We have 10,000 lakes!!! Not to mention Lake Superior -- the BIGGEST great lake. ...I think (might be Michigan, I'm sure as hell too lazy to check). That is a good point, though. When I went to school in Milwaukee, the cold and snow got very unbearable at times. Same with Duluth, which is on the aforementioned Lake Superior. Green Bay has it rough, too. Minneapolis is just almost unbearably cold.

That is the ever-loving truth. I've never met someone who didn't like Mario Kart (any version). Hell, my friggin' mother liked Mario Kart. It's simply a social phenomenon. Here's my question, in the same vein but not necessarily about MK. I sold my GameCube this April, not because I was sick of it, but because I was poor. I still have a Wavebird, Prime, Wrestlemania X8, and Madden '03. At this point, does it pay for me to get the Cube again? Or, more accurately, is there enough good stuff for it to make it WORTH the investment?

They need to go the Metroid route with Double Dragon. Make an entirely new Dragon game for the nextgens, and put out the original for the GBA and possibly PSP. Then link 'em up for mad Double Dragon II and III goodness.

Pretty much everything listed is good. Your best timekiller, though, is going to be one of the following: Mario Kart Super Circuit, Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival, possibly a Mario Advance (any, pick your poison), or, if you can get away with truly focusing on the game, Metroid Fusion. If you ask me, it's the best game for the system to date. Most of the ones mentioned in this thread are up there, though.

The following are NOT spoilers, but they do deal with something that could potentially occur tonight, so thus, the tag. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): A friend and I were speculating that Ryan's brother asks him to steal something from the Cohen's place, to get him some money in the joint. Ryan's standing in a room holding some priceless junk, contemplating whether he can really do this, when Sandy sees him and inquires. After explaining the situation, Sandy tells Ryan to take it. He also says not to tell anyone, thus creating a "secret" of sorts and possibly increasing the tension between Sandy and Kirsten. Keep in mind I have no basis per se for the above, it's simply speculation on a possible plotline. Just thought I'd put it out there.
