Hell" Career vs. Title: No Disqualification Match For the OaOasT Puerto Rican Championship (If The Mad Cappa loses, then he must retire from professional wrestling): Puerto Rican Lightning (Champion with The Lightning Crew) vs. The Mad Cappa (Challenger) Sad to say, PRL will probably win this one. Another notch in his belt. -OaOasT World Heavyweight Championship Match: Calvin Szechstein (Champion) vs. Zack Malibu (Challenger) Wow, I don't even know. I'm looking forward to the match. We'll say Calvin, he's slippery.
