Google, Yahoo, ect. are silly but they're not common words and they don't remind you of baby talk. A simple and fun name like those would make sense. Wii is just too out there. We is a word we use all the time. It's never going to feel right using it in a sentence. The spelling makes pronouncing it confusing. The explination about it representing the controllers people coming together sounds like something they just made up after already deciding the name. It's hokey and contrived. I don't believe they came up with this name because they wanted to symbolize anything, it feels like they came up with a weird name and spell it like that just for the sake of being different. It's ok as a logo and text.....it's stupid when you say it. Having the name be similar to a word like "we" is just awkward. I also don't think a name like this will do anything to get these mythical "non gamers" to suddenly buy a console. Gaming is bigger and better than it has ever been before. The status quo has made it mainstream. I do not think there are millions of people out there who will suddenly want to play games because of a simple name and controls. The whole idea of middle aged women and grand parents playing games because of the wand is just nonsense. These people that don't care about games do not think they are too complex or whatever.....they just don't care about games period. A memorable name or gimmick controller is not going to make them start playing. I am convined that in 5 years the gaming world will be.....exactly the same. The big audience will be young men. The latest GTA and Madden will sell millions more than any of Nintendo's innovative games.

I thought it was...ok. I don't regret seeing it and it did a really good job looking like the game but it just wasn't scary. There was hardly any suspense. They just kind of showed the monsters and that isn't enough. The CGI monsters looked cool but it never came close to really disturbing me. One of the things I liked was when . That was straight out of a survival horror game! I can totally see your character walking up, asking you if you want to do it then then watching that little cutscene. That was one of the few times I was actually somewhat worried about what would happen next. And the only thing that got to me was . I did not expect to happen and I was shocked they showed the whole thing.

It's horrible. I haven't understood Nintendo for like, 10 years now.

Capcom has always milked but they also put out new content along with it. After milking SF they did Darkstalkers and so on. Now it's just milk, milk, milk. They don't do anything BUT complilations and updates to old games. I can't imagine being burnt out on fighting games. Spending all my gaming time and money at the arcade this past year has been the most exciting game experience I've had in years. I don't know of a more worthwhile pursuit in games. I'm always improving, learning something new, with a new goal to achive, I've always got someone to play, I've met lots of new friends. I could not stand to play something like Survival mode....the social aspect is half the fun. I've had so much fun just focusing on Tekken I've even lost a lot of interest in things like FF VII. I keep forgetting Advent Children is out!

Am I wrong though? I doubt you can honestly say you are truely excited about the idea of playing the Alpha games on PS2. Survival mode? Who plays this stuff? I have never heard of anyone that actually plays those extra modes unless there is an interesting reward or goal.

If it's the arcade versions then is Alpha 2 Gold really a straight port of Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha? Meaning...no Cammy or any of the other extras they added for the home version. I don't understand why it's still not confirmed what version of Alpha 3 is. How hard is it to find out if it's Upper or not? One look at the character select screen should solve that issue. If they're doing arcade versions they should just put in plain CPS2 Alpha 3. There's never been a perfect home version of that. I think the remaining serious players would rather have a straight port of regular arcade 3. Casual fans already have a million home versions of Alpha 3 Upper or whatever to play. This collection is not very exciting. The Alpha games are not THAT old and have tons of different versions. There is really no need for a collection. There is especially no need for a collection of versions that are already readily available. As of now the only way to play straight arcade A3 is emulation or the real CPS2 board. I guess some people would cry about the lack of extra crap and characters but CPS2 A3 would be somewhat worthwhile on PS2. If you want Upper or that new Max play those versions. I'm really losing patience with Capcom. Enough already. Who HONESTLY cares about this? Who doesn't already have these games? They're PSX and Saturn era games. If you want to play them you can put them in your system and play them right now. If you don't already own them you can buy them for like 5 dollars. If you're hardcore you can actually buy the arcade boards for about the price of a new game. This is POINTLESS. Let's be honest here...how many people are actually excited and thrilled for a collection of Alpha games...and how many are interested because it's a Capcom fighter and...there is simply no NEW content from Capcom to be excited about. Nowa days these weaksauce compilations, ports and cut and paste dream match games like Fighting Jam are all we have to look forward to. Capcom puts out mediocre work and everyone accepts it because there's nothing else better from them. Like MAX. Ok Alpha 3 on PSP...WHO CARES? It's Alpha 3. The game is ancient. Oh wow, they did a cut and paste job to add yet more extra characters. The only reason anyone cares is because it's portable and it's SOMETHING. Since when was a handheld version of an old game worth being hyped over? If this was years ago and they were still doing other big projects it'd be different. Stuff like handheld ports and compilations are cool novelities...but I'm sick of getting nothing but those things of titles from Capcom. It's been like a decade since they went all out with a totally new Street Fighter game. 3S, Marvel and CvS2 are all now years old and were updates to begin with. I love 3S but it's unbelievable that it's still the big current SF game when the major 3D fighting game franchises have moved on by like, 2 or 3 sequels. SF III is still "new" when it came out the same year as Tekken 3! Anyway, I am tired of just going along with whatever Capcom puts out just because it's Capcom and there's nothing else. I'm just becoming more bitter and jaded. I'm even starting to feel apathetic. Now the same thing is happening with Guilty Gear. XX Slash? Whatever. Actually, I'm losing patience with a LOT of these fighting game series. I used to love bad fighters and playing every series but I can't tolerate it anymore. I know I'll end up getting in the end, but right now I have no desire to play MK Armageddon. Instead of being hyped I spend more time making fun of it. I have been giving a lot of thought to selling a huge portion of my fighting game collection.

Yaay the arcade got Soulcalibur II back! III should be coming any day too, either replacing the new II or seperate. I'm so happy to be able to play it again, Ringing out people with Cassie's 236B. T5 DR + SC II/III is the best thing ever!

I like Ashe's costume. The skirt is just way short. FF's main girls are usually some of my favorite female game characters, I think she'll be cool.

Yeah, it looks like Marduk's goofy looking hopkick. u/f+4 is a good launcher too. I play Asuka. I think she's different enough from Jun. Jun was weak.

You shouldn't have to experiment to be able to hit diagonals. I put too much time and energy into the arcade version to be messing around with that. Nobody is going to be playing two player either. I've never heard of people meeting up to play...a handheld game. The better I get at T5 and 3S the less tolerance I have for other fighting games, playing one player or weak ports/handheld versions. I'm sure Alpha 3 is a good port but it's still a handheld. And DR really is awesome. I have not played anything but that(and console T5) since it came out almost 2 months ago. DR is the only thing I spend my gaming time/money on. MK Armageddon comes out in a few months. It looks.....bad.

The animation is impressive. Old, sickly Lau looks cool. The new feature for VF.Net that allows you to download matches to your PC is brilliant. T6 needs to do that. It's a lot nicer than watching match vids recorded by a shakey camera. T5 DR for PSP comes out in June. I haven't played a PSP but I hope the Dpad is not as bad as it's made out to be. I've seen people that act like it's difficult to do a fireball motion. I don't want to play DR if I can't even backdash properly.

Everyone forgets how bad the Rock/Austin build was because the match ended up being so good. There wasn't even that much, the match was only actually officially set like 4 weeks before WM. I've always wondered what was with that Debra story. What was the point? Why was it suddenly dropped? Was that all they had planned or was someone smart enough to realize it was stupid? Besides that last interview the good parts of the build where the confrontations. The Armageddon match, the Rumble, that Raw match where Austin turned to see Rock preparing for the Rock Bottom....all effective just because of those two guys. The story of Rock/Hogan and the Rock/Austin 18 rematch were horrible too. I blame Steph. Survivor Series 2000 was the beginning of the end. That ridiculous car dropping stunt. Ever since she took over my interest has gone down until where it is now. The only enjoyment I get from WWE now is making fun of it. I used to be angry about losing a hobby but I've gotten over it.

Ok, psycho chick. The acting is so bad. To be fair I've seen part of one segment of this story, but it was enough. Awful, just like Victoria was. I don't know how anyone can stand that kind of story/acting.

I love how Trips is sitting there with his fur, helmet and throne full of skulls....holding a bottle of water. He needs to start using that huge Olaf hammer. I can't believe people are hating on barbarian HHH and gangster Cena. It's so cool, everyone should get these entrances. There is no such thing as a good "psycho" gimmick in wrestling.

Uh, seriously, HHH's throne is the best thing WWE has done in years. If he came out in that with like, some jobbers holding it up, I would start watching Raw again.

I still need to get this. I don't want to keep putting it off and never get it. I have like 6 different games I've been putting off. I spend too much money at the arcade to buy PS2 games. Boreanaz being gone sucks. I loved him as Squall. Walk, cutscene, 5 minutes of gameplay, walk, cutscene, 5 minutes of gameplay.....that sounds good.

I can't wait to see if Chris Masters and Carlito can win the tag team titles. This is quite possibly my most highly anticipated tag team championship match of all time.

Too bad it's not a sequal to the amazing Justice League Task Force.

Tekken Advance was bad from day 1. As much as I like Tekken and have a high tolerance for crap I still didn't like it. I am guessing the only reason it got good reviews was that it has really good graphics(especially when not moving) and that it's portable Tekken. The gameplay is so choppy and sluggish it's unplayable. No portable fighter is great, but at least some like Revival and Alpha 3 are "good for a portable". TA is just BAD. I'd rather imagine about playing DR than play TA. I doubt anyone is going to care about DR multiplayer. Who randomly carries around a PSP and just happens to run into someone? "hey lets meet up for some DR"? I doubt it. DR on PSP is such a WASTE. Most disappointing gaming news of the year so far. Namco....LILI ON CONSOLE PLEASE! Don't make me buy a DR cabinet. MK Advance is seriously incredible. Have you played it? Don't mock it till you try it. It's like UMK3...but ADVANCED. A cast of 30 or so characters! 15 are palatte swap ninjas! Challenging AI! The computer is so good it can do special moves with no recovery over and over again! New gameplay tweaks and features! Be amazed at the new "random parry" system where projectile and other moves mysteriously go through the opponent seemingly at random. Updated and improved Fatalities! Classics take on a whole new meaning with new animation! Marvel at Kabal's head being missing during his scream fatality. Look on in awe at Sindel's skin tear scream fatality causing the opponent to burst into flame for no apparent reason.

No, avoid that too. It sucks. What makes you think you'll be able to play against humans in DR for PSP? I really doubt anyone is going to care, unless it's online. I HIGHLY recommend Mortal Kombat Advance. It's like UMK3 but.....not. TRY IT!

There isn't a great one. I think DOA 4 is it.

Well I'm sold. That will hold me over until DOAX 2 can come out.
