Was my #1 until FF VII came out. Unbelievable atmosphere that still holds up. I'd pay 8 dollars or whatever it is for that and a few other SNES games. If anything just for the convience. My SNES and Genesis are a pain to play because they're off buried somewhere in a closet along with a million lame fighting games and other carts. I was thinking of playing it the other day but forgot about it because I don't want to set it all up.

New VC content should be SUPER METROID.

It's not as bad of a shortage. Anything is going to look good compared to Sony's pathetic numbers. Doesn't mean they get off the hook with spin about it being because they're just flying off the shelves. That's why none of these launches mean anything. There is no way to judge demand when none of them can meet supply. It's easy to get all excited and hyped about Wii's being sold out but so what? It's 600,000. All three would be selling that and much more if they could actually get the systems out there. The only thing this nonsense is good for is PR. Nintendo gets a free chance to put out press releases hyping it up and Sony can't say anything at all since they only released like 100 PS3s in North America.

Oh come on.... Nintendo just didn't ship enough systems, just like Sony and MS. Nintendo planned to have a million for launch or "early December". When MS and Sony have a shortage it's incompetence. When Nintendo does it's actually because Nintendo is so great everyone wants one.

Yeah I don't like Iwata. He isn't fun to hate. He is just some boring guy that used to design games. Yamuachi was awesome cause he is such a character. The mob ties, the rambling tirades, the hit on Metroid guy. It's just so funny and over the top. Even if none of it is true. I think of Reggie as the face of Nintendo now just because he is interesting. Sony needs to stick with just one spokesman. Everyone there is either stupid/crazy or just boring. I don't even understand who does what. There are so many CEOs of SCE something. It's impossible to keep track. They get promoted or demoted like every month. I miss J Allard. I wonder whatever happened to him. He is probably off snowboarding now.

I mostly do it to amuse or annoy Andrew..... Metroid Guy is Gunpei Yokoi, a Nintendo employee who designed Metroid, Gameboy and Virtual Boy. After VB failed he left Nintendo in disgrace. He went on to design the Wondersawn but before it was released he was killed in a car wreck. A hardcore Xbox fan we know of once made cryptic accusasions that his death was actually a hit ordered by Yamauchi. This is one of the funniest talking points I've ever seen used in a console wars discussion so I bring it up any chance I get now.

Nintendo isn't shipping as many as they should either. It's not because Wii is such a huge success, it's not like Nintendo has 2 million of them out there. 600,000 is a lot better then the PS3 debacle but they still probably will not meet the numbers they had hyped up. All 3 are guilty of crappy launches. We know why there's no PS3s...but why Nintendo and MS? I suspect incompetence and shady business tactics! But just like the hit on the Metroid guy I can't actually back that up.

Tekken, Soulcalibur and Virtua Fighter sell more in America then Japan. SC II and MK showed the best thing to do is go multiplatform.

Fighting games. Tekken 6 and Virtua Fighter 5.....

I'd rather play an over the top girly character then many of the lame female main characters in games.

You're right Sony hasn't done much lately....and that's not a bad thing. I like gaming now. I've liked gaming since Sony became our gaming overlords. I have no interest in regime change. The hype about 3rd party support for Wii is the same talk we've been hearing for ages. Like every 2 years we go through this. It dates back to over a decade ago. Howard Lincoln was going on about the "dream team" while Reggie was still working for Pizza Hut!

I liked post SNES Nintendo the most during the N64 era. That was a GREAT secondary system. PSX was the main system, I'd only buy like one N64 game every 3 months but they were excellent. Great multiplayer too. That system had it's specific purpose...big Nintendo 1st party titles and 4 player party games and it did those two things well. PSX and N64 could live in harmony. Much better then the GC situation where it was just a lame PS2 and Xbox. Plus since N64 was fairly successful so the nostalgic hardcore fans didn't feel the need to dream about the old days when Nintendo was in charge and get so excited about the possible downfall of Sony. I would be totally fine with Wii if it was in the N64's position. Nintendo on top makes me cry.

I'm scared! I don't think I could take that. The only thing good coming from that for me is that by 2010 or so Nintendo would no longer be the friend to all gamers, nostalgic underdog good guys just trying to get by against overlord Sony. They would be the evil empire again and Sony or maybe someone new could come in and save us by taking us back to the good old days of 1997-2003.

What is dumb is being 100th in line for a store that's only going to have like 20 PS3s.

Yeah it's terrible. Everyone always takes for granted how improved the controls are in SF II. The best thing about that game now is seeing how everyone used to look back then, like the thin white Birdie.

Waiting in line does suck but if you want to play the games now why wait 6 months? Waiting in line for hours is not the same thing as the 2 day camping. We all post about video games in a pro wrestling forum, that's not much better then waiting in a line.

Uh, MK3 has the best fatalities in that series........ HHH was so cool back then. I always liked the goofy gimmicks where they where a cartoony stereotype or had another job or hobby besides being a wrestler. Like IRS! I always played as him in the SNES games.

I like how random items would fly out of them when they were hit. Like food coming out of Yokozuna. What a great game. Real wrestling would be better if everyone had special moves. It's already fake fighting with storylines, they need to take it one step further and make it like live action Tekken and Mortal Kombat. I would watch then.

Undertaker shooting demons is a good thing.

I am impressed at the poor reviews for Red Steel and some of the other Wii/PS3 reviews. Didn't think they'd have it in them to give a score like that for such a hyped launch game. I figured if it was bad they'd just give it the token 8. Now I'm curious to see what IGN and the others say. But out of all the Wii games it's still the one that interests me the most, just because it's a FPS with such a cool concept.

Warriors of Fate was cool. Used to play that at a pizza hut. You could ride a horse! There was one before it too, Dynasty Wars.
