Well, Ripper wins the thread. I dunno. Given those involved, I would imagine they *might* be able to be civil about all of this. Obviously, putting Matt and Edge in a program is bad news, but Matt's a supposed nice guy, and Edge and Lita tried to keep low-key...from the sounds of it, all parties are committed to being adults, thankfully. All of htis means that hopefully no one's push will have to be hurt. Except Lita's....because I don't like Lita.

Missing it and wanting to be back there are two different animals, and I think people lose sight of that. Think about EVERYTHING high school entailed, even if you had a positive experience. Homework. Curfews. Cliques. It's not all roses and cinnamon. I miss it quite a bit, but I don't want to relive it. Charisma's finicky. Look at Rocky Maivia -- from lump of nothing to, well, The Rock. He's at least shown that he's not HORRIBLY inept on the stick, or with the crowd -- so we can at least hope he might improve.

I have to agree. If this is like any wrestling split, it's got to be most like the unfortunate split between Shawn Michaels and Marty Janetty. Poor Edge took Matt's heart and threw it through a barbershop window.

He's young, exactly. Who knows what could happen? He's got a good look, albeit somewhat standard, and he's charismatic enough...no Jericho or Rock, but enough so to get over. He's not PAINFUL to watch in the ring, which usually signifies room for improvement. I say wait and see, and he could be something special. At this moment in time, though, he's not exactly holding my interest very well. Needs a new gimmick.
