I don't know if anyone has posted about this yet, but apparently Big Show is turning down all wrestling offers right now to focus on becoming a professional boxer. He's down to the 440s in terms of weight as well.

So just how much will the pay-per-view actually help ROH. Will it gain an extra couple thousand fans, or be a waste of money.

I loved how once there was no one holding the iron sheik back, he just turns and walks away anyway. Earlier in the day I guess Bruno and Warrior had a pleasant meeting. To bad no one puts up youtube videos of stuff like that.

Another report from the convention, I don't know if anyone is interested in that type of stuff, but the thread seems to have gotten enough views. HI! BY FAR THE MOST FRIENDLY WERE BRUNO AND THE WARRIOR,THE HULKSTER COULD NOT BE FRIENDLY BECAUSE OF THE PROMOTERS, BUT WARRIOR WAS DRESSES IN A SUIT AND WAS VERY FRIENDLY,HE TOOK THE TIME TO TALK TO EVERYONE THAT WAS IN HIS LINE,AND POSED FOR PICTURES,THE WARRIOR LINE BY FAR OUTDREW HOGANS,WELL THE INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED WAS WHILE I WAS WAITING IN LINE TO GET WARRIOR TO SIGN MY ITEMS,I WAS AT THE BACK OF THE LINE,AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I NOTICED BRUNO SAMMARTINO COME OVER AND TALK TO WARRIOR THE EMBRACED AND POSED FOR A RARE PHOTO OP!!THEN BRUNO WENT HIS TABLE,WHICH WAS ABOUT 7 TABLES AWAY.WHEN IT WAS MY TURN TO GET WARRIOR TO SIGN,HE WAS VERY NICE ASKED MY NAME,THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE IRON SHEIK AND HIS PROMOTER CAME BY,THE SHEIK JUST WANTED TO SAY HELLO,BUT THE WARRIOR TOLD HIM,TO GO AWAY,HE HAS NOTHI NG TO SAY TO THE SHEIK,HE DISGRACED HIM,AND HAS TALKED BAD ABOUT HIM,THE WARRIOR IN A NICE WAY TOLD HIM TO GO BACK TO HIS TABLE,AT THIS POINT THE SHEIK SAY HE WAS SORRY FOR THINGS HE SAID IN THE PAST,WARRIOR SAID APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED,AT THIS POINT THE WARRIORS PROMOTERS WERE TELLING THE SHEIKS PROMOTER TO GET THE IRON SHEIK OUTTA THERE,THE SHEIK STARTED TO BERATE THE WARRIOR,AND HIS PROMOTER,HE IN TURNED SLAPPED HIS PROMOTER IN THE FACE VERY HARD,SAYING WHY THE PROMOTER BROUGHT HIM TO THE WARRIOR ,IF WARRIOR WAS GOING TO BE LIKE THAT,I STEPPED BACK FROM THE WARRIOR THINKING THEY WERE GOING TO GO AT IT,BUT WARRIOR CALLED FOR SECURITY AND THE SHEIK WAS ESCORTED BACK TO HIS TABLE,THEN THE WARRIOR APOLOGIZED TO ME AND ALL,HE SAID IT WAS OVER THINGS SHEIK AS SAID TO HIM IN THE PAST!!!BY FAR WARRIOR AND BRUNO WERE THE NICEST AT THIS SIGNINGS,ITS UNFORTUNATE THE SHEIK HAD TO DO THAT,BUT IT WAS MY FEELING THE SHEIK WAS UPSET AT HIS PROMOTER,FOR SETTING HIM UP TO MAKE HIM LOOK BAD THIS OCCURED IN FRONT OF ABOUT 100 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF WARRIORS TABLE.

FROM: http://wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id=448...a0f2ccafdfd854d I'll admit that I went into this signing with a pessimistic outlook, the costs of certain things and the supposed reputation of the Ultimate Warrior. But I must say that all of the autographs I got today went really smoothly and I was very impressed. I was especially impressed with Ultimate Warrior and how he handled his autograph session. He was on time, he was very social and he made time for everyone that came up to him to chat. I got to chat with him for a couple of minutes and left very happy. For a man who supposedly "self-destructed" I didn't see one piece of evidence to back that claim. I also met the Iron Sheik and he was very nice and posed for photos with everyone. I managed to meet him right before the incident with Warrior and that itself was a scary moment because Sheik threw his coat down and called Warrior out for a fist fight. Warrior just stared as Sheik dropped a lot of F-bombs, it was broken up fairly quickly but I guess that's the world of pro wrestling in the fact that anything can happen. Bruno Sammartino was very social and he signed and posed for all of his fans. The line for Hulk Hogan wasn't that long by the time I got up to him. I was greeted by Jimmy Hart who is always cool to talk to and finally got to meet the Hulkster and chatted with him for a minute, got my picture signed and posed for a photo and decided to find the nearest White Castle before another battle royal started. Overall it was a very well run autograph signing and if anyone who reads this has the chance to meet any of these legends I highly recommend it. Joseph DeSario If anyone was lucky enough to get a picture of Warrior and Bruno together, I would love for you to email me a copy for my personal collection on Bruno Georgie [email protected] I also heard that Iron Sheik slapping Eric Simms should be on You Tube soon....

    Spider-Man 3

Everyone keeps talking about venom being shelved in 25 minutes, but during the entire movie I just figure they were planning on bringing him back in either the next movie or the planned final fifth movie. There was a wee bit of symbiote left after the explosion, and characters have been brought back from the dead from more dramatic deaths in the past in other movies. Not to mention the director teasing in an interview that someone who died may not be dead. It's either the goblin or venom, and I don't see whats left to do with Harry after the babyface turn.

Top Ten Draws In U.S. Wrestling

I don't think there are ten big draws in the US right now. But I can tell you the guys that got me to leave my house and go see a show. Sting, Samoa Joe, Hulk Hogan, Paul Wight, Bryan Danielson, and even BJ Whitmer a few weeks back for an ROH cage match. I'd say your big draws in the WWE would probably be Cena, HHH, Undertaker, and maybe Batista. I hate to say it but Batista lost that special it factor he had during his late Raw days.

    The Invasion Angle

I would have gone for it I think. Got the big guys like Sting, Flair, Hogan etc. Paired them with their dream match counterparts and went to town. Yeah some of it may have been a let down in the long run, but atleast if you did it that way you actually tried to make the most out of it while it was hot. Sting vs Undertaker Austin vs Hogan Benoit vs Booker T Flair vs anyone and then let the mid card and other main eventers pair off as needed.

Sean O'Haire almost killed in a bar fight

I've seen most of his mma fights from what I know of via youtube, and other media outlets. The few times he's won he looks like he could go places, but then the times he's lost...it's pretty much been in one-sided fights. Whatever success he had in kickboxing and toughman competitions just didn't seem to translate into mma.

George Romero talks "Diary of the Dead"

I enjoyed the Dawn remake, Land, the Night remake, and Shaun of the Dead, but to this day can't seem to finish the original Night of the Living Dead. Not because it bores me, or is bad. Just because something always happens where I either fall asleep after work, or have to turn the tv off.

WWE Goin' All O'er the World!!

Well Vince really wants to be the only brand of wrestling once and for all. This seems like it would help and hurt the business if successful. Could put independents and foreign promotions further into the grave then some already are. Could create more good paying jobs for wrestlers though.

  18. I think the situation is easy to understand and not as difficult as everyone is making it out to be. Punk is a mark just like most of us. Has been losing more frequently after a big initial push. Let the internet buzz get to him, and asked if he had heat. That's not even saying if the whole tidbit is even true. It could just be some internet bullshit. I don't see anything about not wanting to job or anything else. I just see a guy who was worried about their future with the company.
  19. Maybe it's just me but even after the czw feud I could see a new spark of charisma in Bj Whitmer. He's not charismatic like a Shawn Michaels, but he's shown me a lot more in the last year.

Best shoot interviews of all time?

I've enjoyed all the volumes of Secrets of the Ring with Raven(let me just suggest any shoot by Raven.), Ultimate Warrior's shoot was fun if you're a warrior fan or even a warrior hater. Roh's shoots are all pretty good save for maybe Butch Reed and Kamala.

WWE.com has a where are they now article up on several stars. Jake has one...turns out he does kingfishing contests now. He also states that he fights his addictions, and if he falls off he picks himself back up and tries again. He's writing a book on the whole thing to try to help others.
